👤I was surprised to see that the bottom of this pan is made of aluminum, but not the regular GOTHAM bottom, as my other pans have. I'm worried if this is the real thing. The package I received was in cardboard that said "As seen on TV", but my other pans have the familiar silver colored ring on the bottom. I am curious if this is what other people have received. This wasn't what I expected. The packaging was thrown away. I will be more careful in the future. I would like to know that this is the real thing.
👤Non-stick is a topic of debate. Almost a year ago, I bought pot. It's used almost everyday. I always use wooden or Silicon utensils, so there are no scratches. The good news was that. There is a The good news is that the pan came with a form. I should have returned the pan right there and then because it should have been a warning that there were problems with the claims made by the manufacturer. There is a The pan started sticking after a month. It was the same pan as any other cheaper one. I still use it. I wouldn't buy another product from that manufacturer. There is a The best performances happen when you boil the water. 6/12/2018. It was thrown in the garbage. I give it a black hole because there are no zero stars available.
👤This is a good pot. I replaced a popular-name-brand pot that was part of a set. Had I known? I didn't know what a pain it was until I tried to pour something from one of the pots. Lesson learned! Never buy pots that curve inward. The pot is light enough to be manageable and heavy enough to not warp. I use it to make pasta, soup, and applesauce. It cleans up well, and so far it doesn't show signs of wear. I've been very pleased with it.
👤Despite careful handling and hand washing the pot, the quality started to degrade in a very short time, now the food sticks to the bottom and all of a sudden there are visible lines and scratches. This item does not have a warranty and Amazon customer service did not offer a solution other than calling the manufacturer. I used to love the service, but recently it has not been helpful with my order issues, so I am rethinking my membership.
👤It gets worse every time I use it. Everything from veggies to meat. I have to scrub it to get the food off the bottom after I use it. I am done with this product, it is not worth the money. If I can't get a refund, I'll throw it away. When I cook some veggies, they burn and stick, and as hard as I try, those spots wouldn't clean, and it just keeps getting worse. I fried up a burger and there were some stick spots on the bottom, but I let it soak for an hour and got most of it clean. What do I do with it other than throw it away?
It is recommended to hand-wash. The set includes: fry pans, 1 quart and 2 quart sauce pans, a Dutch oven with lid, and a spoon, ladle, and spatula. The cookware set is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Care and use: All cooking methods are safe for PFOA, Lead, and Cadmium free. The frying pan needs to be washed in hot water and liquid to remove dust. Before you use it for the first time, rub a little cooking oil into the non-stick coating. When the T fal pan is ready for use, know when with their thermo spot indicator. The handles are heat resistant and the glass is Vented.
👤Compre unas ollas. Tengo 15 das usndolas, son malsimas. La capa protectora est levantando. malsimo para el organismo, pero se viene aderida a las comidas.
👤The set looked good and I was happy with it. The bottom of the frying pan is completely different by November. I tried putting it in the dishwasher. I tried using non abrasive products to clean it, but it didn't work. I am going to throw this set away because it is so bad. The saucepans are decent. You can get a set of 12 pieces for 70 bucks.
👤We love to cook and are very rough on cookware. The last set of pots and pans looked like they had barely made it out of the battle. We started looking for something that would be tough, look good and last a long time. We decided to research at Amazon after viewing cookware sets at places like Williams and Sonoma. The price for the Expert set was $65 and it had great reviews. We decided to order it and give it a try, and if the set failed or went wrong, we knew we had Amazon's warranty at our back. There is a The set arrived three days later and we immediately used it. The cookware items seem to be of high quality and the teflon non-stick coating seems to be high quality. The cookware in the Expert set has a red thermo-spot temperature indicator in the middle of each item to let you know when the pot or pan has been properly pre-heated. The set is made of high quality aluminum and will heat up faster and more evenly than the other types. I will go into more detail at a later time, but so far, it is holding up well. There were no problems with the teflon coating. The finish on these items is still very good, and they can be used in the dishwasher as well. They are easy to clean and look brand new. What more can we ask for? The cookware set is ten times more expensive than other sets. Highly recommended and five stars.
👤I got this set for non-stick and dishwasher safe cookware because I like Tfal products. I've only used it a couple of times, but it's definitely non-stick. I missed my return window because I waited so long. I still use these pots and pans, but I wish they were non-stick. I will probably donate the non-stick set that I am looking for.
👤Teflon based cookware is not something I like since the coating eventually comes off, no matter the quality, price or how dedicated you are to following the manufacturer's directions. I'm hesitant because of the research and studies that show how this stuff is not very good for you. For me, the ends justify the means. I'd rather have a small amount of Teflon over time than a lot of oil and grease. If you don't want to add a lot of fat when cooking certain foods, non-stick is a good thing. I've gone through a few T-Fal pans in the past, but I try to be careful. Don't stack the pans, cook on low heat, preheat first, non-scratch utensils, a bit of oil, and don't use abrasives when cleaning, all help. This is a perfect price point for replacements. I use the pans all the time to fry. I can stay healthy by cutting down on oils and fats. I don't put it in the dishwasher if it's dishwasher safe. It's a great deal to get these on sale. I've used expensive non-stick cookware and they're the same. They may last a bit longer but eventually they will stick. "Lifetime" warranties are useless. They will get you to mail it back, inspect it, and deny your claim so you're out postage. Get something cheap. This set is for you. Plan to replace it every few years. Don't get upset.
There is a safe stock option for dishwasher. All stovetops are suitable for dishwasher-safe cookware. There is a glass lid with a steam vent and two layers of ceramic nonstick coating. The capacity is five quarts. Only the hand wash is allowed. Red metallic high temperature paint on the outside. The product is not oven proof. Red metallic exterior with high heat temperature resistant paint. It's ideal for cooking large meals.
👤I can't speak to the importance of durability. I would come back if it fails. It was very nice and I used it immediately. I made bean soup. The handles were comfortable. The pan was strong. I hope it continues. There is a It cooled quickly once I removed the heat. There is a I think this is a good pot and I will use it a lot. It looks like it is durable.
👤I had no high hopes. I thought it was $20 for a pot with a lid. I would be fine, but it has exceeded my expectations. It has a non-stick surface so it is easy to clean, even if you are making popcorn, soup, or something else. The rubber handles on the sides are very good. The bright red color of the product looks very nice and there were no dents or scratches on it. You can't beat this value for $20.
👤Since I bought it, this has been my go to pot. I make soup, pasta, popcorn, Sauté veggies, make curry, deep fry etc. It is easy to clean and not too big. I have not used anything else. I wash and use a lot. I might need another one.
👤I've used it and liked it, though in my first use it gave off a very strong smell, which seemed to come from the rubber handles on it. I hope that doesn't happen.
👤I didn't expect much, but this is a great pot for this price. I've used it quite a bit so far. It is easy to clean. I didn't put it in the dishwasher. I don't know how it would hold up. I used it for spaghetti sauce and it didn't stain. It's a good idea to recommend it.
👤I have used this pan almost every day since I received it. I usually need to cook on high heat to start my recipe. It looks like I just received it, it doesn't scratch or stick, and the warm soapy water brings it back to the way it looked when I bought it. I love red kitchen accessories. I hope to replace other sizes that I need as well. The glass cover is a plus for me because I like to worry about what I am cooking and watch it the same.
👤The item was packed with bubble wrap and not a box or manual. The product is very thin and not looking like ceramic to me.
👤Great. The handles get very hot.
👤En general, una buena olla. Wendola. No se ha abollado. There is a El material tiene mucho el gasto. Parece ser duradera. Ms pequea para cocer verduras o as. Paraguisado de unas 5 personas, Este tamao es. There is a Es fcil de lavar, el material permite. He cocinado con y sin aceite. No, no, no There is a The color is un bonito.
👤I thought it was a smaller pot. I got the wrong size. I bought this size because it allows me to make more freezer portions. For freezing. The handles are safe and comfortable, the pot is beautiful, and the inside is non stick. I use non scratch ustensils to stirr in the pot. I want to see if I can find a smaller size for it.
Quality assurance Cast aluminum is found in COLOMBIA. Natural finish over time. Without a lid, the oven is safe. The design has a lid. It's ideal for Rice, Beans, Braise Meat, and more.
👤Excellent caldero for the price. I made 2 cups of rice in 2.6 quarts. Even with pegao, the pot was easy to clean. I saw the sale and bought it. Really pleased with the product.
👤I was a bit scared of ordering this pot because there were so many reviews that said the lid didn't fit. Too many for me. I crossed my fingers that it wouldn't be the case for me since other people didn't have that problem. It came with a good fit. It is what I needed. This size is perfect for what I need when I only want to cook a small amount of rice. The lid is just as thick as the pot. I can bend the thin lid of this pot that I have seen at stores. I like this pot a lot. I am happy it came without any problems.
👤I almost didn't order this pot because of the bad reviews. I wanted the lid to fit because I knew I would use it for making stew and popcorn. The price was too good for me to pass up. I needed the 2.6 quart because I knew it would fit in my backpack and be a good pot for camping. I believe that some people's lids did not fit. The metal is light and has sharp edges. It's an incredible deal and there is a simple process to cure the pot so that it performs as it should. Since I can't actually see the products, I would recommend the product mostly due to the price in relation to the product's quality, since I'm an avid "reviews" reader before I make an Amazon purchase.
👤I bought this for camping/backpacking and it will fill that roll as it's lightweight. The lid doesn't fit well, as other reviews have mentioned. One doesn't expect a lid to seal unless it is a pressure cooker. The lid doesn't sit flush. The other side rocks upwards if you press down on one side. I would be disappointed if I was buying this to use in my kitchen. The price was correct. It's weight will not be noticeable in a pack. I can live with the shoddy manufacturing because I'll be cooking stew or grits over the fire. Those are the facts. Choose wisely.
👤I have a 2qt one and it was perfect. I was worried that the lid wouldn't fit because of all the reviews, but it fit perfectly. When I first opened it, I thought it was small. The pot is deep and holds a lot. I might get the next size up for larger family gatherings. This was perfect for me and my son. Hope this helps someone.
👤This will be the last Dutch oven from this company. The 4.5 quart worked well for me. The 6.9 quart arrived with a badly made lid. I had to pry it out of the Pot because the top is so wop-sided that it does not fit at all. There is a large opening. I've read all the complaints about the lid and I think this company should do better with their product.
It's ideal for Rice, Beans, Braise Meat, and more. Ecolon is a professional grade ceramic coating. Ecolon coating is applied to both the interior and exterior of the cookware to maintain its longevity while also facilitating convenience in cleaning. Cast aluminum is gaining popularity as a safe alternative to cast iron. The weight of cast iron allows for fast cooking for soup, milk, butter, latte, chai tea, oatmeal, cereal, and more. It is easy to pour from the pan with 2 pour spouts on each side. Their handle is heat resistant and makes cooking fun. PFOA is free and eco-friendly. The Ecolon Ceramic coating is scratch resistant and non-stick. It is friendly to the environment and healthy for the human body. If you have a quality issue, please contact them at any time. Not compatible. Do not use abrasive cleaners, preheat empty cookware, or use the microwave for best results.
👤The first few weeks of using this pan, I was in love with it. It was easy to clean up. I didn't mind much. The bottom of the spoon got scratched after I accidentally used it for mixing. It is losing its non-stickiness after almost 2 months of use. The textured design of the outside makes it hard to clean. I want to throw this pan. Maybe there is a user error. Would it have lasted long? Not sure. The bottom of it is very worn after I haven't used metal in it. If you buy this, I advise you to never use metal utensils in it and never use anything other than a soft sponge to clean it.
👤What I don't like is that milk scalds no matter what in a pan but this pan hardly none, it is a breeze to clean, and the pour spouts on each side of the handle. There is a It is an awesome little pot. The quality of this company is really good.
👤Every morning my wife is heating milk. The bottom part sticks into the pot most of the time. You'll need to scratch hard to get that part out of the pot. I've tried many different pots and none of them dealt with it well. There is a Until this one! You don't have to scratch it. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
👤I wanted to heat up my baby's milk. It is a fantastic product. It's easy to clear. The ceramic coating is a better product than Teflon. Milk will burn on if you ever heat it in a metal pot. Not an issue with this pot. Make sure your stove grate does not have large openings when using this. There is a small surface on the pan. This is a ceramic coating. If you carelessness while handling or dropping it, guess what? The ceramic will crack. If you read some reviews about losing the non-stick and everything sticking, you probably don't know that Scotch-Brite sponges are used for. I have this for over a month and it still looks new.
👤I didn't like it. It's too small for my burner and it's tipping over when we move it. The water drips all over when pouring, even with a spout. I like the fact that it is easy to clean and safer to eat because it is covered with ceramic. The ceramic in my possession is chipping. I don't like to wait forever when boiling water, so I cook with the stove on high. I never returned it because I wanted to try it out, but I get frustrated every time I use it. It is too expensive for what it is. I would love to have my money back.
👤I like my drinks extra hot and make my own macchiatos at home. Milk gets burned and stuck to the bottom of the pot after a month or two, if you use other pots or kettles that way. I bought this one again after 14 months because it started to make the milk stick. It's so easy to clean, even if you think the milk at the bottom is stuck for life, just a light scrub will make it as good as new.
Let cookware cool before washing. Do not wash saucepan in dishware. The pans in the set have a non-stick coating inside and a heat resistant paint on the outside. The saucepan in the set is suitable for all cooking surfaces, including ceramic and electrical. The 1 quart saucepan is not suitable for cooking on the stove. CONVENIENCE includes a black bakelite handle for easy handling of the pan/s and a glass lid with bakelite knob to keep the food protected. These saucepans will serve you for a long time. Care instructions Use a soft cotton or linen towel to dry the pans, and use a plastic or wooden utensil to keep them in great shape.
👤These pots are used to heat milk. I don't expect them to last forever, but the non-stick is doing well and I don't think they will last forever. There is very little left to clean after drinking the milk. Potential buyers should be aware that these pots are small, but that liquids don't boil over the top like some other pots, making me feel more comfortable filling the pot higher.
👤The saucepans give off a terrible smell when used for cooking. It is frightening to think about what could happen to my family if I cook food in that smell. Very worried.
👤The saucepan by Utopia has a steam release in the lid, but it doesn't have an added protection of contents overflow upon boiling. The steam release in the lid and rolled rim of my other 2-qt saucepans from other manufacturers prevent the pan from overflowing, which is what I like the most about them. The saucepan by Utopia requires a lower level of content than the others. The design is the difference. It makes a difference.
👤I don't need large pots anymore, so I like the smaller ones. I like the steam holes in the glass lids. I hand wash my pots because I have found they last longer when I don't put them in the dishwasher. The pots are great for the price.
👤I ordered these pans because I needed a quart size pan. I was happy with my purchase when I got them. They were well made and sturdy. I threw the packaging away because I thought it was great. I noticed the pan was leaking after using it for the second time. The handle on the pan has a small leak. It must be lower than the screws if I put liquids in it. I guess you get what you pay for. Don't waste your money on useless things.
👤The handle was comfortable and the weight was sturdy. The sauce pan was made of flimsy metal and did not distribute the heat well. So far, so good.
👤The picture shows the issue with the saucepan. The handle of the 1 quart saucepan is heavier than that of the saucepan, so it can't stand on its own. Let's cook some hot food in it. In the full load status, it stands flat. After removing hot foods from the saucepan, it can loose its stability and fall on the floor, which can result in severe burns. It can't cook evenly and it can't stand flat. I returned the product after observing the issue. The 2 quart saucepan seems to work.
👤I used both of them within hours after receiving them. Both are heated evenly. The tops have plastic handles so you won't get burned. The packaging was very sanitary with two layers of protection, something I have become very concerned with in these difficult times. If I notice anything abnormal over time, I will update this review. Can anyone tell me why Silverware sized plastic utensils are not made? I'm not talking about the kind of food you get at the store. I have been unable to find giant-size spoons with holes, giant-size forks and large Spatula's that are easy to use in small sauce pans and skillets. I forget and damage the non-stick surface when I use regular silverware. Thanks to anyone who has suggestions!
It is suitable for all stove tops. Lifetime limited warranty, oven safe up to 350 degree, dishwasher safe, PFOA, lead, and cadmium free. Versatility in the kitchen requires an oven safe. The dual layer is non-stick for easy food release. The aluminum construction is durable. Cast stay cool. The oven is safe up to 450oF. The lifetime warranty is full.
👤My son-in-law is the reason I'm buying these pans. He ruined my pans by not following instructions. These are the rules for any non-stick pan that you want to keep non-stick. 1) There was no high heat. The pans work well at both low and medium. The metal will warp and the non-stick coating will be damaged if these pans are pre-heated. Hand wash only! Automatic dishwasher detergents can ruin non-stick coating and damage certain metals. No spraying! The non-stick coating will be damaged by things like Pam. There are four There is no cold water on a hot pan. Who does that? I've seen him take a hot pan and run the cold water from the faucet on it. Really? I'm pretty sure he does that to get the grease out of the pan. Doing so will warp the metal and ruin the non-stick coating. No metal clasps! Again, who does that? I've seen a lot of things on my pans. Don't do that. Don't. Calphalon brand pans are some of the best on the market and will last a long time if they are treated with care and respect. I own a full set of Calphalon pots and pans. I have full confidence that everything I cook in them will turn out great, and I am very pleased with them. It was a good purchase. Five stars.
👤The pan was faulty just received. The pan cannot be lay flat on the stove because the handle is positioned lower than the pan bottom. I'm returning set.
👤If you're going to use hard anodized skillets, this skillet looks wonderful. I have not been able to use mine. I washed it by hand in warm soapy water. I'm getting black stuff on the towel I dry the pan with, even with a nylon scrubbie sponge. I assume this black stuff is going to ruin the food I cook in this pan so I haven't used it yet. Is there anyone else who has experienced the same? The manufacturer should help me out here. What is this black stuff? I have attached a picture of what is coming off the pan. It shows what I see when I rub the pan dry with my fingers. I contacted Calphalon directly and they sent me a replacement pan. I experienced the same problem with the new pan, so my review must remain the same. That's enough for me. I don't have the time or energy to deal with this further, so I'm out of the original cost as well. Does anyone know if the pans would be recycled? I don't know how to dispose of the one I have. There is a The "black stuff" is not known. I've never put this pan in the dishwasher, but Calphalon said it was perhaps something from my dishwasher, but I was unable to identify it. shrugs>
👤Many of the reviews of this pan seem to be for a set or other product. I would prefer reviews that are specific to the item. Calphalon has been used by me for over 20 years. The price point of this pan was too low for a high quality Calphalon pan. I don't know if this is a lower quality line or the pan is malfunctioning. There is a The pan does not evenly heat up. One half of bacon is barely cooked. I have to move the food around in the pan to keep it from burning. It is easy to clean up. I gave it 2 stars because of that. I don't know how it holds up in the dishwasher because I never put cookware in it. I am not happy with this pan. It has damaged my trust in Calphalon.
Lifetime limited guarantee. It is built to perform and has a protective layer that is stronger than the original metal and it won't react to acidic foods. T-fal's Heat Mastery System is a three ingredient recipe for perfectly delicious cooking results every time...superior and longer- lasting non-stick coating, anti-warping, even heat base and patented thermo-spot technology. The temperature-spot inDICator is made ofTHERMO-SPOT. The ring around the spot turns red when pans are ready to be used and preheating is important to cooking evenly. Sturdy non-stick. The hard titanium interior is scratch resistant and toxin-free, making it easy to cook and clean. Silicone handles areriveted for comfort and safety.
👤I love these pans. The best part is that they clean up easily. I usually put my non-stick pans in the dishwasher, but I just use dish soap and water to clean them in the sink because they are so clean. Would definitely recommend! The best non-stick pan I've ever owned didn't cost an arm or a leg.
👤A pan that had already been heated up and used for an event had to be scrambled in the end.
👤This is the fourth time I've bought a version of these pans, and it wasn't because I needed to replace them. The original pan is still going strong eight years later. I bought a larger one for home and then a full set for our cabin. I bought the 12 for my mom to replace her peeling pans. They are heavy, but the finish has held up well for us, and my husband is guilty of using the occasional fork to turn things. If you stack them with something in between, you can avoid metal-on-metal. We use a thin coat of butter or oil to make it easier to cook sticky things like eggs, even though you can use them on low heat without fat. The red dot thing in the middle is not a benefit to the pans.
👤There is nothing I don't like about this set. I was so happy to purchase the 10" and12" set. The last set I had was thin and lighter. The rivots hold the handle to the pan. I used olive oil to treat the pans before cooking them. Nothing is sticking to them. I wash them by hand. Time will tell how good they are.
👤These pans are wonderful. It's easy to cook food. I used the 10 inch pan on my gas stove to cook dinner. I left the burner on low for the rest of the family to catch up after the food was done. The burner was not turned off until 7am the next morning, and I was sure the pan was ruined, but it was cleaned up and not worse for wear. Will be buying more of these.
👤Perfect pans. I always buy a shirt. Heavy duty stuff. It's easy to clean, even the heat distribution doesn't warp. If you've been using plastic utensils for a while, you're not going to see any big issues. If I have to buy another set in 3 years or so, I got my 3 piece set for 60 bucks. I've tried all of the brands and these are really great. You will not go wrong with these.
👤The pans are holding up well. It is easy to clean. I tried a few different fry pans and was sad at the performance and life expectancies.
👤We have tried many pans throughout our marriage and sticking is always an issue after a month. Having to clean your pans forever after cooking is nothing worse than it is. They are not sticking even in the smallest of ways. We use soap to clean them. I was impressed and would buy again.
If you have a quality issue, please contact them at any time. Not compatible. Do not use abrasive cleaners, preheat empty cookware, or use the microwave for best results. The small saucier pan is made from heavy duty aluminum and is great for quickly melting butter, making gravy or reductions, or warming up hot fudge topping. Excellent cooking: The quality nonstick provides easy food release and easier cleaning when cooking. The saucier is small and can be used to cook soup, hot cereals, melt butter for popcorn and make sauces. It is easy to clean. The dishwasher is safe for cleaning. The small saucepan is oven safe to 350 degrees F.
👤The pot has a bad smell. I have washed it at least 12 times. Maybe the chemicals need to be cooked. I boiled water in my windows. We had to go outside until the smell cleared the house. Don't use this. It's not a good idea to eat anything cooked in there. The company should not be allowed to sell this product.
👤I washed and dried the pan. The last time I used it was the first. While boiling two eggs, I came down with a headaches, because of the overpowering fish odor. I don't like the smell of fish. I wonder what compounds are off-gassing from this pan. I have used and enjoyed Farberware pots and pans in the past, so my guess is that this particular saucier suffered a defect during manufacturing or packaging. Maybe I'll put it in the dishwasher and try again.
👤The thing is a fire hazard. I used it to boil water, and the chemical smell in the house after just a few minutes was unbearable, and I had to open all the windows and turn the fans on. The piece that connects the plastic to the pot is very cheap, and I believe it's the problem. This was done after one use. I was using a gas range, but it wasn't exposed to the fire. I've had other products from Faberware, but never this one. Amazon should stop selling this product.
👤I wanted a small pan for oatmeal. It is the perfect size and is heavy. It smells terrible when you use it. It has a terrible smell and you have to decide if you want to eat out of a pan that gasses so much. The smell abates if you use lower heat. I wouldn't buy again.
👤I used a pour spout on the side of the cup to make a cup of sugar, and I had a lot of waste, but I was able to pour it longer than I normally do. It was easy to clean up. The sugar didn't stick at all, it all came off quickly. There is a My complaint is that my candy thermometer is too small. :/ If I'm making a bunch of cinnamon, I can't physically hold it.
👤I wrote a review that was removed from Amazon because of the wording I used, but it turned out that the product was authentic, and that's not a change to my review. The product was so bad I had to throw it out. It had a plastic smell from the very first time it was used. The food took on the same smell when it was heating up. If you want to remove an honest review, please be authentic Amazon. The product made the food smell bad. Farberware should investigate this product and make sure customers don't get something that does this. I am not the only person who mentions this smell in other reviews.
👤I needed a pot with a spout to make lollipops for my grand and great grandchildren. I thought it would be perfect since my pots don't have spouts. It would have been if I had been left handed. I didn't know there were different sizes of spouts on each side of the pot. The majority of right handed people pour to the left side of the pot. The spout on the right side of the pot was larger. The smaller one was needed to make suckers. If I were making large suckers, it would have been perfect, but not what I had in mind.

The most trusted emerging woman owned small business is Avalon. They have always got your back. There is a lifetime guarantee for the product purchased from Avalon.
👤I bought two of the pans because the reviews on Amazon were mostly positive. They have a website where you can submit the lifetime warranty, but if you have any questions, you can chat there. I was so disappointed that they ignored my complaint that the pans I received last week had some scratch on them. I want to know if the scratch can be removed and if the expert can give me advice. They totally destroyed me. I've had a complaint for three days in a row.
👤Nothing sticks, which is absolutely wrong, was claimed by this cookware. It said lifetime warranty is a lie. I tried to get the lifetime warranty by email, but no reply after a week. If you're an Indian, never buy this cookware. White patches appeared after cooking. Hopefully, she knows how Indian cooking is. She can understand what I mean. The pan is good for western cooking. When the product can't meet that standard and the lifetime warranty, don't advertise wrong things. Calphalon or oxo good grips products are the best. I was hoping that it would be a mistake, but alas it was the worst.
👤I enjoy cooking. I found this pan very useful. It is heavy for everyday use. I cook a lot of food. This is ready to be used right away.
👤I thought I would like this pan. I've been a serious cook for over 20 years, using mostly assorted saute pans, sauce pans, cast iron and woks. The perfect size for a saute pan and sauce pan is the Avacraft pan. Think of a Dutch Oven size. It's perfect for any one pot meal, sauce dish, risotto, stew, or any other dish that requires a sauce pan. It's heavy enough to hold heat evenly, but not so heavy that it's uncomfortable to lift. We will have to see if it can last as long as my favorite pan. I used online directions to season the pan. I plan on buying more Christmas gifts after this purchase.
👤This pan is tri-ply for fast cooking. It has a nice depth, and has 2 handles on each side, which makes it easier to lift and store, and is so much better for my wrist joints. It's easier to wash if you have smaller sinks. I would give it 5 stars, but the lid isn't as snug as I want it to be. The steam still comes out on the sides even though it has a vent hole, so you can't remove the lid to stir. It allows the rice to run down the sides onto the burner.
👤It was lighter than some other pans. After the first use, it got stains. The food was cooked well and didn't burn, so it was put in the dishwasher, and soaked in warm soap water. Doesn't seem like a good investment.
👤I love this pan. I was looking for a new pan. It would have been my second. They don't last forever, and they're expensive. I decided to try something new with this pan. I'm glad I did. I use this pan for everything. It looks good on the stove. The price is just amazing. You will not regret buying this pan.
Works on gas, electric, glass, ceramic, etc. The P&P Chef 1qt saucepan is made of 18/10 STAINLESS STEEL and is Rust free and non toxic. TheSaucepan handle is riveted for balanced grip, the hollow lid knob is heat proof and stays cool to touch, and a big hole at handle end to hang up for easy storage. The bakelite handle is heat proof and comfortable to touch or transfer food, the glass lid is convenient to monitor your food, and the close-fitting cover is heat proof and comfortable to lock in the hydration and nutrition. The cleaner edge helps pour liquid without a vent and the high grade polish makes the sauce pan easy to clean. A quart saucepan is good for cooking at home or in a restaurant, it's also good for boiling eggs or blanching tomatoes.
👤I was looking for a pan that I could cook noodles in, but I didn't want a pan that would stain or wear easily, and after looking I found this one. I was willing to pay a little more for the quality because I thought this was a really good saucepan that wouldn't stain. I thought it was really high quality when it arrived. It was nice, but there were small spots on the bottom of the pan that wouldn't come off, I tried to scrub it off with a sponge, but I'm not sure if the coating was stuck to the surface or not. It's ridiculous not to be able to scrub a saucepan to get rid of things that are stuck to it, because there were deep and visible scratches after scrubbing a little. There is a There was a large brown spot after I let one of my friends use it to make bacon, after using it a little more. I don't know what the manufacturer was thinking when they designed this. The handle for the lid has a pocket under it that can cause mold if water gets into it when cleaning but can't get out easily. The rim of the lid is large enough for things to get stuck under, but not large enough for a sponge to clean it. I used a paper towel and a small skewer to clean that area. The paper towel was black and yellow, which was quite unsanitary. There is a Do not buy this, I don't know how it got 4.5 stars. It is not very good.
👤This is a small pan. No worry about damaging or peeling the coating. It is easy to clean. The heat is evenly distributed. There is a The handle is securely attached. The colored lid makes the pan look like it's copper on the inside, but it's not. I would get a full set of pans if P&P made them.
👤It's awesome for the price. If you want to make some rice or soup or something simple, then this is the product for you. The others in this area are complaining that it "stains". Well. Yes, it does, but throw a bit of vinegar in there and those come out. You would think that people would use the same device they used to buy, to look up how to clean it. If you want to travel to or fight orcs in Middle-earth, then you should get a better saucepan than the 15 dollar one you got. Use this to cook some potatoes. You know; PO-TAT-OES. Put em in a stew.
👤I only use this saucepan to soft boil 2 eggs for breakfast. The water comes to a rolling boil very quickly, the handle stays cool, but the knob on the lid gets too hot. This is not a big deal. After many uses, the saucepan continues to retain its polished luster.
👤Not too large, not too small, and perfect for making one-person meals! The material feels solid and comfortable to hold. It would be fine to have it cleaned by the dishwasher. The tinted lid cover makes the inside look like it's copper, but it's really steel and has been heating well for me so far. I've been using it for boiling eggs and making soup, so warming other foods or melting butter shouldn't be a problem.
