Cooks' Tools;Pasta Makers were included. It is easy to clean. Farberware has delivered quality and styling for decades, and this dishwasher safe stockpot is no exception. STAINLESS STEEL IS CLASSIC. The classic 6 quart stock pot has a mirror finish and is heavy-duty. It is an industrial stock market. The stockpot is an excellent conductor of heat distribution and is compatible with the stovetop. The high heat exchanger. The comfortable handles with famous styling give a confident grasp when moving a pot out of an oven.
👤I have a pot that is only three months old and there are small rusted pits on the bottom of it, which means that the aluminum is going to end up in the food.
👤Farberware cookware is a great purchase. The Classic Series cookware has been used by me. When my children needed pots and pans, I gave them my older set and bought a new set for them. These pieces are easy to clean. They will always look new if you just polish with BonAmi or a steel powder. The design of the lid is great for keeping steam inside the pot. I use the 8 quart size for soups, steaming vegetables, boiling pasta, making candy, and cooking jams. The aluminum bottoms are made of steel. The thick bottom makes things hard to burn. You will not be disappointed.
👤I washed and dried the 6 quart dutch oven I got yesterday after I got it, using hot soapy water and a soft dish towel. I rub coconut oil in the steel. There was a black smudge on the paper towel. I decided to make my famous beef stew this morning. I decided it would be a good idea to boil some water in this pan before using it. After boiling water for 15 minutes, the water was drained and wiped with a dish towel, and then coconut oil was rubbed on the sides and bottom. There was something on my paper towel. I called Fabraware Company and talked to a lady about what was happening to the pan, instead of sending it back. She didn't understand why this would be happening. I asked if anyone else had noticed it. The company said it was probably polishing compound and not to be concerned. I don't know if this is made in China or the US, but I didn't want to eat food from this pan until the problem was solved. This thing was made in China. I drained the pan after I boiled half white vinegar for 20 minutes. After getting out my Bar Keepers friend, he washed the inside of the pan. The coconut oil on the sides and the bottom was black. The beef was dredged in flour and I made my stew from it. I was amazed that it worked, no stick and nicely. This pan worked great after I added the rest of my ingredients. I never turned the heat above medium on my glass cooktop. It was one of my favorites. This piece is the only Vintage Revere Ware I have. Black residual from any cookware has never been seen before. This is why I gave this a 4. We will see how it holds up. I take extra care with my cookware. I think I'm a neat freak because everything has to be clean. Will update later on after I use this pan, but it seems to be a nice piece and cooks well. The handles were warm but not hot. The bottom of the pan is very nice. It is not too heavy. If it holds up, it will be a keeper.
The industrial substance is ready. All heating methods are compatible with this cast iron wok. Works on gas, ceramic, and electric stove tops. It is easy to clean. The whole family can enjoy traditional Chinese wok cooking. The wok is made of 18/10 steel and has an aluminum core. Air-flow technology keeps the handles cooler. The dome lid traps heat and humidity. It's dishwasher-safe and oven-safe to 500 degrees F.
👤I think this is a very good wok. The dome lid is better than most stir-fry pans in the market. I have some tips to share. This is not "seasoned" like cast iron. Some people say that pans need to be seasoned. That is incorrect. It doesn't hurt if you season it with thin layer oil. Some users have burning stains. It's easy! The water can be boiled and removed. If you are running hard water in your house, you will need to use citric acid to remove calcium and other metal oxides from it. The same thing can be done with vino. Since it is more efficient, I recommend it. The smell of citric acid is not bad. A bag of citric acid is not expensive and can be used for a long time. All those stains and metal oxides can be removed with the help of the strong acids in the water. I cook a lot. I have been using this wok for almost a year. I clean it this way and it still looks great. If it gets rusted, it means the coating on it is broken and needs to be replaced. It happens on the deep scratched spots. If it is burning stain and calcium oxide condensation due to hard water... No problem at all! The photos show before and after a soap wash. If you want a cookware that is strong and non-stick, you should go much higher than this item. If you clean it this way, I think it's good enough for a household use. I hope you enjoy using the cookware!
👤This item is amazing. Professional weight and handling. The photo doesn't do it justice, so I posted a few photos for everyone. The bottom of the picture appears to be a bit more rounded in real life than it appears in the photo, which is fine for me. The interior bottom of the pan has a gentle change of angle and is not like the photo. The gentle angle allows for the heat to spread evenly so you can overload the pan and the food along the sides will cook as evenly as the bottom. The photo doesn't do the pan justice because it is very shiny and polished. I used the pan for the first time. The meal is low fat because I only used a pan spray of canola oil. The bottom of the pan does not have oil, but everything came out perfect. The extra grab handle on the opposite side is perfect. The pan and lid are very deep. This item would cost over 120 dollars in a regular store. I was happy to get it on Amazon.
👤We got this after we got our stove. This wok works. It's good enough to make stir frying legit because it heats up evenly and the instant response of the burner makes it legit. I have an outdoor kitchen with a heavy duty carbon steel wok and a 90K BTU gas burner. I've used the 15K-20K burners on high end domestic ranges. The outdoor setup is too dangerous for indoor use. I can get good stir fried flavors on this wok without using high-end gas or induction burners. The sugars in the ingredients can be quickly caramelized with the help of the steel. The temperature in stir fry cooking has to be very responsive to changes. Just before new ingredients are added and increased again, the heat is reduced. The temperature should be along the bottom and gradually become cooler towards the top lip. 13 inch is a good size. Large enough to prevent spills. Larger woks would need higher burners to heat up.
It's a risk free buy. If you're not completely satisfied with your insert pans, please contact them and they will replace or refund your product. Food grade STAINLESS STEEL SAUCEPAN is 1.5 quarts. Special finish inside to prevent scratches and mirror finish outside for a shiny and stylish look. It's easy to read the measurement marks inside. Steel cauldron with poison spray is a shatterproof glass cover with straining holes on both sides to strain pasta, noodles, vegetables and many more. The Saucepan has an 18/10 steel handle, ergonomics, grip comfort, and a lifetime of balanced cooking. It is possible to heat evenly and save energy. Designed to use with gas, electric ceramic, and cook tops, the base has a high quality aluminum alloy. It's made with high quality 18/10 food gradestainless steel which is highly durable, resistant to rust, stain, corrosion or crack, and to top it, it's designed to look elegant in the kitchen. Best gift for family, friends and loved ones for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year is a dishwasher, freezer and safe refrigerator. This small sauce pan is an essential tool for any kitchen, it can be used for warming foods, melting butter, preparing breakfast cereals, and making soups or sauces.
👤On Christmas Eve, I melted a $12 silicone spatula into my saucier. We'd used a little bit of Genny since the storm. I was distracted and thrilled, but how does one melt silicone into an intractible lump? I found this. I'd never seen anything like that before, but I thought it was a saucier type pot. I hunted Amazon until I found the pot of my dreams; this one, a generator and a wireless router that we could run for 12 hours at a go. It has exceeded my expectations. I'm here to order as gifts for several birthdays coming up and another for myself because on top of perfect heating and size, I've discovered that this pot is indespensible for storing and reheated leftover soups, stew and stir frys; narrow and not too tall. Stop reading if you've gotten this far. Buy the pot.
👤If you're trying to feed a family of 4 or more, the 1.5 quart size wouldn't work. It's perfect since it's just me and my husband. If you want to cook green beans, corn, broccoli, carrots, you can strain them. When pasta is the main dish, and anyone else for a side dish, it's a great size for 2 people. The small drainage cutout on the side and the holes in the lid allow you to strain the dish without having to clean another dish. I bought another oven as I thought the handle would be hot, or the steam would burn my hand. It's not needed. I don't know how it works but it doesn't burn my hand. It's very easy to clean since it's not steel. Can use metal inside. The handle is very good. It sticks out to the side compared to the pots where it sticks straight out. Highly recommended! If you have a bigger family, get the bigger one.
👤I was looking for a small pot that didn't have a handle. It is easy to store, but large enough for many cooking and boiling tasks. The manufacturer states that "pitting" isn't covered under warranty, but this is a known issue. I will put it aside for when the first one wears out, when it's in stock again. Is it possible to get in? Yes! --- There is a One who has searched for pots/pans that are capable of instruement must make a point of saying that this pot is indeed instruement capable. The "induction symbol" is stamped on the bottom of the specs along with the ones for gas, electric, ceramic, etc. There is a The diameter of the base and bottom is 4 6/8, the Outside diameter is 5 1/2, and the Widest point is 6 1/8". The height without lid is 4 7/8" and the length of handle is 3 1/2 inches. There is a --- I was able to fill this pot with water. This pot holds 7.5 cups, which is actually the actual size, since it's not filled that high. It is almost two quarts. The fill line says 1.5L, which is close to 1.5 quarts. It was perfect. Do the handles get hot? There is a The handle on the lid will get too hot if one leaves it on for a while. I have been able to pick it up by theVERTICAL portion of the handle at any time. The handle was always Too Hot. All was well if I never touched the HorIZONTAL portion of the handle. There is a The lid The only Milk Pot that comes with a lid is the Fosslang one. I've grown accustomed to pots withvent holes on the surface of the lid to prevent things from boiling over, but this Fosslang pot has a "strainer" lid, which isn't the best when trying to prevent things from boiling over. I stuck something under the lid to create a gap which would allow me to use the lid without a boil-over. There is a The manual states that "pit/discolor" is a normal wear-and-tear issue, and that "Strainer" lid aside, the inside/bottom of the Fosslang does "pit/discolor" over time. If I had to do it all over again, would I have dried the pot with a soft cloth and seasoned it to protect it? acid? Is it possible to pit away the bottom of acidic noodles? Is there a warranty? There is a The box says "10 years guarantee Fosslang guaranteed" but the documentation says two years. The address listed for warranty returns is in China, so it's not feasible to ship back for warranty purposes. None. This is an import item, so if you want to rack up Frequent Flier Miles, returning might be difficult. The Spout. Thetrainer lid along with the spout makes draining noodles incredibly easy. The noodles seem to stick the bottom and accelerate wear-and-tear, but the lid/spout makes this pot an excellent choice for cooking pasta. The spout would appear to be on the small side, like a "dent", rather than something along the lines of teapots and such. The picture has three views of the spout. I was able to slide a penny into the spout. A nickel was too thick. There is a "universal nine inch lid" that does fit the Fosslang Pot and has avent hole. A nine inch lid on a pot looks silly. RSVP Endurance made the lid and the ASIN number was B00LU20Z02. Is that a thing? One of the videos attached to this item is called "How to Use Seasoned Steel Pans", and it is one of the Ultra-Fine Print items that helps to slow down wear-and-tear on pots/pans. If one self-seasons a pot/pan, it could greatly extend it's lifespan. It usually involves cooking oil and heating the pot/pan on a burner or oven.
The flat base of the Wok Frying Pan ensures that it is safe to sit on any stovetop or cooking surface. It can be used on electric coils, electric glass tops, gas stovetops, and other direct heat sources. A high quality pan is 11 inches. Special finish inside and outside to prevent scratches. Highly resistant to rust, stain, corrosion and crack, it is made with 18/10 stainless steel. Multi-ply capsule bottom with pure aluminum is a great way to distribute heat. The wok is made of the best steel. It can be used as a stir fry pan, a stewpot, a steak pan, a crepe pan, and a skillet. Works on a lot of different types of cooktops. A wok. The healthier option is over the pan. The strong glass lid has a shatterproof dome glass cover. Silicone coated handles stay cool when the pot is hot. This wok pan has a lid. The most trusted emerging woman owned small business is Avalon. They have always got your back. There is a lifetime guarantee for the product purchased from Avalon.
👤I bought two of the pans because the reviews on Amazon were mostly positive. They have a website where you can submit the lifetime warranty, but if you have any questions, you can chat there. I was so disappointed that they ignored my complaint that the pans I received last week had some scratch on them. I want to know if the scratch can be removed and if the expert can give me advice. They totally destroyed me. I've had a complaint for three days in a row.
👤Nothing sticks, which is absolutely wrong, was claimed by this cookware. It said lifetime warranty is a lie. I tried to get the lifetime warranty by email, but no reply after a week. If you're an Indian, never buy this cookware. White patches appeared after cooking. Hopefully, she knows how Indian cooking is. She can understand what I mean. The pan is good for western cooking. When the product can't meet that standard and the lifetime warranty, don't advertise wrong things. Calphalon or oxo good grips products are the best. I was hoping that it would be a mistake, but alas it was the worst.
👤I enjoy cooking. I found this pan very useful. It is heavy for everyday use. I cook a lot of food. This is ready to be used right away.
👤I thought I would like this pan. I've been a serious cook for over 20 years, using mostly assorted saute pans, sauce pans, cast iron and woks. The perfect size for a saute pan and sauce pan is the Avacraft pan. Think of a Dutch Oven size. It's perfect for any one pot meal, sauce dish, risotto, stew, or any other dish that requires a sauce pan. It's heavy enough to hold heat evenly, but not so heavy that it's uncomfortable to lift. We will have to see if it can last as long as my favorite pan. I used online directions to season the pan. I plan on buying more Christmas gifts after this purchase.
👤This pan is tri-ply for fast cooking. It has a nice depth, and has 2 handles on each side, which makes it easier to lift and store, and is so much better for my wrist joints. It's easier to wash if you have smaller sinks. I would give it 5 stars, but the lid isn't as snug as I want it to be. The steam still comes out on the sides even though it has a vent hole, so you can't remove the lid to stir. It allows the rice to run down the sides onto the burner.
👤It was lighter than some other pans. After the first use, it got stains. The food was cooked well and didn't burn, so it was put in the dishwasher, and soaked in warm soap water. Doesn't seem like a good investment.
👤I love this pan. I was looking for a new pan. It would have been my second. They don't last forever, and they're expensive. I decided to try something new with this pan. I'm glad I did. I use this pan for everything. It looks good on the stove. The price is just amazing. You will not regret buying this pan.
The dishwasher and oven are safe. Up to 350F. The stockpot is made of high quality, non-toxic, no rust, and no chemical coating, it is durable and strong, and it is healthier for your family. The stock pot has better thermal conductivity, the handles are riveted for balanced grip, and the hollow lid knob is heat proof and stays cool to touch. The glass lid is made of glass and it is sturdy. The air hole of the lid can help reduce the pressure of the pot. The interior of the stockpot is mirror-finished, the exterior is brushed finish, and the pan is dishwasher safe. The stockpot has many uses, including boiling milk, noodles, soup, and porridge. Works on gas stove, electric furnace, and halogen furnace. Not safe to use in the oven.
👤This pan is a piece of junk. The thinness of the stove makes it take a long time to heat up. There is a It had extreme wear after two uses. I didn't think the sides would rust after a week of use. I only use this on a stove top to increase humidity. The rust is here to stay even though I tried boiling it in water. I expected it to last at least a few months. The lid is very nice.
👤The handle of the lid teeters as it did not fit properly. I am not sure if the handle is steel or metal, but it is light. The plastic under the screw makes it harder to fit the mini piece of the handle under it. The screw turns around itself when you screw and screw. Plastic does not help much. I only used it once to boil water and get some stock. It was okay so far. If you want a pot for a short time, you can buy it like me.
👤I have made a few things in this pot since I bought it in March, but I heard a soft boom after rinsing off the lid and putting it on the counter, I wasn't sure what it was. My daughter had to pick glass out of my arm and hand as I didn't know they were there until she told me. The glass went out about four feet. I want to give a warning but I am not sure what caused it.
👤The metal for the pot is thin. It developed staining on the inside from the heat of the burner after a week of use. The handles resist heat, but sometimes one of them is too hot to hold with my bare hands. It could be my stove.
👤I only use this for heating liquids, water, stock, and occasionally thin soups. There is a I only have to give answers on those. There is a Large enough to boil 9 eggs, but can do two 9 layers easily. I was looking for a pan that would come to a rolling boil faster than my choice pans. There is a A thinner pan. I use it for nothing else.
👤It's a nice pot, but it says it's ready for induction, and it's not. A pot or pan that works on an induction range, a magnet has to stick to the pot or pan, this pot, I do mean barley will let a magnet stick to it. My range wouldn't include this pot.
👤The pot has a heavy bottom so it can take a lot of heat. The handles are the only thing that I don't like. They stick out too far. I have a small stove and the handles are in the way of the other burners. It works well for what I need it for.
👤Severe rust like discolorations appeared after several days of use. There is abnormal wear on a pot. I only use wooden spoons for stirring so I don't know why.
There is a safe stock option for dishwasher. All stovetops are suitable for dishwasher-safe cookware. There is a glass lid with a steam vent and two layers of ceramic nonstick coating. The capacity is five quarts. Only the hand wash is allowed. Red metallic high temperature paint on the outside. The product is not oven proof. Red metallic exterior with high heat temperature resistant paint. It's ideal for cooking large meals.
👤I can't speak to the importance of durability. I would come back if it fails. It was very nice and I used it immediately. I made bean soup. The handles were comfortable. The pan was strong. I hope it continues. There is a It cooled quickly once I removed the heat. There is a I think this is a good pot and I will use it a lot. It looks like it is durable.
👤I had no high hopes. I thought it was $20 for a pot with a lid. I would be fine, but it has exceeded my expectations. It has a non-stick surface so it is easy to clean, even if you are making popcorn, soup, or something else. The rubber handles on the sides are very good. The bright red color of the product looks very nice and there were no dents or scratches on it. You can't beat this value for $20.
👤Since I bought it, this has been my go to pot. I make soup, pasta, popcorn, Sauté veggies, make curry, deep fry etc. It is easy to clean and not too big. I have not used anything else. I wash and use a lot. I might need another one.
👤I've used it and liked it, though in my first use it gave off a very strong smell, which seemed to come from the rubber handles on it. I hope that doesn't happen.
👤I didn't expect much, but this is a great pot for this price. I've used it quite a bit so far. It is easy to clean. I didn't put it in the dishwasher. I don't know how it would hold up. I used it for spaghetti sauce and it didn't stain. It's a good idea to recommend it.
👤I have used this pan almost every day since I received it. I usually need to cook on high heat to start my recipe. It looks like I just received it, it doesn't scratch or stick, and the warm soapy water brings it back to the way it looked when I bought it. I love red kitchen accessories. I hope to replace other sizes that I need as well. The glass cover is a plus for me because I like to worry about what I am cooking and watch it the same.
👤The item was packed with bubble wrap and not a box or manual. The product is very thin and not looking like ceramic to me.
👤Great. The handles get very hot.
👤En general, una buena olla. Wendola. No se ha abollado. There is a El material tiene mucho el gasto. Parece ser duradera. Ms pequea para cocer verduras o as. Paraguisado de unas 5 personas, Este tamao es. There is a Es fcil de lavar, el material permite. He cocinado con y sin aceite. No, no, no There is a The color is un bonito.
👤I thought it was a smaller pot. I got the wrong size. I bought this size because it allows me to make more freezer portions. For freezing. The handles are safe and comfortable, the pot is beautiful, and the inside is non stick. I use non scratch ustensils to stirr in the pot. I want to see if I can find a smaller size for it.
Their #1 priority is to make you happy with their accessories. They offer a 100% money back guarantee if you don't like their accessories. The 8 quart cooking pot is the perfect size for boiling eggs, simmering stocks & soups, or making sauces. It's great for home cooking. The handles are made of shir steel and are comfortable to handle and cook with. A stylish and modern design with mirror polished exterior and matt polished interior adds an elegant touch to your cookwares. Food-GRADE STAINLESS STEEL is non-toxic, non-allergic, and safe for cooking. It has an impact-bonded base with a thickness of 0.228” and a pot of 13.8x 9.45x 9.43". The stock pot is designed for use in gas, ceramic, glass, and halogen cook tops. Hand washing is very important to preserve the shine of the steel.
👤The stockpot has made cooking so much easier for me. I cook everything in it. It is tall and prevents oil stains on my stove. This has been easy to clean and I have not had any food sticking to it. The handles don't get hot and that makes it easier to use.
👤It appears that the bottom has some pits and that the ferrous layer is getting damaged by the STAINLESS layer. This pot is being used on a cooktop and is rated for service. The pot was never empty. I have other higher price and quality pots and have never seen it before. Since I don't know the quality of the inner clad material and if it is safe for cooking, I will return it and move onto another brand.
👤I have always wanted a good stock pot, but the prices were out of my reach. I saw a stockpot that was affordable. I like that the all steel construction is non-toxic, non-allergic and safe for cooking, the handles are easy to carry from the stove to the table and the glass lid has a vent hole. There is a This pot can be used in many different ways. Even though it is large, you can use it for so many things. It serves a lot of things. I use it to can my jams and jellies, for all my sous vide recipes, and for making a large pot of soup. It was much heavier than I expected. It's perfect size and distributes heat evenly. No burning, works well. It is easy to clean. Totally worth the money. Highly recommended.
👤Excellent quality stock pot! I am very happy that I bought this pot. I got a pot. I am so glad I did. This pot makes it enjoyable to make a lot of soup. I can make soups for the winter. This has made cooking so enjoyable. Is it easy to reach into the pot for short people? My other large pots made it difficult for me to reach into and stir, because the pot is wide. The base cooks evenly on my stove.
👤I spent the day making and canning spaghetti sauce and cooking it all in a pot. There were 12 quarts in mine. The pot crushed the cooking job. No heat issues, no burning, as perfect as a $200 pot could have done. The Bar Keepers Friend made it look like it had been in the box. I could not have picked a better choice. The free spoons were unnecessary because of the value and price performance of the product. Just buy it. You will probably die or lose it to your ex-wife before you ever do anything wrong.
👤Excellent quality stockpot. It was very easy to clean because it's thick and shiny. We're using it to cook a lot of food. The pot is large enough to make about 10 to 12 people pho. The lid has good handles and thick glass. It's easy to wash since it was non stick. Good choice for the kitchen.

👤It's not cast iron, so if they misguide about that, who knows what the coating is? Right in the trash.
👤I thought it was a cast iron skillet. It can come off because it has a coating. Most chinese dishes are not prepared on high heat.
👤A good wok. Cook well. It was easy to clean. The weight is light but not heavy.
👤It's good for stir frying.
👤I can do a lot of things in this Wakpa Dutch pot. I am in love with it.
👤Light weight, very good, non stick.
The 8 quart stockpot was included. Professional performance and classic looks are what it is made of. The cooking surface does not change in appearance or taste. The handles on the stove top are riveted. Hot spots are eliminated by the spread of heat from aluminum encapsulated base.
👤We bought this vessel in December of 2016 and now I see rust around the rim of the vessel cover, but I used a magnet to see if it was iron. I did not get the product that I was told was a product called "stainless steel", which is very deceptive of the description. There is a I don't recommend this product.
👤The bottom is covered with gray dots. It looks like the beginning of rust. I'm not sure if it's safe to use this pot. It's not the first pot I own, but it's the first one like that.
👤The first time I used this pot, black spots formed on the bottom of the pot, but I really wanted to like it. They are not hungry. The spots on my finger and fingernail are part of the pot finish. I will be sending this back to Amazon with a different brand. I have other products from Cuisinart that are high quality and last.
👤The first use was boiled water at setting 7 to see how long it would take, after seeing white spots, thought it was just water and overlooked it. You can see where the silver coating part has eroded away if you look in person. It's hard to believe that this is a pot from a brand that isn't a great one, but they are usually decent pots and pans. I have used the small 3cp pan version of this three times and it shows no wear. I threw the box away because it looked and felt better than the smaller version, but I bought it from A and it's authentic. Don't buy!
👤I have had this pan for four years and it has held up well. It's a medium-to-large size that works well for pasta, soups, and whatnot. The pot is made of steel, so it's safe for most foods, even acidic ones like tomato sauces that might get a metallic taste from cast iron. The bottom of the pot has an aluminum core to distribute heat evenly, which is good for cooks who like to cook with copper or aluminum. The sides are a bit thin and the pot is quite lightweight. If the sides were a bit thicker, I think they would distribute heat a bit better when you're boiling water and some creeps up the sides of the pot higher than the general water level, and if you're sauteing food, try not. This is a relatively inexpensive pot, and I wouldn't expect much more. If you want thicker sides, you can find some where the sides are a bit thicker and also have an aluminum core for better heat distribution. There is a This is not a bad pot, it's held up well and is reasonably priced. The bottom of the pot is nice, but be warned that the sides are a bit thin, so if that is a problem for you, you may want to go with something that is a bit higher quality.
Use and care. Before use, coat the press with vegetable oil and place it in a fry pan for 20 minutes. Dry thoroughly by hand-wash in hot water. The grill press weight speeds up your cooking time for steaks, burgers, salmon, bacon, and prevents bacon or ham from curling. The griddle press made of 304 steel is easy to clean and non-toxic. Laser welded, no bolts. The wooden handles of the bacon press keep it cool. The Burger Smasher is 7 inches in diameter and can stop oil splatter when used in a frying pan. The meat press has a sturdy plate that will not warp, and the product is the right weight to prevent steak or salmon from curling.
👤It was broken when I opened it. It was a poor weld, almost no one welded it. I can fix the problem with my own welds, rather than having to ship it back. I wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't broken because the handle is not welded to the bottom and will break eventually if pushed on.
👤This item was very disappointing. I did not write a negative review on Amazon but I felt compelled to do so with this purchase. The metal handle broke after only one use. It looks like it wasn't properly welded. I decided to pay more for a better product. I don't think you should spend your money on this item.
👤The smasher is a good weight and size, but there are some fatal flaws. The handle was made so poorly that the wood broke and fell apart on its first use. It is a really poor design. The texture of the metal on the smashing surface is the second issue. It is ridged, which is the opposite of what I want when applying pressure and wanting the meat to stick to the griddle, but for the smasher to easily slide away from the meat. On one of my burgers, the grip caused a portion of the meat to stick to the smasher and pull away from the rest of the patty on the griddle. I would have kept the smasher if it weren't for the 2 issues. I liked the feel of it.
👤I was a little hesitant to buy this piece of gear, without a lot of reviews or referrals. After researching a lot of different ways to "smash" your burgers on a griddle, this is probably the best single tool you can buy if you want a mixture of flexibility and ease-of-use. This thing is built. It's like 4 pounds and it's going to last a long time. Steak Weights are the most similar to this, but it's just easier because it's circular, like your burger patties are going to be. You don't have to worry about smoothing out the edges of a smashed patty like you do with the rectangular steak presses/weights. Most of the "burger/ bacon presses" have a "lip" that prevents you from fully pressing a burger patty to your desired thickness. A lot of bacon presses don't have the lip, but instead have some kind of wavy "ridges" instead. I've been using this for a couple weeks now, and am pretty confident that I found the right tool to use. You'll be able to make griddle burgers with ease if you combine a nice 5 or 6-inch wide spatula.
👤Stop searching. Buy this. You think you want cast iron for Smash Burgers. I did as well. There is a You don't want cast iron. You want this. I promise. I love cast iron cookware. I don't mind the cast iron cooking process. This is a better option. There is a The bottom is flat. You have total control over how flat your burgers are. I overdid it and got the patties so thin that they broke apart. Lesson learned, might need to ease up a bit. Most of the cast iron presses I found have a ridged bottom or a lip around the edge, which limits how thin you can make the burger. You don't want either of those. There is a It's also round. Nothing spills out of the narrower side of a rectangular press when you use that for a burger press. The smaller model is big enough for a standard smash burger. Depending on the type of griddle you are using, you may not want it any bigger. Your call. There is a This press is large. If you want to use it as a bacon press, you don't need to worry about the weight. If you need to clean up after yourself, you can use the steel. The steel doesn't stick to the raw burgers and only needs a bit of a rinse once it's done, because I forgot to put parchment paper over the burgers before. Cleaning, seasoning and storing the cast-iron version are not laboring things. Throw this in a drawer of your outdoor kitchen and it will be ready to use the next time. There is a It's more expensive than other models. It will be the last one you buy if you get it right the first time. You will use it quite a bit during your outdoor cooking months once you realize that you can make better burgers at home than you ever got from your favorite burger place. They are terrific. It pays for itself quickly. I have said my peace. You can make great cheeseburgers for your friends.

👤Thank you. This pan is gorgeous. Quite pretty. I'm afraid to use it. I can barely hold onto it because of the smooth handle. I can't imagine this being filled with boiling liquid and trying to carry it to the sink or table. It's a beautiful thing, but not usable to me. Thankfully, I have no issues with mobility or using my hands. I can't imagine if you had arthritis. Be careful!
👤I was surprised that the description sounded like what I wanted. When I opened the box, I thought it was pretty. The feel is great. Nothing has stuck to it. I leave it on my stove top because it looks great. You won't be disappointed. I cook a lot. I am replacing my pots with these.
👤I didn't see any reviews of this product, but I thought I would give it a try. The item was well packaged and had a leaflet about how to use it. You need to oil the pan every time you use it. I will not buy their products again. This type of pan is not recommended by me.
👤I made scrambled eggs in this pot for the first time and they turned out great. There was nothing in the pot. They came out perfect. I don't like making eggs in pots and pans that stick. Even if I use butter. I also made poached eggs in this pot, and they came out perfect. My daughter burned to near death when she burned to the pot I bought to replace it. I think that's correct.
👤The basic pan is really good. I like the speckled finish. The non-stick works well and the walls are thick. The lid does not feel fragile. There is a I use a ceramic stove top and pans that warp will heat very unevenly on such, so the bottom remains flat. I have had Circulon and Calphalon pans do this and it's not nice. There is a It's perfect for heating up soup or rice. I will be adding more when I need replacement pans.
👤I bought this pot to make hot cereals in. The inside of the pot is smooth and attractive. It is easy to clean with hot soapy water. I am very satisfied with the purchase and I highly recommend this pot. It is a small pot so do not expect to cook a lot but it is great for hot cereals and gravy.
👤When it comes to heat distribution, great pots are first. I bought non-teflon to not have to deal with Teflon scrapers. They are dishwasher safe. I have burned the wooden handles when using my gas stove, but they still smell, so I could have delt with this one. I bought these in June and they smell terrible when I use them. I've noticed that my daughter's Mac n cheese tastes like metal, and they give off a hot metal smell. I was disappointed since I love the qualities of these pots.
👤Wow! The little pan is easy to clean. It's amazing! When I ordered it, I was skeptical. It has turned out to be everything they said it was, easy to clean, heats very well, and is made amazingly well. The handle and lid are very comfortable.
