Less time cooking. EATING: Are people coming over and want bacon that is consistent and delicious? The signature iron grill press from Bellemain is 8.25 inches in diameter and presses down on your favorite thin meats to make them cook faster and more evenly. The Lodge Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Grill Press has a Spiral Handle. A comfortable grip is provided by the Spiral Handle. The heat retention and heating is unparalleled. You can use it in the oven, on the stove, or over a campfire. It's great for induction cooktops. The item shape is rectangular.
👤I gave up bacon. I use both of them as door stops. They work better than anything else I've tried. They don't scratch the floor. They hold my door with ease when the crosswind picks up.
👤I hate bacon that Curls up when cooking so I bought this to do it. The hardware left the handle loose in all the reviews. I was prepared to buy replacement hardware at the store, but it was not needed. I think the problem people are having is that the nuts included do not go on smoothly, I think the hardware included works well and they should go on smoothly. Think of the nuts as lock nuts, they are corse threaded and do not go on smoothly, this is done to keep them secure and not subject to loosen over time. You will need a wrench or crescent to tighten them, it will take some effort and can be awkward, and you will need a good screwdriver that fills the slot since it will take some force to tighten them properly. There is a The bottom is not perfect, but it is a bit rough, and what you would expect of a cast iron product. The total weight was more than 2 lbs. Keeping the food down on the pan is a good way to ensure long life. You will need to keep it seasoned, but if you want to use it without first washing it, you will need to season it every so often. There is a This does the job I wanted it to do, it will last a lifetime, the handle keeps cool in my useage, and it performs as expected, even if you leave it on a high heat for a long time. Good for your needs.
👤The press is advertised as a way to keep bacon from curling. The size of the press is too small to cover strips of bacon, so I'm not sure it is the best use of it. I used it to press and grill Cuban sandwiches. I have a nice panini press which is used a lot, but it has elevated grill sections so doesn't press the whole sandwich down as is preferred when pressing a Cuban sandwich. The bread should be pressed down and grilled. I had been using heavy sauce pans on top of the sandwich in a skillet, but it was too unstable. This item takes care of that issue. It's easy to press down while heating because it sits on top. Since I love Cuban sandwiches and use it often, it will be the only thing I use it for. Many reviewers had problems attaching the handle to the press because of screws that protruded too far from the bottom. I did not have those issues, the handle was easy to attach and there was no screw heads. It seems sturdy. Reviewers cited rust. I will keep this wiped off so as to minimize the risk of rust developing, since I only used this twice. The press works as I had hoped. The handle didn't get too hot to hold at all and didn't need a pot holder. I'm happy I bought it.
Cooks both sides of meat. The heavy duty bacon press will allow you to cook your bacon without fear. You can get the perfect crisp with your bacon in half the time. Measures approximately 7 Inches diameter x 2.5 Inches height with a 6 Inches long handle. It can be used for many other foods. The handle is made of heavy cast iron and smooth. A great tool to have in the kitchen. A real estate seller. Evelots has provided unique products with a 30-day easy return policy for years.
👤This works well to keep bacon flat. The design of the handle is the reason for dropping the fifth star. The cylinder is held on by two screws, one at each end, and it is parallel to the ridges on the bacon side. When I tilt the press to drain the grease from the grooves between those ridges, the handle on the mounting screws moves, defeating my draining efforts. The manufacturer tried to prevent this in the design, but the execution was not up to par.
👤I'm glad I finally got to try one of these, I've always wanted to. It works well for what it was designed to do. This works well to keep my bacon flat. It is large enough to help keep grease splatter down. I use it on ham to keep it flat so there is no bubble in the middle. I've used it on pork chops and hamburgers. I plan to use it on grilled sandwiches as well. It is very sturdy and well made. It is easy to clean.
👤This is one of the things I love about my tiny kitchen, it has high admission standards. I use an electric panini press more often than I use the electric one because it gives me more surface contact for veggies. If you don't use oils, it's helpful to crisp up food and keep it from drying out in the middle. If you want to flatten it, you can push it down as much as you want. The wood handle has a nice solid heft and the round shape fits inside a skillet. I don't think they would work for me. I might have let it go in favor of just this, even though my electric panini press folds up and stores pretty compactly.
👤It's a great addition to my griddle tools. It's great to make smash burgers and chops to keep them flat. Buy a tool or junk multiple times. If you love your flat top and iron skillet, this is a must have. If you don't have an iron skillet or flat top, you should get the program. Get one of these. This is a must have tool for the griddle. Highly recommended!
👤I had a small one. It didn't fit my pan. There is a I ordered this one. And it fits perfectly. I followed the instructions to cure it. The real purpose for the weight was not realized by me. I bought it for my bacon, and heating up the weight before cooking makes sure that the food cooks on both sides at the same time. Excellent product.
👤It is not easy to clean cast iron. There is a Warm it up before using it to press, that way the food doesn't stick to it as much. There is a Follow the directions to season the press. There is a Would I buy it again? Oh ye!
👤If you hate bacon to cook unevenly, you'll love this kitchen tool. It's easy to clean. It is made of cast iron, so you need to season it before use. It must be cleaned and oiled after use because it will rust. It's round and a bit small, so I reduced it to one star. American bacon is usually long out of the package, and will curl up outside the press. It's fine for hamburgers and grilled sandwiches.

They work hard to make sure that their products are the best on the market, and hope that they meet your satisfaction.
👤They are very good. I don't use any of the press I have ever bought. These work well and don't bother you. Thank you so much!
👤The rust is out of the equation. The combination of cast iron and bacon press is a winner.
👤Well made and has good weight. The coating is ceramic. There is a The handle could be a quarter inch taller. I grabbed the handle and my knuckle got hot. The clearance isn't enough. The wooden handle gets very hot, not sure why. I wouldn't get this if I had large hands. I wrap a small towel on the handle to sear it.
👤My husband likes this. He used it for the first time and was amazed at how quickly and evenly the bacon was cooked. I said that the clean-up was easy.
👤I used the press to grill the cutlets in my grill pan. The cutlets had great grill marks. I had restaurant quality food in my kitchen. It is the perfect size for my pan and it has a nice weight, would definitely recommend it to others.
👤The product is too expensive. There are bumps on it that look like they came from a furnace. If you don't know what it is, it's a waste of time. Can't trust what they are. Returning.
👤I'm used to pressing burgers with flat spatulas, which is fine, but often can be broken up or stuck to the spatula, and only pressing with heat on one side. The ridges keep a grill effect and can be heated up and crush burger flat. I've been cooking with American Wagyu that is very fat. I need to get rid of the fat. This worked well. Good weight, wooden handle, Rust-proof... Everything I need. I'm sure it will be easy to make bacon but burgers are A+.
👤I got this for my kitchen, a real quality grill press, heavy duty, love the part that it's enameled, did a great job, and last of all the great price.
👤This item has been used many times by me. It was easy to clean and I was very pleased with the performance.
👤I recommend this bacon press because it's easy to clean up and it's easy to cook.

The jim beam signature iron grill press makes it easier to cook thin meats and makes them cook faster and more evenly.
👤It has a nice weight and does the job. However. After washing, the groves on the back are hard to dry. When you try to dry it off, it stays in the corners. There is a lot of rust in those channels after a few days of use. The groves on the back of my house are a pain to dry off, but they are what keep the water in it. It's not a deal breaker as the surface rust is on the back of the car where it's not being used. It will be difficult to remove the rust when trying to reseason because the channels are so narrow.
👤I was surprised by the quality. Lodge cast iron is what I usually stick to. Between good reviews and a great price point, I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. It is large enough to handle most steaks, but not large enough to handle most steaks. My husband likes the Jim Beam logo. He said that it makes it a manly tool. That's right! The Jim Beam steam cover was also purchased by me. It's a great set.
👤I now know why I couldn't find one of these at a second hand store.
👤I'm a big fan of CI. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this. I bought it at the store. Prepared and ready to go. I gave this to my guy because he asked for a few smaller things instead of a large gift. It's safe on the outdoor gas grill with the coil handle. The hamburgers will be great this summer. I will purchase another for myself if I didn't buy 2 at the price.
👤A lot of the others at the same price point looked cheap, but this is actually a quality piece of metal and iron. Don't forget to dry it before it's well seasoned or you'll be stuck trying to get the rust out from the grooves on top.
👤Excellent! It looks great and is perfect for its purpose. If I could cook as well as this works, I would knock them off the air. You need 1 of these if you own a flat top griddle. It makes all meals taste better.
👤It is very well made, but you have to watch for rust. Keep cooking oil in a container. I would buy it again.
👤I like this grill press the most because the handle is not wooden. It works well. I don't wash it with soap or water because it is cast iron and I let the grill cook everything off.
👤I love this press. The cast iron is heavy. I love the size of it and the quality of it. It works well in my cast iron frying pans, on the BBQ, and on the campsite fire pit. There is a I have heard other people complain that the top was getting rusty after washing. It's "Cast Iron" people. If you're going to get it wet, you have to sit it on an element and dry it out completely or it will rust. I give this purchase 5 stars.
Simple and easy to clean- wipe dry. The wood handle is comfortable. The cast iron press weights are 2.6 pound. The vegetable oil is ready for immediate use. The water of the bacon press should be wiped after use. Grill Press can be used on many surfaces. It can be used on a variety of cooking equipment. It will make your meat cook faster by removing unwanted fats from it. It helps to prevent bacon from curling. It will help the meat cook more evenly. If the bacon press you receive has any quality problems, please contact them in time, they will make sure you get the best solution, and provide a free replacement after-sales service for their dear customers. The burger press are smeared with lightly oil for proper care.
👤I already have a rectangle press, but I really wanted one that I could use in my round skillets, and that one doesn't work. I looked at all the possibilities for round ones. I chose this one because it is the right size and it comes pre-seasoned. When I use this press, I like to use it for things like hashbrowns. I cook chicken breasts that are frozen and breaded and I want to crisp them off after they come out of the oven, so I use it for that. I haven't even begun to think about what I will use it for. I know I will enjoy exploring the possibilities. The pre-seasoning is great because I have had no rust and I have washed it many times. I dry it right away when I wash it. The easiest way to wash it is with a brush, and I use soap on it. The seasoning is staying put. Which should happen when something is seasoned. Contrary to popular belief, soap shouldn't remove seasoning. I am very happy with the choice I made and I would do it again.
👤Even if it's thick cut bacon, this press won't press it in a 6.5 cast iron skillet. Any food that has a thickness of 1/3 inch can be pressed and cooked with this press. You can use it if you keep bacon from turning to mush. The press has a nice ridge. The ridges are not parallel to the handle. It is difficult to hold when lifting the press to drain grease. The prices of cast iron are ridiculous. If the pricing was not for the Pandemic, I wouldn't have considered this.
👤They trimmed the handle so that it covers the end of the handle supports and that makes it look nicer. When you lower the press over your food, the screws don't hold it securely, so it rotates. We added 3M 5200 caulking to the ends and the handle is no longer rotating as I use it. Sometimes it's more important to have something than it is to look at it. I'm happy that the rotation issue has been solved. Good quality!
👤I mostly use this press to smash burgers. If you heat it before you use it, it will give you nice grill marks.
👤It works perfectly when you fit a lodge 8” iron skillet. The handle is a little rough.
👤This is a nice one. Can't imagine it being used on burgers. It's great for making fried bologna. This one is easy to clean.
👤The press is large enough for small pans. It has a lot of heavy and flat foods. The use of flat head wood screws is the only complaint I have. There is a small gap between the flat head screws and the press. It's a small thing when cleaning. The first press I received was damaged, but had a flat head and pan head screw. I only wash it by hand.
👤Overall, very good quality. Good for use on grilled sandwiches.
It is easy to use and clean; wash your hands with warm soapy water. It is possible to make cast iron for pressing out unwanted fats. Grill marks are produced by thick grooves. The handle is stay-cool for a safe grip. Cooks both sides of meat.
👤I was really looking forward to this. I got a bad impression when I opened the box. The packaging was slightly ripped and there was Rust on the side of it. As I opened the box, I saw this. I received it in the mail today. There is a gap between the handle and the iron and the screw on the same side is loose. The handle is not firm when you push it down. It looks like the cast iron is built well. I did not get a good item when I ordered it. I want to show the flaws in the photos. It seems to be a good cast iron. I am not looking forward to using it because of the issues that come out of the box.
👤I thought the handle was supposed to be stationary when I got the press. When I first picked it up, it swung and burned my arm. The manufacturer needs to work on this because I addedwashers to make the fit tight rather than returning it. Pictures of my arm were attached.
👤I don't really like it, but I should give it 5 stars. It does what it should and I like it a lot. The construction is the best I could find. There is a The handle doesn't get hot. The hole for the thermometer is a waste. I can't see people using it. It's a hole to let juices flow through and make a mess. I can't think of a situation where this hole would be valuable. There is a I'm not sure I like it, but it's not a big deal. Would prefer a flatter surface. There is a It's the right size, fits pans better than any of the rectangular ones I initially sought, and works really well without burning your hand. There is a I would buy it again if I lost it. It's the same thing. It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's the same thing. Update is what it is. It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing The grid/grate on the bottom is more useful than first thought. If this were flat or smaller grids, the grease would run down onto the stove top when I took it out of the pan. This doesn't happen because of the ridges in the grate. There is a This is a big problem when reading other reviews. Not here. I was bumped from 4.5 to 4.0 stars. Plug the T hole and we'll have a full 5.0.
👤We used the brick for various cooking techniques before buying the iron press. We saw this press on a cooking show and thought it looked better and less Ghetto. This is the best grill press we have ever purchased. It was very well made and heavy duty. We use this for making sourdough bread sandwiches. The Press is less than 100 BU. The cast iron press is the best value we have tried. If we don't like press, we give it to someone else. I will buy for Christmas presents for this press, which is staying here.
The digital kitchen scale requires two batteries to power it. If it isn't operated for 120 seconds, it will auto off. If there is a problem with the scale, please contact them. The ultimate burger making tool. Makes stuffed burgers and regular burgers.
👤Basic design is fine, however the diameter is too small. The designers have never cooked a burger. The press's inside diameter is 4 inches. They come out close to the size of a slider when you cook them. I can't imagine how small their size would be. Maybe silver dollar size? The design is fine, but the dimensions should be larger. I'm sending it back. The bun in the attached photo is a standard white bread 3-3/4" bun.
👤After searching for a burger press to make vegan bean and vegetable burgers, I tried the Cave Tools Square Bubba Sized Burger Maker and the Prep Solutions Patty Press. I decided to try it. This seems to fit my needs perfectly. I haven't tried stuffing my burgers, but this is the perfect thickness for a burger and fits a bun well. It works best if you line the paper before pressing. It is easy to use and clean. Highly recommended! There are vegan taco burgers with chickpeas. 1 can black beans, 1 can Panko breadcrumbs, 1 can red onion, 1 can corn, 1 can jalapenos, 1 cup quick rolled oats, and 1 tb brown mustard. Adobo Arizona is a dream. To taste the taco salt and pepper, form patties. If the mix is too wet, add more oats, breadcrumbs, or cornmeal before it forms. Cook on a grill, griddle, or non-stick skillet at 400F for 10-13 minutes each side. On a whole wheat bun, top with salsa, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and Just Garlic mayo.
👤The device has a poor design. There is no pressure for the sliders while a mold is included. The mold for the sliders is slightly larger than the mold for the regular burgers, for some inexplicable reason. I don't understand the decision. The instructions say to press the patties by hand. I wouldn't have bought a device for that. There is a Maybe I'm overreacting by giving it a star. There is no mention of the sliders needing to be pressed by hand after reading the description. The video was edited to make it appear that the sliders need to be pressed. The opposite appears to be implied by only showing the flat side of the finished slider. I feel they were deceptive. I'll return the plastic lie and look for a combo that has a press.
👤I had a package of hamburger ready to go. I used an ice cream scoop for each burger. I put the wrap in the bottom and then put the other end over the burger to press it. Put them in the freezer after they are wrapped. The press was clean when I finished and I didn't get my hands in the hamburger. The package took about ten minutes to complete. A great little device.
👤Poor reviews on similar products and positive feedback for this item made us choose this item. The item lives up to the reviews. The press seemed easy to clean, but I had to put the burger in the cup before I could clean it. I put a second layer of plastic wrap over the ground beef. I used a second patty of about 2 1/2 ounces which I pre-formed and placed on top, then covered with plastic wrap and pressed to seal. I used plastic wrap to keep the burgers clean. The burgers were great. I bought a second one as a gift. Can't wait to try different types of cheese next...
It's perfect size and safe. Material-- There are 2 mats in the set, which are 47 inches and 17 inches in width. The KMAT kitchen mats are made of premium material that is odor-free, latex-free, and phathalate-free. Premium strength material is used to build the mats to ensure they will keep their shape even with extended and heavy use. Iron construction is CAST IRON CONSTRUCTION. The cast iron press is 8 pounds. The wooden handle has a stylish touch. HEALTHY GRILLING Excess fat and oils from meats should be pressed out. RILL MARKS: Grill marks can be added to any meat. Great for salads. You can make delicious sandwiches on the griddle. Easy clean up. After washing, wash and dry your hands.
👤The smash burger press was purchased by me. The ridges on the sides would make this a perfect product. It is useless for thin smash burgers. It makes it so you can only get a small patty. Returning it.
👤Excellent press. It needs to be seasoned. It wasn't season it well. Don't believe the reviews that say it's rusty. Unless you dry it with a towel or cloth, it is cast iron. You cannot leave cast iron to dry. Water and a sponge is the proper cleaning method. Kosher salt can be used to scrub. You will never have a rust issue if you rinse and towel dry. This is a heavy press and well built. It isn't a griswold so don't expect the best but a great press.
👤I have two issues with this model, being a relatively simple product with no real fail points. One of them being my fault mostly for not measuring exactly, but also an oversight. The press is too long to fit in a skillet. There's just barely enough of a lip that the press doesn't fit flat on the standard cast iron 2 pack of LL skillets. I've thought about using a torch to round the edges. There is a The wood handle is carved and fitted in a way that it rotates. I didn't find anything in the description that said this was a feature, but finishing a steak with the handle pressed firmly to catch the edge of the iron is unpleasant.
👤We've used this many times for homemade smashburgers, and this does the job. I cover the meatballs with wax paper and then press down on them to make them metal on metal. It is easier if the meat is not in the fridge. There is a For comparison, an audio cd is just over 4. I think the depth is where it needs to be. If I use 1/3lb of beef, they shrink up while cooking, but if I stick with 1/3lb, this tool spreads it out nice, wide, and thin. I use a lean ground chuck. There is a The burger will stick to a seasoned griddle if done right. The first flip will require a wide, chiseled spatula.
👤This needs to be straight on the bottom. This is not a smasher. There is a The space under the patties isn't small enough to smash them. If you want regular burgers, but want a smashburger with a crisp crust, you have to be able to smash it closer to half the thickness that this press allows.
👤There is a conspiracy. There is a hamburger buns got smaller as burger patties got bigger. I can buy 8oz. All the hamburger buns are about 3 1/2. I wanted to make big burgers. I didn't want a big patty. There is a This is it! The cast iron is 6+ inches across. The winner. Wonder makes jumbo buns.
👤The kit was in a box. The cast iron press has substance to it and is heavy with an inner diameter of about 6 inches. The spatula is made of good quality steel. The quality of the steel used in the shaker is good. It will make burger seasoning easier. The wax papers look and feel good, with a good amount of wax on them to prevent burgers from sticking during the flattening process. A well made and affordable product from Cuisinart. Can't wait to try it on the grill.
The length is 9 1/2 inches and the width is 5 1/2 inches. High quality steel. The burger press is made of brushed STAINLESS STEEL. The round grip handle use laser welding technology, which will not become loose over time, and it can stay firm for a long time. Reducing cooking time is something that should be done. It's much easier to use a spatula than a griddle, and you can exert pressure to make food complete cooking faster, while adding a unique flavor, press out the grease for healthy cooking. A smooth bottom of the smashed burger press can help you get a burger of uniform thickness. It's easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The burger press can smash the burger patties and sear the bottom into a caramelized shell that seals in the juices. It's perfect for grilling outdoors. It's also good for grilling bacon, grilled cheese, and other items on a stove top pan. The burger smasher is a great gift for lovers of smashed burgers and grilling. A good kitchen tool.
👤Pot metal is cheap. Not impressed at all. It looks like it was cut with tin snips. The body is not completely round and the grinder marks are on the bottom. There are a lot of sharp edges. This piece of garbage is magnetic.
👤I have made Smash burgers 3 or 4 times. I would have liked something more restaurant use type. It is round and not rectangular. I am happy with the purchase. It is easy to toss in the dishwasher because the handle stays cool. I would recommend.
👤When I bought my griddle, I bought another burger press. It's a heavy press. I can't get a good smash on the burger because it has a lip around it. The unit is flat and does not have a lip. I can smash the burger as thin as I want. The whole reason for this press was that. I wanted something for thin patties. This has worked well so far. It is easy to clean. I haven't been able to verify it's longevity, so I gave it 4 stars. It seems pretty decent made. Looking forward to more smashing.
👤It works great, it's the perfect size and replicates a Freddy's burger. I haven't had a regular burger in about a month. Its very easy to clean, it's very stout, can take a lot of pressure without bending, but it's not going to fit in most drawers, and the handle can get very hot.
👤We wanted to make our burgers a little more crisp. This worked out the trick. It was easy to make them very flat. I don't think it's necessary to use paper between the meat and the press.
👤This is something that I love. Smashes a hamburger patty. The patty is large in a pan, but the trade-off is that it cooks faster. I oil the pan, heat it, drop a ball of ground-beef in, and then flatten it with the press and leave it. After a few minutes, the patty sticks but it falls off. I can flip it with a spatula. Can do 2 smaller patties at a time.
👤This works perfectly on our griddle, we bought this to flatten out burgers. It holds up to pressure and is well made. It's easy to clean up by putting in the dishwasher.
👤We like to cook burgers on the outdoor griddle. This is very easy to get a patty. I chose this one because it was large. It is not heavy like the cast iron presses and has a nice flat bottom. I did not want one with grooves. It seems very strong. It is easy to clean.
👤This is a great tool for making burgers. I recommend using a piece of paper between the patty and the smasher to keep it from sticking to the meat.
A heavy duty meat press is great for bacon beef burgers poultry flatbreads grilled sandwiches and more. HIC Kitchen has a Cast Iron bacon press that flattens bacon to prevent it from curling and shrinking. Made from cast iron with a wooden handle; distributes heat evenly; and preheats for faster cooking time. It's easy to season before use; wash and dry thoroughly, coat the pan, and press lightly with cooking oil, heat the pan on low for 20 minutes. When making cheese, thick yogurt, and more, press out the whey when making it. It is easy to use and clean; wash your hands with warm soapy water.
👤I like it and dislike it. I used to use it for a while now. I like it with bacon. It allows it to cook quickly and evenly. I use it with my cast iron skillet and other things. I use it more than I thought. I didn't know that I would like such a thing as much as I do. I go to clean it. It is impossible. They should have put the pig on the top. There is a picture. You can not clean, dry, or season it. I will either throw it away or return it and get a flat bottom one. I forgot to mention it. It rusts because you can't really clean it and season it. The rust transfers to your food. You can't remove the rust because of the pig relief.
👤It should have been a year ago that bacon, sausage, burgers, chicken, all cooks faster and more evenly. I recommend wrapping it in heavy duty foil or placing foil between it and what you're cooking to make it easier to clean. Don't let air dry, rinse and wipe dry if it cools down.
👤Does a great job. It is unseasoned cast iron and needs to be seasoned. There are two ways to do this. Put some oil in the pan with the press and put some oil on the top as well. For an hour or more, heat medium-low. You can remove the wooden handle and put it in the oven. If you wash it after use, make sure you dry it and recoat it with oil. Canola Oil is what I use. It's good for high temperature and natural flavor. I use an aluminum pie pan and a paper plate on top of it to keep the press from rusting.
👤My husband said to be careful what you wish for, "We should have a bacon press". He got a press with a country-pig theme. I don't have rectangular fry pans. This is quite a conversation piece. The pig is cute. Nice price too.
👤At 1 lbs. 8oz. It's not heavy enough for a good smashburger. The quality is not good. I'll probably take the handle off and burn it off on the grill because there's some sort of wax or plastic stuck on one corner. The edges are not square and had little attention to finish. The handle is not centered, but it works well. The design of the pig complicates cleaning. I paid $6.29 for it, so I suppose that's reasonable. It is an easy pass at $12.
