👤After I posted my review, they reached out to me and offered to send me another package with all six products, or a full refund. Customer service is amazing. There is a I did not read any of the reviews before purchasing, nor did I look at the dimensions or how much I would actually be getting, so I would like to start off by saying that. I am surprised by how small these bags are. It makes it look larger in the image. If I had looked at the description differently, I would have seen it differently. I got these for a friend of mine because his girlfriend bought him a Traeger and I will update my post as soon as they give me their opinion.
👤I tried this product to see if it would work with an electric smoker and pellet tray. No matter how I prepare them, they don't stay lit. They burned in my cold smoke attachment, but also released a lot of water into the chamber. It felt like I had a humidifier in there. They wouldn't stay in the tray. Eggs are slimy. The cheese was slimy. Not trying these with anything else. I'm done with them. Experience was not good. My neighbor sells name brand pellets at a sporting store. The test tray burned perfect. There is a My two cents. If you try them, best of luck, maybe this was a bad one. Caveat emptor.
👤The Apple flavor on some ribeye steaks was good. I would recommend the use of a smoking tube over a grill as these are sample packages.
👤I got this for my family and they love it. It has been a lot of fun finding new flavors that we enjoy. It has been a great spend of money to get a variety of wood chips instead of buying a single big bag of wood chips and wasting them.
👤The package is well packaged and smells great. The actual size of the bags is something to pay close attention to. They are much smaller than you think. The pellets are 4 times more expensive than normal.
👤The cold smoker and hot smoker have different types of smoke in them. The cold smoker took a bit of effort to light, but pellets worked well.
👤It works great in my smoker, it gives the meat and cheese a good flavor.
👤Pellets burn well. Good taste. I have an interesting array of flavors since the packages were broken.
We say that it is not oak or alder. Will not void the manufacturers warranty.
👤I read all the reviews and this was my second time ordering these, I read the one that said he found pieces of blue plastic in it but didn't notice anything. When I opened the pallet container, I saw a few pieces of blue plastic in it, but I thought my grill internals were burning. No matter how good or cheap they are, wont order any of these again. I ordered two last time and got one.
👤I read the manufacturer's response to the customers who found blue plastic in their pellets and assumed that all of the manufacturing problems had been solved. I spotted a pellet that is not safe for food use during the initial loading of my hopper. The pellet has green paint on it. Who knows how many pellets are actually made with unnatural impurities? Attached is a photo.
👤I have a computer. One of the best pellet grills on the market is the bull pellet grill. When I ordered the grill, I ordered 400 pounds of Rec Tec's Ultimate blend pellets, used all of them and decided to try them out because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. After a few cooks, I started to notice a small amount of ash on my food, but I never got that with the Rec Tec pellets. I ordered 80 pounds and kept using them, but I would get a bit of ash on the food. I went back to the pellets. I found more ash after using 70 pounds of Cookingpellets brand than I did after using 400 pounds of Rec Tec pellets. It was crazy. The cook time between cleanings is about 20%. I liked the flavor but will not buy them again. If you haven't tried the pellets before, give them a try.
👤The best cooking pellet for the money is on Amazon. I bought 6 bags of the perfect mix for my Traeger Smoker. I've purchased BBQ Delight pellets from their website, but they don't sell large quantities on Amazon. The mix is better for my family and I. It's great to have pelleted meat for pulled pork and brisket. It is difficult to smoke chicken with the skin. There is a fair amount of ash left by these. I vacuum out the ash after a long smoke. The amount of ash is the same. There is a bad thing about these pellets. The shipment. The cardboard box is very snug with the plastic bag. If you use scissors to open the box, you will need to cut the plastic to put the pellets in the container.
👤I use my pellet cooker several times a week, even in the harsh winters of the midwest, and I've tried many brands of pellets along the way, but CookinPellets Perfect Mix is the only one that holds a candle to CookinPellets Perfect Mix Consistent in size, smoke, and flavor. They produce very little ash and burn at an incredibly consistent rate that gives me more cook hours than other brands. My hopper has never had an issue with these pellets, and even when outdoor temperatures plummet, they burn steadily, without massive fluctuations. I am a big fan of CookinPellets and I am looking forward to trying the other wood pellet options this season.
Traeger created the original wood-pellet grill as the ultimate way to achieve wood-fired taste. The tailgater is the most capable of portable grills. The temperature control is pre-science. The Digital Arc controller has a temperature range of 18 to 400 degrees. Wherever you go, take your grill and BBQ. You will never have to leave your smoke behind when you travel. The grill capacity is 300 sq inches, and the legs can hold 12 burgers, 3 racks of ribs or 2 whole chickens. You can grill, smoke, bake, or BBQ.
👤This is the first time I've ever written a negative review on Amazon. I decided to invest in a smoker because of the time I spend at home, and spent the extra money to buy a Traeger. The 'Cadillac' of smokers. Since it arrived, I have had no issues. The tailgater is a newer model. The support agents have not been trained on this model. Don't buy this Traeger. The digital controls are a disaster. The controls don't work and the manual doesn't have the right instructions. I need to return something that was a disaster.
👤There is a piece of junk. I had multiple calls to Traeger and then they sent parts that didn't work and I ended up with a pile of stuff that can't be returned and parts that are on back order. Stay far away from Traeger. The grill works well after Trager sent me a new one.
👤We bought this for my husband on Father's Day. The damn thing doesn't work after you get it home and follow all the instructions. The rod doesn't heat up because the fan won't blow. Pitiful! It doesn't work and we spent over 50 dollars for it.
👤Update 2. I have had the chance to use the replacement Blower Part 3 times now, after it arrived a week ago. The controls on this model are crazy. The probe temp would shut down when I tried to get it to display. It's too much to use one center button to control the probe temp display, timer, shutdown, and other things when the only difference is a second. When a pellet grill goes into shutdown mode, you will know what it is. I would like to know if new software will allow for a better grilling experience. The app is only useful as a timer, and it does not connect to the internet. If you check my reviews, I don't rate things low. If I were doing this again, I would do more homework and get something else. There is a Update 1 I have been made impatient by Amazon prime. I bought a replacement fan for $17 on here. One day the one from Traeger might show up. 10 minutes after fans arrived, the fan was working. Will update and revise my rating, but I am staying with 2* for now. The instructions for the steak are not up to date. My model oftailgater 20 has a digital interface, so anything I find on the internet is outdated. I guessed how long it would take to cook it and then turn it off, but it was a lot more complicated than that. The center button should be pressed for 3 seconds. It wasn't clear what the difference was between pressing for 2 seconds and pressing for 3 seconds. The instructions are incorrect because the internal temp wasn't displayed during shutdown mode and the timer was wrong. I have read a lot before I buy, so I don't think it was me just not doing my research, I waited for it to show up and thought I was prepared. Apparently, my research relates to the wrong model. I can't recommend it for now, but I will get how to use it. It was original. It was easy to put together, but when I turned it on, the fan was dead. The support line walked me through some trouble shooting, and after 45 minutes or so we decided it needed a replacement fan. I would have thought they tested them before they left the factory. If part arrives and fixes my review, I will update it. Not looking promising.
Each bag contains 1 pound of each flavor. 1/3 cup per use is needed. It's easy to use. Works with any type of grill. It is made in the USA.
👤I liked trying different flavors. Even though it was a bit pricey. I own a Traeger grill and smoker. The problem is that by the time I got the 1lb bag for each wood flavor, it was almost gone. Trying to use one. So had to mix wood pellet combinations. It was disappointing for sure. I didn't realize how much my smoker used. I thought I would have enough. Not sure how people can say they have smoked so much. I have not been able to. It's a great way to try different smokes.
👤These are what I expected. There were undamaged plastic bags. There is a I think there is some confusion about the purpose of the pellets. There is a They are best used to add smoke, not as a source of energy to cook meat. I use a smoker. It has a mechanism to add hardwood chips to the electric element. It has proved to be unsatisfactory. The 12" Stainless Steel Smoker Tube Smoker Box is a great example of how these chips can be used. I put the pellets in the Smoker tube, set the open end on fire with a propane torch, and let them burn for five minutes. After blowing out the flames, I put the smoker tube in the electric smoker to make sure that the meat doesn't get stuck in the pellet. This works well. Only outside use is allowed. Cook at a low and slow temperature. Cheers!
👤My husband got a smoker and started smoking. I bought these for my dad. I know they are a sample pack. They are small. The instructions for how to use these are in the picture. It is done by putting a foil pouch on a grill. I was upset because I thought he could use them with the smoker, if you combine them all that kind of defeats the purpose. A picture of the variety pack next to a regular bag made the difference. It would have been nice for my husband to try different flavors. We know we don't like it. $35 is a bit pricey. I think the flavor is good, we've heard great things about it. Value for money is not good. Warmth is notapplicable for smoking food.
👤I bought the blend at Home Depot. The smell of the pellets is so good. It's real wood, not liquid smoke. The Traeger pellets have oil-based flavors. When I smoked it, it smelled terrible. It's hard to go back to regular pellets once you have quality ones. The flavor pack is great. I can get a few uses out of each bag. I know which flavors I like, so I will order directly from them. These are not fuel pellets. Generic hardwood pellets are "diluted" with these. At first, I was confused about how expensive it was. When I realized how much better this stuff smelled, I was like, "okay, ok." I understand it now.
👤I use the A-maz'n smoker tube to smoke. I put half a cup of my choice in the tube, put them on my grill gate and light them with a propane torch. Blow out the flame after burning for 1-2 minutes. You can put meat, fish, cheese, or nuts on the top shelf of your grill. The pellets will burn for 2 hours and give you a wonderful smoky flavor. It's a great way to get that "low and slow" smoke flavor when you have enough time to grill your meal.
Will not void the manufacturers warranty. Whiskey Barrel and Oak are used in the Tennessee Whiskey Pellets. The Premium Blend uses actual ground down whiskey barrels. It's a strong, sweet smoke flavor and is perfect for red meats. The wood used in their product is from across North America.
👤I was not sold on pellet grills, I was looking to get another burner for smoking. I took a chance because I saw videos of people making items with a pellet grill. Some pellet grills are better than others, but they still lack the ability to sear properly. If you use a different grill type, you won't be able to sear over the entire surface of your grill. A pellet grill can be awesome. I will admit that my Louisiana Grills pellet grill has been consistent in temperature. If you follow the instructions to get to the temperature you want, and keep the pellets in the hopper, it will not maintain that set point. It's better to make good barbecue if you have temperature control. pellet grills are a compromise in this case of convenience for smoke. They have pellet holders for smoking on Amazon, so you can add that extra. You know you're burning that combination with the smoke if you mix them together in my ratio. If possible, I would like to add more wood types. I like other woods for different types of meat and fish. I've never had an issue identifying the wood while the pellet was burning.
👤The bag is on sale for less than the price. I didn't expect much for a 40 pound bag of pellets. The bag was 40.02 pounds and didn't arrive with damage like online purchases. I was surprised. There was not much dust, pellets or smoke. The smoked spatchcock yardbird was outstanding and they fed and burned well in my Camp Chef Pro. I will be watching to see if these pellets go on sale again.
👤The bag seemed to be intact even though the pellets appeared to have been exposed to some sort of substance. The color of the pellets was not as bright. A lot ofsawdust was introduced to the burner and did not feed properly because of the decomposition of the pellets. The second shipment had the same color as the first, but some of the dust was still present, but they seem to feed properly. They replaced the initial order quickly when I reported them. The price of the product is very competitive and I will try again when this batches is used.
👤The first order was received and it was a good smoke. There was more saw dust in the bag than when I bought it. It is to be expected with all the shipping movement. Second order and pellets were spilling out of the box onto my patio before I opened it. The bag was open and mostly smashed to dust when opened. I found two small pieces of plastic mixed in with the pellets. One green and one white, not cool! Returned/exchanging is considered returning. I am not going to take a 40lb bag of pellets and plastic pieces to the store that Amazon wanted. I have ordered Pit Boss before and haven't had this issue, so I will switch back to them.
There is a bag of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. All-Natural Premium Oak mixed with Flavorwood. It guarantees high BTU, clean-burning, and low ash. It's recommended for all pellet-Fired Cookers. It is made in the USA.
👤I think the best smoker pellets are for ribs. They add more of a smokey flavor. The price of ACE hardware is about $10 cheaper.
👤Jack Daniel's Whiskey Barrel need these pellets. I say something else? If you want a hint of charcoal flavor in your pellet smoker, then these pellets are what you need. If I want to add a traditional charcoal taste, I blend them with apple wood or cherry.
👤I enjoy these pellets a lot. Sometimes I mix them with other flavors and sometimes I use them straight. I like to use it for cold smoking with different cheeses, and will be trying it with some chicken soon. Thank you... I've shared it with others and gotten positive feedback.
👤I had to try it because I like drinking it. But wasn't crazy about the price and the smoke flavor. Going forward, we'll stick with Apple and Hickory.
👤We love the flavor of these pellets, but they don't burn well in this bag. They have to be relit constantly. We are not getting consistent smoke from the items we are smoking. They are being used for a cold smoke, so no lighting is needed. We use them in an enclosed outdoor kitchen because they are stored in an air tight, water tight container. It's frustrating to say the least. It was only half way through the bag and we had to throw it away.
👤Some really tasty meat can be made from this. I recommend mixing this with other wood pellet. The flavour can be powerful. I usually mix this with about 50%.
👤These pellets are very powerful. I mixed it with some other traeger pellets and they added a smokey flavor that I don't like with my smoker.
👤I ordered 2 bags for the 4th. It made the ribs taste good. I found it for half the price on other sites. Lesson learned. I won't order from this seller again.
👤Aber teuer. Ihren testen gekauft!
It is made in the USA. The ULTIMATE 8-in-1 includes a barbecue wood fire pellet grill. There isn't an easier way to get wood-smoked flavors than with a pellet grill. Try it, and you'll be able to tell the difference. Z Grills pellet grills will do all the work for you once you set the temperature. There was no labor-intensive start-up. No one is babysitting the grill. Enjoy the food! Consistent results are achieved every time with the PID technology. The pellet grill has a temperature range of 180 to 450 F and can be used to grill, smoke, bake, roast, sear, and barbecue. The 450A is perfect for small households and features . In the kitchen, you can make big flavors into your food. It's built to last. The pellet grill is made of sturdy steel and has a high-temperature powder coating finish. The 15 lbs large-capacity pellet Hopper offers longer cooking time, eliminating the need to refill the hopper constantly.
👤It's not bad to put it together. There were problems on start-up. It says to put it on Hi on the first break-in. The unit shut off for safety. That is scarey. I got support from ZGrills. I was told by a nice young girl that the unit would adjust. It didn't. The unit went from 300 to 400 by the time I cooked it at Smoke. I don't have a way to measure their light intensity. A guy is replacing my gas grill. If there is a solution, I will contact their support again. There is a I contacted ZGrills after many attempts. They said they would give me a refund. I will review this process further if they do. That would be great. .... I contacted Amazon a long time ago. They said they would contact ZGrills, but they wouldn't answer their phone. Nothing from them after 6 hours. When someone finally stands behind their product, I will update this. Don't buy this grill until then. Is that correct? As of August 7th. Nothing from Amazon or ZGrills. I called ZGrills again and they promised a refund. If their customer service is correct, I will update this.
👤I bought a grill about six months ago. I got the newer model thinking it had solved some of their issues. The temp control unit has been a problem, as the temperatures have been off by 50 degrees or more, and the pellet hopper doesn't feed properly, causing the grill to stall. I called the support of the grills. They haven't been very helpful. I was told to stir the pellets so they wouldn't stall. Is it possible that I will stand their all day?
👤I was attracted to the cute look of Z Grills ZPG-450A and decided to click on it. I was annoyed with my old grill since it's slow and hard to clean. Z Grills uses the 'Wood fire' technology to reach target temperature very quickly. The grease does not build up for the sake of the grease collector. The smoker can be moved around in my yard with the help of the wheels. It took me only one hour to install this machine, with all the tools in the box. I tried salmon and lamb. It works well. The meat was tender and had a sweet flavor. There is a It's time to say goodbye to my grill.
👤I only had this for a week, but I am very happy with it. I was hesitant to buy a smoker. I returned a Traeger I bought five years ago because it couldn't get hot enough to cook meat the way I wanted it. I had to keep it because I received it as a birthday present. I got it the day before. It is not an easy snap together job, but the instructions are clear and the packaging is good. The most difficult part of assembly was removing the parts from the packaging. The startup procedure and the precautions were a bit concerning and intimidating, but I was patient and followed them closely. All pieces fit perfectly, there was one extra screw, and everything went very smoothly. All was second nature by the third time I used it. The food is the best part. I bought 20 pounds of Oak pellets. I see no reason that any flavor wood wouldn't work, even though I have only used that type so far. I plan to use other types in the future. I smoked a ham for Easter. I found a Traeger recipe online and used it to make a pineapple glaze. It's so easy. Set the temperature and let it smoke, open it every ten minutes or so to mop up some more glaze. The sweet flavor was delicious. I read that the temperature variations on the ZGrills were too wild, but I don't think they matter. They center around the desired temp, and of course they will vary and take time to correct just because of the lag time for feeding and igniting the pellets. The heat transfer rate smooths the air temperature. The big ham was done perfectly. Papa Murphy's was the other extreme I have cooked. I turned the temp to max after starting. I put the pizza on the paper tray after the grill reached 450 degrees. After about five minutes, I turned the temp down to 400 because the pizza instructions were to cook at 400. I checked for bubbles in the crust after ten minutes but there were no bubbles. I let the pizza cook for 8 more minutes after rotating it 90 degrees. We are at 4,000 feet, so cooking anything takes about 10% longer than at sea level. The pizza was crisp and brown, the smoke infused made it better than I expected, and the company loved it! Don't even think about it! This grill is for sale.
There is no need to worry about the lifespan of Eco Firestarters. They will work perfectly every time, even if you have had them for a long time. There is a fire in the wood. The flavors of maple, cherry, and hickory combine for in their Traeger Signature Blend Hardwood Pellets for flavor that can take on just about anything you cook, from BBQ meats to fish and veggies. The best wood-fired grill on the market requires the best wood pellets on the market. It starts with all-natural hardwood pellets made in American mills, which are tied to quality materials and achieving perfect smoke. The perfect honeybee has been developed by Traeger for years. Traeger has spent years mastering the development of hardwood pellets that have just the right amount of moisture content to maintain a perfect burn-to-smoke ratio. Pairs. Pairs well with beef, poultry, pork, lamb, seafood, baked goods, vegetables. Premium Quality, All-Natural, Clean Burn, No Binders, Low Ash, 20lb Bag are features. Selecting the pellet + rub option pairs their recommended Traeger spice rub to each wood pellet flavor.
👤I would like to give a zero stars rating to these pellets. These are the worst pellet you can use for smoking on a pellet grill. They don't tell you there is no Mesquite wood in their pellets. None of the flavors have that type of wood in them. They use a base of alder and then treat the pellets with oils to make them taste good. I spent hundreds of dollars on Traeger pellets and I felt stupid when I found out. I could not believe the difference when I found the pellets. The meat coming out of the grill was better. I use a brand called Lumberjack that is 100% mesquite and you can spend a few extra dollars to find it. If it doesn't say 100%, you are getting less than you want.
👤If you read up on them, they may be hardwood, but not the aromatic species advertised. I sent all of it back. Be aware. The lumberjack pellet is better.
👤I have had bad luck buying the blend pellets twice. I bought from both Amazon and Costco. The pellets have turned to dust in the hopper and caused problems with the grill. I have never had the other pellets break down like this. I will avoid the blend variety from now on.
👤The pellets smelled old when we opened the bag. The bag that we got was years old and had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. We tried to use them in the smoker to see how they burned, thinking we'd smell that wood flavor once they lit. Nope. There was no smell at all. Completely useless. We emptied the bag and threw it away.
👤You read the label and think you are getting 100% natural hardwood, but you are wrong. Guess again. Traeger uses cheap oak or alder wood and then adds oils to give it a flavor that is supposed to be on the label. I don't know how these oils don't count as unnatural. I wish the consumers win the class action lawsuit that Traeger has been hit with. The difference is night and day when you try those and real mesquite. Do not support a dishonest company.
👤The pellets are made of CRAP. We used Traegers Hickory Pellots from Costco and had no issues. We bought the apple wood through Amazon. The traeger caught fire. It was frightening. The pellots look like cheap pressed wood that you find in old kitchen cabinets. The size of the pellot is not even and I think it poses a problem in the burning processed. They turned into wood dust when they were put into the hopper. The smoke coming out of the hopper is not normal. After removing the meat from the traeger, my husband and I found what we believed to be the problem. There was a full layer of sawdust inside the covered hopper. That didn't catch on fire. We won't be using them again. It was a big waste of money. I finished the turkey in the oven. It was a big disappointment.
The real cocaine is real. Royal Oak 100 Percent Real Hardwood Charcoal Pellets are great for grilling or smoking. The delicious, smoky flavor of real barbecue can be found in the real hardwood that is used. For any drill. You can use your favorite brand on a pellet grill, and still get that real barbecue flavor. Water retention is a problem. It's easy to clean with pliches because they are resistant to water and do not cause problems. You crave authentic barbecue when the temperature is high.
👤These are the best I have used. I have tried all of the ones from Lowe's and HD carry. The royal oak pellets are great. They burn at a more consistent temperature and produce more smoke. smoked a pork butt, some chickens, and a pot roast.
👤It claims to work with pellet grills. It doesn't. My Weber wouldn't go further after he gave a low fuel error message. The fuel sensor is light based and black throws it off. That was a huge benefit. The smell of burning garbage, burning plastic, and hot roofing tar came from the pellets that did burn. It was a putrid sensation. The smell of burning charcoal is similar to burning wood or pellets. The stuff smells terrible. If it had worked, I might have been tempted to cook with it, but we wouldn't have had much for Christmas dinner.
👤I thought it would be similar to lump charcoal when I grilled some chicken. I'll stick to their charcoal when grilling because it maintains heat but doesn't have much flavor.
👤They look nice. They are water resistant. The smoke flavor is neutral. It is difficult to get them lit in a smoke tube. It burns a little too clean, but it's a nice idea. The flavor is almost imperceptibly mild.
👤The shipping was terrible, but I can't complain about the product. The bag was torn open and retaped in a poor fashion when it arrived in a beaten up box. There are pheles inside the box. This was a gift for my son.
👤It is not worth the price.
👤This put out was great.
The natural sweet aroma is not what makes it work. Apple Wood Chips for Smoking is included in Fruit Firewood for Cooking because you should finish off your dish with a sprinkle of Apple Wood Chips after grilling it for just the right amount of time. There is an extra long burn time. With 10 minutes of burn time, you have plenty of time to light your fire. You can get the Friendly Flame Eco Firestarter going with a lighter or match, and you will have a few minutes to burn. Whether you are camping, cooking, or backpacking, there are multiple use applications. They have you covered. Eco Firestarters are great for campfires, fireplaces, BBQs, charcoal grills, and outdoor pizza ovens. Adding a few firestarters to your survival kit will give you a little more peace of mind. The firestarters are water resistant and can even burn when wet. It is made from only mixed conifers from well-managed forests. They smell great and have no harmful chemicals. There is no need to worry about the lifespan of Eco Firestarters. They will work perfectly every time, even if you have had them for a long time.
👤It works great to start a charcoal chimney for the Weber grill or to start a smoking tube for my pellet grill. Highly recommend because of ease of use.
👤These were bought to help create a safe way to start fires. They work very well and are easy to use. I love using them and recommend them.
👤The pizza oven lit up quickly.
👤It was easy to start a fire in our solo stove with these. Really pleased.
👤Excellent product! It is simple to use. I don't smell or taste lighter fluid when I grill. Will buy again.
👤The outdoor firepit can be a challenge. It's hard to get going when it's smoky. Friendly Flame Eco Firestarters made it easier to do things. There's no smell, no smoke and it worked quickly. In the past I cheated with torch fluid, but now I don't have to. I will buy this product again.
👤The product works better than expected. It is so easy to use. You get a whole bag of starter and one that lights the fire. Great product!
Pairs well with meat and poultry. The Kona best BBQ smoking pellets variety pack provides an outstanding variety of flavors for an entire grilling season. Only 1/3 to 1/2 cup is required per use. Premium firewoods have 8 lbs of total weight. There are Sweet Maple, Hickory, and Cherry. Kona Sweetwood Blend is made from Sweet Maple, beech, and cherry. Supreme blend, cherry, Apple, Mesquite. All natural is Sustainablysourced. No artificial flavors. Sprinkle directly onto charcoal before grilling if you add a Kona Smoker Tube. You will not be disappointed if you go to the next level. You can add to the cart now.
👤This was the best sample I could find and I would have liked to have had a sample with actual woods. The woods and mixes were good. The mixes became mixed mixes because of the high price and the busted little bags. Overall, they were good.
👤My son is in Houston. The smoke and smell of the pellets were very pleasant for him. He likes to use the pellets with the Charcoal Manager.
👤When I ordered this, I was excited. I didn't know how much burn time I would get out of the pellet grill I purchased, because I didn't know how long it would take. The sample sizes are small even though the pellets have a decent burn time. I had to use extra bags on some spare ribs because I was trying to go slow. When I tried burgers, I had to add an extra bag to get the true flavor because I needed my temp higher. The sample sizes are pointless because this is a good company that puts out a decent product.
👤I read the product description poorly. These are too small to be of much use in a pellet grill. I added them to my other pellets.
👤It is easy to smoke or grill with these pellets. The results are good. There is a There is a wide variety of wood pellet choices, from fruity to favorites like Mesquite and Hickory. I will purchase again.
👤They smoked a lot but it was dirty smoke. They were in a smoker tube for about four hours. The smoke was not as good as using wood chunks.
