There are applications The shutter/exhaust fan with automatic shutters can help replace your ac unit by cooling your garage, attic, greenhouse shop or chicken coop. Adding a window opening or opening in the wall along with a thermostat can be done in a single installation. Coolin and vegetation. The shutter fan can solve all of your cooling needs. The wattage is 65. There is proof of aluminum shut-offs. The shutter fan is made of aluminum. This will prevent rust from forming on the fan. 120 Volts, 60W, 0. 52A, 1620RPM.
👤The mounting frame's edges are sharp, so I'll get the only negative out of the way. I mean really sharp. Use extreme caution, or better yet, use a metal file for 60 seconds to smooth the perimeter before attempting to manipulate the fan. This is a great fan. It moves a lot of air, is sturdy, is quiet, and the price is very competitive. We are using it to exhaust hot air from a room with a lot of electronic equipment, and it is generating a good breeze. It's highly recommended, but subject to the caveat about the sharp edges.
👤The black power wire was not connected to the fan motos internal windings when I went to install the 12 inch exhaust fan. There is a This does not work and the person had to purchase another unit. You can't find the company's information to claim the warranty. There is a The company doesn't state how to claim in their warranty book. There is a You can't fin this company because of a search on the internet. There is a This is made in China, which is just terrible. There is a The buyer should be careful.
👤The fan is working. It's not very loud or efficient. It should be ok for me to put it out in a storage room. There is a The thing is hard to install. There is a small box on the back of the fan. The metal plate comes off after you remove two screws. There are three knockouts for a Romex. I couldn't get a connection to go through one of the hours. I worked on it for an hour. The hole is too small. The connector won't fit in either. It is not right. I used wire staple to hold the wire in the frame, instead of using a connector. It's not right for something that has some vibration. Lots of electrical tape was used to cushion the knockout hole. It was difficult to get the cover back on the small work box because it was so small. The manufacturer should give the leads longer so they can be wired into a work box. The product is all about low price, but I wish the offshore manufacturers would take the time to make sure their product works in the market in which they intend to sell it.
👤The reviews were mixed so I took a chance on this item. The fan was loud and that was one thing that I saw. There is a I bench tested it and it wasn't quite right. It wasn't making any noises that a fan shouldn't make. It was not loud. Some people said it did not move much air. There is a This was not the case for me. I have a house with a garage built in the 60s. My A/C used to run non stop and during the hot parts of the day, the temp in the house would go up not down even with the A/C going non stop. This happened in May and June. I have a fan set up in my gable vent with a thermostat set to somewhere around 95-110F and it is getting hotter. My A/C is not running all day long, and I have an attic access that is open in my garage, which is much cooler than my house, as well as a fan that runs for just over half the day. I used to walk out and feel a heat under the attic access. There is a Would I buy this again? Absolutely yes. I would recommend this to a friend. Is there any flaws in this fan? Yes! The wires trying to punch out the punch outs takes a lot of effort and tends to bend the thin sheet metal around the wiring box.
Sticking to a budget can save money. No problem! The air purifier uses just 28W of energy, which is less than the UV-C light. The air purifier can cost less than $3 per month if you run it 24/7. There is 3-speed functionality. The twin window fan has different air speed options in order to maximize air circulation and airflow. There are multiple function options. To refresh a room, choose the cooling function, the exhaust function, or the circulating function to move the blades on each fan in opposing directions. It's possible to adjust the wedded knot. Accordion expanders can be locked to secure the twin window fan in place if they are from 23-1/2" to 37" Control of the environment. The included remote control allows you to change speed, fan functions and power from a distance. Wind fan. The comfort zone is 9in. You can choose from three different settings with the Reversible Twin Window Fan with Remote Control. Fresh air is brought in by the cooling setting and the exhaust setting. Wind fan. The comfort zone is 9in. You can choose from three different settings with the Reversible Twin Window Fan with Remote Control. Fresh air is brought in by the cooling setting and the exhaust setting.
👤The feeling of plastic is cheap. There's no way to get into the interior after a nut fell off the blade. There is a I'm tired of this junk. Thanks to Amazon, small business owners are able to buy everything they need, the kind of things which anchor communities. We have to buy cheap stuff from overseas and have it delivered by foreign contractors, while Amazon censors books they don't like. There is a Amazon would be shut down if America were a serious country.
👤This works great in my apartment bedroom because I wanted something cheap to keep me cool. There is a The only issue is that it makes a loud noise. On, off, mode, anything! The speaker comes off the board with a flat head screwdriver after being opened. There is a It works perfectly now that I have no noise or beeping from it.
👤Really like this fan. It's not going to cool your house, but it's not supposed to. It is small and lightweight. Some reviewers have said that the fans are individually reversible, which I think is incorrect, but it doesn't matter. There are three different modes of circulate, cool and exhaust, which are used to bring air in, blow air out and circulate. That's all you need. It can fit in a casement window. I'm using it in a way that's vertical. It has side panels that can be slid and locked to fit in a window that is about 36 inches wide or tall. It is very quiet and has three motor speeds. I don't hear anything but the air. It has a remote control that controls all of the functions, which I love for my application.
👤The remote is nice and the fan works well. The only reason I'm not mad about buying this is because I wanted something quiet and the motor makes a humming noise when you set it to high. It's going to be loud if you put it on low. It's not pleasant and it's annoying. I'm just going to use it, no more than 3 stars, wouldn't recommend. I changed the name to (EDIT) The fan has been broken for over two months. I can't return it. Loud and annoying and not a good fan. These are cheap products made from faulty parts that are prone to breaking, and you can read the reviews and answers to questions about it. The last window fan I bought for $50 lasted 3 years. This one is only 2 months. Stay away from it, it's not worth it. I'm mad.
👤So window fans these days... They are frustrating. They used to last a long time. I'm happy if they make it through the summer, there are very few options, the blades are small, and they are too expensive. I returned a more expensive brand because it didn't seem to produce any air flow on high and didn't have a remote. The cord wasn't designed to come up over a sill. I was hesitant on this because of the many reviews that said it was noisy. Everything works well in my house. I wouldn't call it noisy, it seems like a window fan to me. The cord comes out of the front so it can clear the sill. I was able to use the Easy Home remote from the fan I bought at a grocery chain. When this one fails to give an idea of lifespan, I will come back and make changes. This was a good buy until then. I thought the cover for the front was really nice, and the bug screen for the back was a nice addition. Circulation is what they call it, and it allows the fans to have opposite movement, as well as either pulling in or exhausting. I am quite happy with the initial install. There is a It saves me from breaking a leg rushing to get to the remote to switch it to exhaust every time the neighbor starts cranking his bike under my window, because I wouldn't be able to get to it in time.

👤I can't believe that I'm stuck with a loud contraption that is sleek and modern. The video is interesting. I thought it would be installed immediately. It was delayed by several weeks just like every other construction job. It was too late to return it when it was installed.
👤Great island vent! The installation was easy. It requires two people. I found it easy. I can't vouch for the included ceiling mount kit because I secured it to the ceiling joist. There is a Even on the low setting, the suction works well. There is a The lights are decent, but nothing to write home about. There is a The fan's sound is normal. I am in the construction and remodeling business, so I am not familiar with hood vent and airplane sounds. The unit is similar to other units. There is a You didn't install it correctly, and the other video review on here where they play the tv in the background. There is a loud noise. Either you didn't secure the unit correctly or the motor is loose in the housing. There is a The clock only shows military time, which is a minor complaint I've seen on other reviews. The clock on my unit is a 12 hour clock. It's in the 4 o clock hour, but it may have changed since then. I filmed it at night. There is a It's a 4.5 star unit, and it's easy to use.
👤This hood looks amazing. It is a quality product. It is not heavy but has some good weight. Make sure you have a helpers if you plan on installing this by yourself over the weekend. You won't be able to do this by yourself. I used 3 people, one on each side, to help me get the mounting bars over the mounting plate and one person to jack up the hood, because we did not have to lift it while mounting. There is a I had to take mine down because it was hanging crooked because my ceiling was crooked, so make sure the mounting brackets are level. There is no way to level the plate. To level it, you have to use spacers. There is a Make sure you have at least 4 to 8 inches of space between the ceiling and the sleeve. You will need to use the additional mounting arms. I wanted mine to be high enough to give me a better view. I only left myself a little bit to do the hook ups in the attic, but I was able to raise the inner sleeve to the mounting plate. There is a The lights are bright. The display is cool. The suctions are amazing. We were tossing papers under it and it would suck them up. There is noise when using a vacuum. This is louder than my bathroom fans. The noise is lower when the fan speed is lowered. There is only one item of concern, and that is the fan's sound of a paper in it. When I was a kid, I would tie a baseball to my bike so it would hit the spokes and make a clicking sound. It was cool on my bike, but not as cool on the range hood in my house. There is a They have well written instructions and trouble shooting suggestions. They do not address this concern. The only reason I am giving this a 3 star rating is the extra work.
You can breathe easier with advanced air cleaning technology. High performance. 5x per hour or 1,850 sq. is the limit for the filters. Independently verified test results by AHAM. OZONE free technology. Research has shown that using UV-C light can cause harmful ozone and pollution. There is a daily air quality monitoring program. The air quality in your home is monitored by their sensor and the fan speed is adjusted in Auto Mode. There is a night mode. When it's time for bed, the light sensor turns off displays and lowers noise. A replaceable filter. Their replacement filters are easy to swap out and are readily available for purchase. There are areas where there are reduces unwanted shears. Activated carbon filters help reduce unpleasant smells. The makers of Instant Pot, the brand that changed the way you cook, are now transforming the way you live and breathe.
👤I have had bad allergies this season. I decided to try to get the allergens out of the air I was breathing because it has been so bad this year. I bought it. I was sure that it would tell me the air quality was bad when I turned it on, because it would detect the air quality and adjust itself most appropriately. There is a It indicated that the air quality was great, ran at its lowest setting, and eventually entered eco-mode, turning itself off completely for half of the time. There is a It didn't do anything for me in my home office where I work most of the day. If I put it in my bedroom, my allergies wouldn't be as bad when I wake up in the morning. Nope. In my office, the same behavior was occurring. There was no difference in my allergies. I put it in the toddler's room because the diaper pail was a constant source of bad odors. The device indicated that the air quality was great, ran at the lowest settings, and then entered eco-mode. The air quality in all of the rooms I tried it in was the same. My allergies did not get better. The smell did not go away. The machine was not doing anything useful. I can use a $5 fan to circulate the air, which is what this thing did.
👤I have had a purifier for a week now and I love it. Over the years, we have bought different air filters for different rooms in the house. This seems to offer more cleaning than our other filters. This device is better than all of them. Quiet! I found the low and medium settings to be so quiet that I would check if it was on. It definitely was. Air flow was good. The high setting makes the fan audible. 2. Better purification. All of our other filters are just filters. The Ion technology adds another layer of air cleaning to our other devices. I read the specifications of my existing filters again and they show that this one does everything a HEPA does for dust, pollen, etc but also kills germs. The auto feature is cool. When needed, it only turns on. 4. The device seems to be easy to clean and serve. I don't think air filters are attractive, but they look better than all of our other filters. It is a great product and I would highly recommend it. I will probably give this device another couple of weeks to prove itself and then replace all of the other air filters in our house.
👤In the summer when we get forest fire smoke on the west coast, I research purifiers and sensors, seal all our windows and vents, and experiment with different fan configurations to stay cool while being able to breathe, because it was really bad. I'm not an expert, but I have been through this hole. This has everything I would want in an air purifier. The size and lightweight make it great. Wow, so quiet. The PM 2.5 sensor is built in! With an actual ug/m3 reading. If you want darkness, you can turn off the lighting, which indicates speed and quality. When it's dusty and time to replace, it has a simple filter which will be very useful. There is a I wish it had some things that it didn't. The only difference between this and other designs is that there is only one filter, but I don't think that makes it any better because the air is just as clean. There is a I think the giant drum filter will last a long time before needing to be replaced.
The product is 8.3 inches H and 2.4 inches W. It holds 16 ounces. High-QUALITY RANGE HOOD INSERT: The non-ducted filters in the hood insert remove smoke and odors from the stove. Incandescent lighting. A lamp lens distributes light evenly over the cook-top and accepts up to 75W bulb. Easy care. You can keep the kitchen fresh by replacing the charcoal filter. It'sTILE: The rocker switches are easy to use. TheDEAL size: The range hood insert should be above the cook top. Installation. The hood is either hardwired or an optional power cord kit. The black range hood is non-ducted.
👤The range hood is great looking and not too expensive. It's easy to replace on your own. Make sure you turn off the power at the breaker box before you start. Remove the metal cover that the light wires come out of, loosen the ground screw, remove the wiring nuts from the white wires, and move the old unit aside. Look at the old unit to find out which one to remove, hang it by four screws in the corner, hook it up just like your old one, white to white, black to black, etc. I used the one from my old unit to install the screw wiring cover. The power will be turned on and the unit will be tested. Take a deep breath and marvel at how much money you saved by doing it yourself. There is a It was easy, but it might seem intimidating. One didn't have a light bulb, so get one with you. The metal front and blue material on the back of the filter mine seemed nicer than others. The fan is not strong but I bought it for looks. I didn't get anything for writing the review and paid for it myself.
👤I moved into an old house and wanted a partially functioning kitchen. It took me a day and a half to de-grease the entire kitchen, even the inside of the cabinets, from decades of the prior owner cooking greasy stuff in the kitchen without a hood. I decided I would not cook grease generating food until I had a range hood, but what to do? There is a I lived in a house with my ex and we had a cheap hood. When I found the hood on Amazon, I bought the power cord and used it to plug it into the wall. I used the four holes in the hood to bolt it into the wall. I bought screws that were as thick as possible and still went through the holes in the back of the hood, along with wall anchors. The hood was mounted into the stud on the left and the holes on the right were used to screw it into the plaster. The hood isn't going anywhere because the left side is screwed into the stud. There is a I cooked my first steak in the oven yesterday, after grilling it in a pan. The hood blew out the pan that came up from it. I had a steak for the first time in almost a year. The prime rib is in my old kitchen.
👤This hood was purchased for a kitchen renovation. Due to the kitchen design, it would have been expensive and not a do it yourself job if I had one that was vented to the outside. It was easy to install. Any do-it-yourselfer with experience should not have any problems with the installation. The shipping was fast. The fan does a great job of moving air. It does a decent job of keeping steam out of the kitchen and filters out odors, but not as well as a fan that is vented outside, that is to be expected.
There are applications. Adding a window opening or opening in the wall along with a Speed Controller can be used to maximize cooling in your garage attic greenhouse shop or chicken coop. The Shutter Exhaust Fan has a rated speed of 1550rpm. The Fan Speed Controller iPower will adjust the speed of your Shutter Exhaust Fan. It is durable. There are no extra wires to deal with. Multiple Speed One control switch for variable speed settings. There is a power cord kit. The power cord kit is easy to install and includes instructions for how to connect the power cord to the fan. It is PoRible.
👤The motor and j-box on the fan are flimsy and the frame and the louvers feel like a well build product. The aluminum wires are from the motor. I think it is 16 or 18 gauge. The speed controller does a good job. Time will tell if this will last for a couple of years. There is a It is definitely not a bad product. It doesn't feel like an industrial grade. I used a timer switch to vent the basement. Be aware of the size. The size of the louvers is 12. The size is 15”x15”
👤Two fans were installed in our garage. The fan speed was set to medium and we wired two plugs to the wall switch. They move a lot of air. The product works well and appears to be high quality. We put mesh on the outside of the garage to keep bugs out because we didn't trust the louvers to close all the way.
👤I use this fan to cool my greenhouse. It replaced a larger fan. It is much quieter. The video has a lot of information. I think it's large enough for my 10 ft x 8 ft greenhouse. I have a few suggestions. When framing for a 12x12 fan, make the opening about 12.25 x 12.25 inches so that the shutters can open when the fan turns on. The blue film on the shutters is very difficult to remove and I had to cut myself to get rid of it. Do that first! The junction box on the fan is very small. I was able to use it, but I had to use the standard junction box on my old unit. The wire gauge of the electric cord is very thin and cheap, and is smaller than the unit wires within the junction box. I'm still very happy with it. The price is a great value.
👤Does what I need it to be. I bought this fan for my chicken house. It's easy to install and does a great job of pulling air out of the coop while pulling in fresh air from the window on the opposite wall. Installation was easy. The fan is on high speed, so it isn't really that big of a deal. I was very happy with my purchase. It came with a variable speed switch and an electrical power cord. What I was looking for.
👤I didn't want a huge fan, but something to cool off the summer heat in our attic. The fan works well. I got a thermostat controller from a different supplier on Amazon, and now I can switch it on and off as I please. The fan shuts off at night when the temperature is 95.
👤The fans are easy to install and wire. I use them in my generator room to exhaust fumes and keep fresh air flowing through the room which helps keep operating temperatures down. It is less expensive to buy a fan of 18 inches. I decided to go with the 3200 CFM exhaust because it was less expensive and had 30% more CFM than a single 18" exhaust fan. I don't need the speed controls because I want max air flow for my purpose. I did a test to see if there was any loss with speed controllers but could not see any difference in the fans effectiveness. If I needed to exhaust an attic, I would recommend these. Quiet for the amount of air being moved. I would make the film easy to remove to make it better. The blue film will come off if you warm it with a heat gun. It's kind of a pain without that. These are what they're advertised to be and are worth the price.
120 Volts, 60W, 0. 52A, 1620RPM. TheTILE FAN: The ceiling or wall can be used as a location for a Ventilation Fan to be installed. EFFICIENT: It has a 6.0 Sone rating and operates on 70 CFM. Easy installation. Tools are not required for a quick and easy installation of the Torsion springs grille mounting. Compact housing is easy to fit between wall studs. It's called disposition: Paintable grilles allow you to make sure the fan meshes with your decor. Every time, the Plug-in, permanently lubricated motor with the Broan-designed polymeric blower wheel is used. A powerful blower wheel.
👤I replaced a young man. The fan is the same size. I think it was 50 CMF. The brand lasts a long time before it quits. This upgrade was worth the extra few bucks over the next model. The hallway bathroom is a better place to do a job in. I gave it a 5 star rating on the noise level. If you know what I mean, you need a bathroom fan that makes a smooth constant noise and that is what it is. It is a consistent smooth noise and I don't think it is annoying. If you want something very quiet, then this isn't for you.
👤In 1989 I installed an exhaust fan in the bathroom of my home. I've had to replace it twice due to noise and vibration. The fan being sold today is exactly the one I put in, making it easy to swap them out. I leave the galvanized metal housing attached to the ceiling and just replace the working parts. I removed the fan cover, unplugged the cord to the fan housing, dropped the old fan assembly, plugged in the replacement fan assembly, and put on the new cover from a short ladder. The fan is a great price.
👤I'm not a fan of bathroom fans. I installed this one in the ceiling where there had never been a light or exhaust fan. I was concerned about cutting a hole in the ceiling. No worries! It was much easier to cut out the ceiling than I thought. This sucker moves air for a fan under 30 bucks. If you want more peace, then spend more money. If you want a quality exhaust fan that gets the job done without busting your budget, you won't get suckered by purchasing this sucker.
👤It's loud! "What?" I said so. Yeah, OH, YEAH. The fan is so loud that I couldn't hear you. This thing is loud. It works well for steam and toilet odors.
👤This thing has been made for several decades and is supposed to be an absolute workhorse. There is a The second cheapest full vent fan unit is easy to install. I installed it new and it seems to run well. There is a If you don't wear gloves, you will be cutting your hands. My hands are calloused and I have been cut three times. There is a It is as loud as a vent fan could be. I used foam tape and padding on all the mounting, and silicone on the joints to seal it and cut the noise, but it still sounded terrible. The sound of the air is amazing. There is a I will get a speed control for it to slow it down. I am sure it will be fine. There is a It is much quieter on the medium setting and totally silent on level one, thanks to the addition of a 3-speed control. It is like a jet taking off in the bathroom. I ride motorcycles yet I consider the fan to be loud.
It's safe. When connected to a GFCI-protected branch circuit,UL is listed for use over bathtubs and showers. The type IC unit has an efficient polymeric fan. The Camp'N Replacement RV/Trailer/Camper Sidewall Vent can be used with most popular stove/rangehoods. Each camp'n RV sidewall vent has hardware. Years of service will be provided by their High impact/weather proof materials. Lockable clips prevent the internal flap from being damaged. The opening size was 10 3/8" by 3 1/2". The opening size was 10 3/8" by 3 1/2".
👤The Ventline brand cover on our 3 year old travel trailer had really been affected by the sun, so I grabbed this vent cover to improve the look, I wanted an icy white finish, and that's what you get here! There is a I used the screws that were already on our camper to keep with the look of the kit. The screw holes are straight. I like that the exterior edging is more rounded than the old one. I was able to cut off the duct tube with a pair of metal shears because it was deeper than the one I was replacing. I promise to come back and update this description with my findings in the future, but I can't comment on how quickly it will discolour in the California sun. It feels like the Ventline branded one that I removed. It is moderately yellowed now. Unless you paint them, you can't avoid this happening with these items.
👤I went to a few RV dealers and found cheap vent covers for sale. There were plastic tabs and sharp edges on all of the ones that I looked at, they were cheap and thinly made. I decided to try a product that was less expensive. What a change! The vent cover was made from thicker plastic and trimmed properly. I didn't have to use the rusted screws that were holding the old vent cover in or buy new ones because the cover had STAINLESS steel screws. The product is great and the experience is wonderful. Must purchase!
👤The original vent on my trailer was the louvered style, but it didn't have a protective screen behind it. There were multiple wasp nest in my exhaust fan. I was going to install the same style with a screen behind it. I purchased the model with the ability to keep insects out when not in use. It's nice to close the flap when it's cold in Northern Michigan. It was easy to install the vent cover. Remove the existing screws, remove the old water proof putty, apply new water proof putty to the new cover and screw in. It was the same as the opening and holes on the old unit. Very happy with the purchase. There is a There is a loud noise when the cover is closed and the wind is blowing. This has happened a few times, so it's not a big deal.
👤I found that when this is inserted into the vent opening, it's too long and sticks out by a good inch. I had to use my hacksaw to trim off an inch so that it would fit, which was not fun, but a Dremel would be easier. It's a big design shortcoming, but it's at least fixable, given that this is supposed to be a standard size. The vent flap is still loose in the wind, and if you put something under it, the locking tabs don't lock shut when you need it to. I plan on installing a filter since I have the stove light on and the vent flap unlocked, which is really annoying, so I might just remove the flap or put lots of padding and then never lock the tabs. There is a The new plastic at least looks white again and not as dark as the old one, because the outer flange is smaller and it leaves dark spots that would have otherwise been covered. That's something. There is a The seller got it to me quickly. It arrived on the 2nd day after my order, which is always appreciated, and it is lightening fast, which is something that is always appreciated.
A high-quality fan. It is possible to control air quality in rooms up to 105 sq. with a fan that has a maximum capacity of 1.0 Sones. The duct is 4 inches in diameter. Powerful ventilation reduces to quickly eliminate fogged mirrors so your vision will always be clear and your surroundings will be comfortable. Installation of new/replace existing product can be done from the room side, without attic access required. Reliable performance. InVent fans reduce air leakage by up to 50% compared to competitive models, which results in better home performance via blower door tests and reducing cold and warm air backdrafts. It's great for the bathroom. You can use the UL listed over tub and showers with a GFCI circuit to make sure steam doesn't spread throughout the room. It's great for the bathroom. You can use the UL listed over tub and showers with a GFCI circuit to make sure steam doesn't spread throughout the room.
👤It's a nice fan. Quiet when running. It has an internal flap that makes it sound like it's shutting a cabinet door. The anti-backdraft flap, seemingly un-damped, is clanging. I have two of them installed in a new house. It would have been nice if he added foam tape to quiet the flap.
👤The fan does not have brackets that are anchored into the ceiling. The housing is screwed directly to the joists, which makes it easier to install. I had to cut sheetrock to replace a smaller fan, but I couldn't use the brackets I had designed. I screwed a 90 degree bend to a joist. The other brackets are not connected to anything. The frame is very solid after I put some screws in it. The wiring is easy, but they don't give any wire nuts. I had to dig up a wire nut to connect the ground because the neutral had been connected to a screw in the previous housing. The fan is easy to open and close. I had to connect my duct to the outlet. The most frustrating part of the install was that they are both exactly 4. I taped up the gaps between the sheetrock and the housing, installed the cover, and turned on the fan after taping up the duct connection. It's not silent, but it's much quieter than the fan it replaced and not noticeable with any background noise. There is a Installation is easy with screws directly to the joists. The cost is fairly quiet and there is no wire nuts or hardware. The fan outlet is the same size as the duct. Minor, but 3.9 inches would have made a difference.
👤The instructions are enough for a do-it-yourself installation. It is not quiet. The blower is labeled as 1.3 sones, 30% louder than described in the documentation. I was replacing my old fan with a new one. I can't tell if there's a difference.
👤We upgraded to these vent fans in our bathroom. The bathroom used to take forever to clear. The noise of these fans is the same as the noise of our old fans, and they can clear the bathroom of all the water in a minute or two. We're very pleased with how they work. When my husband installed the second one, he had a problem with the wire inside the fan not being secured, the blades hit the wire and made a terrible racket, but he opened it up and put the wire back in place. It's not sure if it's a quality control issue or something else, but it would be helpful to share if anyone else does. It is easily fixable.
👤Installation is pretty straightforward. If you put the box and vent in, then pop the motor in, then put the important stuff to the side, then simply put the plug in. If you are a couple feet from it, it is pretty quiet. You wouldn't hear it at a distance. The 'kleenex test' was done at about 8. The kleenex fell to the ground when further away. You don't see the motor easily in the grille. The fan looks nice and works great.
There is a two-speed gated control. The twin speed window fan has two output options, low or high. The auto-locking caulks are used. The window fan has auto-locking expanders that can expand between 22-1/4" and 33" for a snug fit. Plug-in power type. There is a resurrection function. The twin blade window fan has a manual reverse option that can draw fresh air into your home or push hot air out of the room. The cover can be moved. The fabric cover protects against bugs and debris while also preventing hot, humid air from entering your home even when the fan is not in use. TILE DESIGN: This twin blade window fan is convenient for use throughout your home because of its sturdy feet and carrying handle.
👤It was easy to set up. It works great, and we are using it to vent air from this room. This is what we were hoping for. I used a white foam board to increase the height above the unit. We rarely get rain towards that window, but if it does, you may want something more resistant than just a foam board. There is an update. It has been 4 months since it was first used.
👤It felt like a rip off. It is a fan. I thought it meant there was a button or switch instead of a remote. No. It means you have to manually turn the fan around. This is a huge hassle when not on the first floor. I wouldn't use this on a multistory house or apartment because it has a flat bottom and no notch for the window to secure it. The accordion sides make a small gap between the window and the fan. Absolutely disappointed. The fan should cost $5.
👤I returned the "Comfort Zone 9" product I received today. Very disappointing. Even though it was wrapped in bubble wrap and had a cord tie, I could see that it had been opened before. The fingerprints on the top of the fan were dirt brown. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but perhaps someone from the factory hadn't been wearing gloves when it was packed. There is a The right side worked when I plugged it in. I turned the left fan upside down, thinking there might be another switch. The left side of the fan would spin when it was turned a different way. The left side would stop spinning when I turned it horizontal. There is a safety hazard at that. The dirty fingerprints at the top of the fan gave me pause and made me wonder if it was a piece of equipment that slipped through the line. I'm going to go with the other brand when I decide which fan to buy.
👤It took less than 5 minutes to turn on the box. Popped in the window, pulled the sides out, slid the window down, plugged it in, and we were done. We run it on low because it's powerful enough to blow hot air out of the kitchen. The noise level is what I would have expected. It made a big difference in the temperature of the kitchen. The thing pulls air. We'll be running it on high when it's hotter. I will update this review if I run into any problems. We've been using it for a week.
👤I've read many reviews complaining about noise. I don't know what they expect. It makes a very acceptable amount of noise. It works perfectly. I use it in my bedroom and it cooled my room in 30 minutes. Who needs a remote control?
👤When I received the fan, I thought it was the wrong one, but I went back to my order and found it was the window fan I ordered. I got what I ordered by mistake. I will keep this fan in my kitchen as it will still work as an exhaust fan. The reason I didn't like this style of window fan was because it doesn't have a switch to go from exhaust to intake, instead you have to manually turn it on. If you are looking for a fan for exhaust and intake, or if you have to manually turn it around, this is the fan for you. I plan on buying a second fan, one with a switch to turn it into an exhaust or intake, and use it as a stand alone exhaust in my kitchen.

VERTIBLE INSTALLATION It has a 3.25" x 10" opening that can be connected vertically or horizontally to provide a versatile installation above the cooktop. 👤I bought this to replace the range hood that has been in our house for 26 years. The old one was almond painted, and although it still worked well, it was starting to look like garbage, with paint worn off the edges and corners. The underside was filthy despite being cleaned. It no longer matched our appliances. The old one has the same light and two speed fan as this one. We have a limited amount of space so I didn't want a bigger unit. The hooks were the same as the old one. It is much quieter than the old one, despite the reviews complaining about the noise. Since it's new, it looks a lot better. It's pretty much the same as the old one. It will last 26 years if this one lasts. It is very affordable. I get five stars from you.
👤We got a new electric range after 15 years of remodeling. The old hood fan unit needed to be replaced because it was old. I decided on this one after a few days of searching. Glad I did. It was easy to install and the mount holes were from the old unit. I had to cut a hole because this comes with a rectangular vent hole, but with a pair of tin snips, which is cheap to buy and maybe a friend has some. The hole was cut out in 3 minutes. It is quite, bright light, and the color matches the range just as pictured, and it is a $1 bulb. This is a good choice for the quality, appearance and price.
👤The product came in great shape, no dents or dings, and I bought the one with the STAINLESS STEEL logo. I wired the additional cord up using the instructions. There is a The punch outs for the vent and electrical were the only things I had fun doing. There is a The fan was pretty powerful and had an expected noise level. It is easy to change the vent and the light is a full size light bulb which is great for not having to turn on your full room light at night.
👤I was fed up with the look and dirtiness of the old broan my parents had and decided to get them a new one. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement. I found this one. If you install it alone, it was very lightweight, which is good. It doesn't feel cheap or expensive for me. I had to modify the vent hole in the cabinets due to the vent location for the other one, but other than that it was a fairly easy install. Looks great and works well. I don't have to look at the old one again. It's expected to have scratches but try and limit it to the sides and the top.
👤I didn't have a problem with the fan being too loud on the highest setting, despite the reviews that said so. It doesn't seem like a big deal if it is on high to remove the smoke when cooking. It was a perfect replacement for my old fan during our home renovations.
