The fresh extract grade of the beans were grown by Indonesian farmers at fair market prices. The beans are soft, semi-pliable, and filled with millions of tiny vanilla seeds, meaning they are soft, semi-pliable, and filled with millions of tiny vanilla seeds. Vanilla beans can be used in a variety of recipes as an ingredient, as a flavor, or as a homemade extract. Natural imperfections can be found in real extract grade B vanilla beans. Indonesian beans have a mild smell and aroma but are great for making a high quality extract. Their triple inspection process checks the size, smell, aroma, and appearance of the beans before they are sent out.
👤The initial order of the identical product was placed 2 days later. The first order was good enough that we ordered again after setting up the beans in vodka. There is a What a difference! The beans were smaller and the packaging was different. The beans were prepared the same way. The bottle smelled great at 2 days. The newer batches of bottles have a very little smell of vanilla. The reason split beans are left on the vine is to make extract, which is why grade B is used. The extra time on the vine allows stronger and more complex flavors. The beans did not show any signs of being split. I think the beans were picked early. The first order was vastly better, but I will wait for next year's crop before making more batches. There is a Many of you know that a storm decimated the island's vanilla farms. The majority of the world's supply of vanilla beans comes from Africa. In the year of 2011, the price of a kilo of beans was $10, by 2015, it was $100, and in the year of 2018, it was $800. Farmers started picking them before they were mature to avoid losses to theft because of the high prices. The supply of beans is slowly coming back to normal, because it takes about 3 years for a vanilla orchid farm to reach real production. Quality is improving and prices are coming back down. This company sent us one nice pack, and one pack that was completely different from the other supplier, which we never should have bought.
👤At first, I didn't notice anything. I put them in a container. Completely submerged. Some white substances were floating around in the vodka. I found that the beans were slimy and that the detached slime was floating around. I took out one of the beans from the first batches I made because they were fine. There was no slime at all. There is a It's one thing if these beans had been there for a while. I might think it was a mistake of my own, but a couple days. That's not the same story. I don't recommend them. I spent a lot of money on these beans, but I also spent a lot of money on alcohol. I was surprised that this listing has so many good reviews, but I think it's better to just give these guys a chance.
👤Poor quality. It was worse than expected. Won't buy again.
👤They were covered in mold. I used them a month after ordering, but it's too late to return them. I was very disappointed that the vacuum seal wasn't working.
👤I wanted to make my own homemade Vanilla Extract so I bought these grade B Tahitian Vanilla Beans. The smell of the beans was amazing when I arrived. In the next few months, I will be using my extract. The price was great and the customer service was great. I recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase beans from a company called Vanilla Bean Kings.
There is a real extract and real seeds. A premium paste with a beautiful appearance. This container is comparable to many gourmet beans. If you want to make the recipe work, you need to swap one part of the paste for one part of the bean. Similar to Maple Syrup with a rich flavor profile. Can be used in a lot of baking recipes. It's perfect for desserts such as ice cream, short bread, and crme brulee. 1/2 Vanilla Bean or 1 1/2 of Vanilla Extract is a great alternative to Vanilla Beans and is much cheaper.
👤I have used the same paste from the same company for many years. The NM is thick and very dense and has a nice rich aroma and is almost black in color. The product is almost like a syrup. It's almost clear with a few bits. It is quite sweet and thinner than a paste. I am uneasy that there is no country of origin on this product. I threw the whole bottle away because I was leery of its origin.
👤The paste is supposed to be very thick. This is not alcohol. Not what I was expecting. If you want an authentic version of the bean paste, stick with the expensive brands.
👤The ingredients on the package are not what is advertised. This is not a paste. The smell is very faint. This is not a mixture of brown water and syrup. I'm not sure if I can get a refund.
👤Since we were stuck at home for the first time in several years, the wife wanted a birthday cake. Her favorite cake is called "Swedish Princess Cake". The Swedish Princess Cake is one of the most difficult cakes to make. There is a It is completely covered by a Marzipan 'dome'. There are three layers of sponge cake inside, frosted with lots of jam, pastry cream and whipped cream. There is a I couldn't find the recipe for the paste in any of the stores I checked. There is a This paste is fit for royalty. I will use it instead of plain vanilla extract in future recipes.
👤It wasn't a rich flavor. Was not a paste. It was a liquid gel. I added it to my baked goods, but I could not taste it. I had to add another store bought brand of pure vanilla flavor to my baked goods. This product was very strong. Very disappointed and will never buy again.
👤This taste is great. It is a liquid that is slightly thicker than regular vanilla. It is not near a paste.
👤This stuff is disgusting. I don't know what it tastes like because I've never tasted a bean paste before, but I am a fan of the scent, flavor and taste of the bean paste. This junk doesn't taste like anything like vanilla. It tasted like plastic. It is gross. I bought 2 bottles of it, thinking I was getting a great deal, however, after tasting it, I realized it wasn't organic and I started looking into the ingredients on the bottle. If this were a real paste, it would only contain a few ingredients, including the beans, extract, and sugar. If you want a paste-glycerin that isn't alcoholic, it should have some kind of substance like a substance from the plants. I can tell you that this gross gel-like goo doesn't taste like any of those ingredients. It doesn't smell or taste like anything. It tastes terrible. I threw away both bottles immediately, and I will consider myself lucky that I didn't consume any of the disgusting junk they used to make this with.
The true-to-bean flavor of the Bourbon Pure Vanilla extract is offered by the Nielsen-Massey. The extract has a full, sweet flavor profile. All-Natural, Allergen-Free is a certified Kosher andGluten-Free project. Water, can alcohol, and aromadrian bean extractives. 1 whole bean, 1 whole bean paste, 1 whole bean powder, and 1 whole bean powder are the amounts of the extract and paste.
👤I've been using the same brand for many years and go through a quart a year. I'm familiar with the color and strength of the game, it's a wonderful, non gmo gf game and wouldn't use anything else. This is a watered down version of the original. It is missing the flavor I paid a lot of money for, and it has none of the transparency it should.
👤We've bought this brand of extract before, not from Amazon. The purchase of Amazon Prime was disappointing. There is a The color of the liquid was clear. The taste was similar to straight alcohol. We will buy it somewhere else when it's returned.
👤You expect to smell that sweet rich flavor when you open it. I smelled alcohol instead. It was very thin and appeared to have been watered down. You get an alcohol taste when you taste it. Not happy with the purchase.
👤I have purchased this product many times. I just ordered a bottle of alcohol and it appears to be straight alcohol.
👤I had rated this bottle of Bourbon Vanilla 5 stars but after baking with it, I realized it was not good. It is watered down a lot. This bottle is terrible, I only use Bourbon Vanilla.
👤Amazon was convinced that this was real. I ordered a bottle despite the negative reviews. The product quality was great, I did it a few years ago. Not this time! The flavor is bad. I will be reaching out to Amazon to get my money back.
👤The product is not what you would expect. The smell of alcohol was very strong. I would not buy this brand.
👤I don't care for the taste. I will be going back to Baldwins.
👤My wife and daughter recommend the product to everyone in the family and friends recommend it to them.
👤The cheaper extract has a stronger flavour. I am happy but not sure about the price. A little bit expensive. Will purchase again.
👤I make ice cream and yogurt. There is a This is the most natural extract that I have found.
👤Considering what you pay in shops for this product, I thought it was a good purchase.
👤I received a blended extract. The price was almost twice as much as I paid. I had to "prove" that I was wrong when I contacted the store and filed a complaint. They refused to admit that there was a difference between the two products because they had talked to their supplier. I showed them the differences between them and the nielsen massey homepage. I was told that I could get a refund if I sent the item back in mail. They could not do that, because I said I wantet also refunds my shipping if I return it. They forced me to take a loss, and didn't want me to take a loss for the error they did.
It was made with only Bourbon Vanilla Beans from their farmers. The extract is Kosher Certified and made in a wind powered facility. Rodelle supports sustainable living.
👤The smell of acetone was what made this vanilla smell noxious. There is a The taste was bitter and bitter bitter, but it wasn't vanilla. During the Victorian Era, some unscrupulous wags would sell nostrums in the streets, claiming to cure every ailment. I bought two bottles of this vile stuff, and thought it was a quality product, but after the first taste, I was disgusted and dumped it into the trash. I went to Walmart and bought a brand that was familiar to me. Rodelle's reputation has been ruined in my mind. I can't believe it started in France. It was named after a small village. Puant! I'm completely bewildered that the chemists that established Rodelle here in Colorado didn't get kicked out of the public for marketing such an evil product.
👤Really... I don't write a lot of reviews. I do when something is great or not. I received a pretty bad version of the program. I can taste an odd aftertaste in every recipe if I use a worthless amount. I can still taste it in baked goods, even though I thought it was in smoothies. I would have asked for a refund if I had opened it immediately. Hopefully you will have a better experience. If you have to, open it within the first few weeks. I gave it a second star because I can't imagine it always tastes this way. I will not buy this again unless I see a reformulation in a glass jar.
👤This pure extract is very affordable. I thought the price was a mistake when I first saw it. I hope Amazon doesn't change the price. I use this extract to flavor my yogurt. I used the more expensive brand before finding this. This is just as good and cheap. The extract has a strong flavor and aroma. I like that it comes in 8oz because I eat yogurt every day and a bottle lasts a long time. A small amount goes a long way. Don't hesitate to buy a bottle. It's great.
👤The bottle dribbles when you pour the product out, so I only gave it 4 stars. I have changed it to an easy poor olive oil bottle. I'm very happy with that. The product is very fragrant and fresh. I'm a chef and I'm picky about my extract.
👤I guess you get what you pay for. The price is good, but the taste is similar to a store called Cheap Grocery Store. Not the same as real Bourbon Vanilla. I might be spoiled. It's like comparing apples to oranges. I wish I had spent the extra money on the Bourbon. Live and learn.
👤I like the extract. It's the best deal I can find while I wait for my own extract to be ready, and I've purchased it three times now. It was rich and fragrant.
👤This does not have the smell or color of a better brand. I thought I would give this a try, but it went straight into the trash. I know that the best Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract is from the Nielsen-Massey. I fell in love with their description of this trash.
Does not Contain Alcohol.
👤I was expecting something from Danncy MexicanVanilla. There is a Most of the bad reviews are for people who want to replace clear or standard vanilla with this one, and have never tasted Mexican vanilla. Most Mexican vanilla beans are cured using sun drying and smoking. Smoking is not part of the curing process. The smokey, spicy, cinnamon like note that the wood used to smoke and cure the Mexican beans give is due to the MexicanVanilla orchid's flavor profile. One of the many flavor compounds found in the vanilla bean, and the most sensitized artificial "vanilla flavored" compounds, is also found in the wood. I have been buying and using Danncy Vanilla for over 20 years and it is the same product I have been using for that time. I think of Mexican clear Vanilla when I think of perfect and exactly what I want.
👤It was on time and as expected. I have read a lot of bad reviews about this product, but it is exactly what I expected. The reviewers must be used to that. This is not alcohol. I remember smelling it as a child. My mom used to use MexicanVanilla when we were young. They lived in Tucson, AZ and would go to Nogales to buy it. We were always looking for it, but neither of us knew the brand, because my sister and I now live back east and my parents have passed on. I was happy when I saw that rooster and red label. I got a surprise for my sister. Thanks so much!
👤I would have liked to read the reviews before buying this product. I was very excited about the price. This looks and tastes like water with a very mild hint of vanilla to it, and I have plenty of experience with using it. It is very thin and hard to describe, but I am not sure if it has any real flavor. Very disappointed. I hope people will know that I am upfront with what I found. I won't be buying again.
👤False adverised! It's weakly scented water, not a flavor. Zero stars and not returnable. Don't get it. Prime members get the shaft late, non-refundable, and nonreturnable. I'm starting to feel bad about Amazon Prime. There is a It's worthless for deserts, not drinks. It's alcohol free, flavor free, and free from any use.
👤I had high hopes for this Mexican flavor, but it tastes terrible. I don't understand why this product is getting different reviews. You don't know which lot you're getting, is the quality irregular? I will never buy this product again.
👤This product is terrible. I bake cakes that ruin Easter cakes. It has a perfumey scent, but it is not like vanilla. This isn't the same as the other one if you're used to using it. It made my tongue feel weird. I don't know what it is. It is not as similar to vanilla. They won't accept returns so I'm throwing them out. A beautiful cake ruin and a lot of money. I want my money back. Don't buy this product if it claims it. I don't understand how anyone who bakes could rate this as close to vanilla as possible.
Baking is easy with their tube pastes. Add to your favorite recipe and enjoy real flavor without adding the extra liquid of old style extracts. Their organic, organic, gluten free ingredients create a rich, premium taste. Add to cake mix, batter, icings, and so much more. OurVanilla Bean Paste with Seeds is made from 100% pure vanilla beans and can be used in desserts, creams and ice-creams. They use the best ingredients in their products to give them the best taste and smell. The technique used for the past 120 years is hand cultivated. Taylor & College is one of the world's finest producers of vanilla.
👤I ordered a tube of this because I was making a recipe for it. I was disappointed. The formula is a slimy gel and a bit irritative. The texture was off-putting and reminded me of a slimy trail left by a slug, which is likely due to the Gum Tragacanth used in the ingredients. I thought the taste of the seeds was artificial and cloying. Adding this to the recipe didn't give me any extra taste that I wouldn't get with straight vanilla extract. There is a Next time, I will use some extract and call it good.
👤The smell and appearance of this product was nice, but it was not much more than that. I wanted to add the nice flecks of vanilla bean that was more affordable than actual beans, but sadly I had to use the extract to get the flavor I wanted out of my cake. For the price I paid, I was not surprised. This product is great if you want to get that vanilla bean look on a budget. If you want the rich, vanilla flavor you get when using real beans, look elsewhere.
👤I don't like this product, it's not returnable, so buyer beware. The texture is not paste but a thin gel. Liquid almond extract thins out ingredients in recipes. The taste of liquid almond extract is very similar to that of this.
👤Imagine if you took regular vanilla extract and made it into a gel and then added a few seeds. It's fine. I don't think it's as good as regular extract. It's not a concentrated form because you use it the same in recipes. It's okay. It's not anything special.
👤You only need a small amount of the lavender smell and taste. I used this for a lavender cake I was making, and put it in the batter and chocolate icing. It was really good! I tried it in other things. It's great in plain yogurt, ginger beer, and coffee.
👤I made cupcakes with lavender buttercream frosting for a party and this product made it easy to flavor my frosting. The recipe called for grinding lavender leaves, but I had to squeeze an amount from a tube. There is a The flavor is great. My pickiest child devoured these cupcakes.
👤The product does contain a small amount of what appears to be a vanilla spec, but it didn't blend into my ice cream mix. After the ice cream was fully churned, they all floated to the top of the mix. I was not expecting a lot of sugar in this product since I was using it to make a low-fat dessert, but it was obvious that there was a lot of sugar in it.
The fresh gourmet roma Bourbon Vanilla Beans were grown by Malagasy farmers at fair market prices. The beans are soft, pliable, and filled with millions of tiny vanilla seeds, which makes them an average of 15 cm long. Vanilla beans can be used in a variety of recipes as an ingredient, as a flavor, or as a homemade extract. The boubon beans have a rich and creamy flavor. Their triple inspection process checks the size, smell, aroma, and appearance of the beans before they are sent out.
👤I was surprised when I saw how much the price of the beans had increased. I ordered 3 packs of ten from 3 different companies and found out they were the smallest, least oily and least aromatic. The weight in order was 1.40 ounces for $31, which was the best quality and the grade A/B, which was the price and pretty good. These were 0.62 ounces. I was able to make 3 bottles of vanilla with those 10 beans because they weighed in over twice as much as the ones I used. Not very happy with these for the money.
👤The beans smell good but seem very dry, I have used 4 so far and all 4 beans when cut open and just clump and do not incorporate into the recipe leaving large dark clumps instead of the beautiful vanilla bean speckles they should. I've never had this issue with the quality of the beans I buy at the grocery store, and even the cheaper ones do a better job than the more expensive ones. They are not eligible for return, so I tried to return. It was very bas practice Amazon.
👤I was excited to receive my beans. Only one of the 10 was plump and that was stretching it. The rest were very thin and difficult to split. All were moist and oily. There was no scent of vanilla at all. I have them and will wait for the results. If the extract doesn't work out, I'll probably look at another source.
👤Puny beans. They don't have a heavenly scent. All of the grades. The beans I have bought from other vendors are between 6-9 inches long. All of them were barely 5 inches tall. My grade B beans from another vendor had more than these. The picture was taken 2 days after the packaging was removed. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. Don't spend your money on these.
👤Another set of these is used to make another batches of quality extract. My first batches were made back in 2012 and are almost done. I was surprised to see how much the cost of beans has gone up. I don't need to make this all the time. I make it for my mother. She gives some to other family members if they like it. On December 7th, I added more beans and vodka to the mix. It will be bottled in six months. I will put some of the split into the bottles I already have on hand. The longer they sit, the better.
👤I am very happy with my purchase. A top quality product. The 10 beans are all plump, soft and fragrant and average in length at about 6 feet. I'm making a extract. I put them in a quart mason jar and filled it with vodka. I can only say that it has been more than 3wks. The extract will be out in about 3 months. Highly recommend these beans... The extract I made is absolutely out of this world. I am going to give some to my daughter-in-laws as holiday gifts.
Premium pure vanilla bean extract has a deep, rich taste and color. Every bottle has a consistent flavor. A baker's best friend cooks meat and seafood. There is no corn syrup or non-GMO. It's a great addition to cakes, cookies, pies and other baked goods. The pour spout is easy to use.
👤I ran out of the bottle I bought at the grocery store several years ago. It smelled better and said something on the bottle that was 42% alcohol. The bottle I bought in January of last year has different ingredients and doesn't state the alcohol content. Maybe there was a change in the labeling, but it also has less kick when I lick it. I don't think it's the same. There is a The ingredients in my bottle are not the same as those on Amazon. I'm willing to pay a lot more for good vanilla beans and not cheapen their product, even though the price of them has gone up a lot. Disappointed.
👤The extract is more dense than other brands. The taste is artificial and not the same. The picture shows the difference in concentration between the two products. This product is lighter than other brands.
👤I bought five bottles of this and they are not authentic. I bought a small bottle of pure vanilla extract at the grocery store and it tasted very similar to the ones I smelled. This stuff is not real. The bad reviews are correct, and whoever is selling this is putting fakes on Amazon. I poured the small grocery store bottle at the top of the plate in the photo I took. The Amazon bought ones are on the bottom of the plate. You can see that the grocery store is darker than the Amazon store.
👤Unless it is from a known source, don't buy it. I make my own syrups and use a lot of it. I know what to expect from this product. This product is not as good as the small bottle of genuine McCormick vanilla I bought from the grocery store. They stopped carrying it after I bought it. Those were complex and rich. The product smells and tastes like artificial vanilla with a strong alcohol smell and a lighter color. The quality of this vanilla has declined or it is not an authentic product. I think it's the latter. I am stuck with a cheap vodka because I didn't finish my old bottle before the return period ended.
👤I can't believe this is a product from a company. I will never do it again. It has to be different. There was no smell or taste. The color is a bit lighter than my last bottle. Rip off! Very dissatisfied! It's terrible!
👤The product is great. The description read a much larger bottle when I purchased it. The description was changed to read 16 ounces. After my order, there was no notification. Very dishonest in my opinion.
👤This is false advertising and it is banking on the good name of the company. The ingredients and description say that it's pure vanilla extract, but you can see on the bottle that it's avanilla bean extract. I bought water with flavors. It is almost tasteless. Do not recommend.
👤The product tasted a little watered down compared to my smaller bottle. I gave it a good shake, but it still tasted a bit weak. No one seems to notice.
The fresh gourmet roma Bourbon Vanilla Beans are from late 2021. Malagasy farmers at fair market prices source their crops. The beans are soft, pliable, and filled with millions of tiny vanilla seeds, which makes them an average of 13-15 cm long. Vanilla beans can be used in a variety of recipes as an ingredient, as a flavor, or as a homemade extract. The boubon beans have a rich and creamy flavor. 👤On most, good plumpness. I decided to measure the rest after running into short ones. Between 1/3 to 1/2 were shorter than advertised. I uploaded a picture of the length I was dealing with. It's less than 6 with many less than 5 inches. I didn't stop and return the rest of the items I was processing as a gift. I feel cheated for the price. I chose the item based on the length description, which grossly over estimates product actual length and is therefore a lie.
👤I wanted to make a high quality extract. I was very excited to start my process after the package arrived. The price of extract has gone up while the quality has gone down. The vanilla was vacuum sealed. The beans were moist and plum colored. Very promising. There is a The color has intensified since about 8 weeks ago. I haven't used it yet. I am making it for myself and my family. There is a I removed the valve from the bottle. It was poured out about 1/2c. To make room for the beans. I sliced each one down the center to make it easier for the seeds to travel free. I will leave beans uncut the next time. I can remove a bloated bean, cut off one end, and squeeze out the seeds for a recipe after I make vanilla. The emptypods can be air dried and put into sugar to make a flavor filled sugar for coffee, tea, cookies or other items. For a minimum of 6 weeks, shake your bottle once per week to make it more flavor and deep in color. It couldn't be simpler or better in quality. You can try it.
👤I was very pleased with the beans. 6 were 5 in long, 2 were 6 in long and 18 were 7 in long. The description of the beans was correct. In my pictures, they are moist and plump. I used them to color a amber color in 8 hours. I am sure the vanilla will be great once it has time to cure. I relied on reviews to find the right beans. I thought I would give one as well. I could only buy a couple beans per bottle at twice the price per bean, because the price is very reasonable. I am glad I bought these online because it was a leap for me.
👤Not happy at all. The beans were moist and plump, but they didn't smell like vanilla. The smell reminds me of smoked fish. It's dead serious! The company only sells quality beans. I bottled them with alcohol because I would be out of extract soon. I thought maybe it was me. They still don't smell anything like vanilla two months later. I contacted the company again and they have not responded for days. They would know what I was talking about if I sent them back. Has anyone else had this problem? Very disappointed. I have a cookie business and have used a lot of Bourbon. I know what it will smell like.
The best extract from Mexico is now in the US. DanncyVanilla is a true Mexican flavor, with 2 plastic bottles 33 ounces each. Use this delicious vanilla to impress your friends and family. The results for cakes-foods-drinks are superior with the use of concentrated flavor gaurantees. Enhance the flavor of sweet dishes such as coffee, chocolate, fruit, meats, and vegetables.
👤I have used Danncy before. I ran out and ordered this product. This looks like a lie to me. I was suspicious when I saw the bottles were overfilled. The smell from other Danncy vanillas was gone when opened. The taste is the deciding factor. I've made a pie every Christmas and Thanksgiving for the last 15 years or more. The taste is off. I still have a bad taste in my mouth after eating the chocolate pie filling. I'm going to have to throw out the pie I just made and make another without it. A message popped up when trying to start the process of refunds. I've sent customer service an email. I hope they do the right thing and give me a refund because this stuff is not good.
👤I read reviews before buying something. I rely on reviews because I believe that other people's experiences with products can make or break a sale. I have been an avid baker for over 30 years. I use a lot of it. It's difficult to get extract on a limited budget because of the high prices of beans. I passed on this Danny Mexican Vanilla even though it was reasonable and plentiful, even though I read many of the reviews. When buying anything, always remember one key phrase... You get what you pay for. This isn't something that's popular. Not even a whiff of it smells like it. It smells like turpentine. I couldn't get that smell out of my nose, and I second guessed my fellow reviewers. My apologies! I don't know what is in those two bottles, but I am positive that it is not Vanilla. If someone says that they have used it for a long time or that mom and grandmom have used it, you should be aware that they have never tasted or smelled real vanilla. The price may look good, but you will be spending your hard earned money just to save some money. I can't recommend this product.
👤This is a weak, watered down flavor. It doesn't have any punch because it's water based. I'll have to live with poor quality vanilla until the prices get more reasonable, because true vanilla extract is at an insane price.
👤I was thrilled to find "PURE" at such a reasonable price, as I love to bake. This product is not comparable to Vanilla, and I tried it for the first time over the weekend. It is a watered-down product and my imitation has more of a flavor than this product. I am very disappointed in this product.
👤The color is the same, but the flavor is different. They've made it smaller. I've been buying Danncy dark for 40 years. This is not good.
👤When you get a lot of bad reviews and good reviews on Amazon, something is wrong. I bought this despite my better judgement after seeing someone use it. Regardless. There is something else in there that you definitely don't want in your food. There is a bad aftertaste. After reading the reviews, I expected this, but I tried too much sugar. I looked up Danncys website and found 9 different websites that claimed to be the original, most products looked the same, but the bottles were different and the phone and addresses in Mexico were different. Who knows what is in this, it is probably some sort of fake. When you get a lot of bad reviews and a lot of good reviews on Amazon, something is wrong. Usually fake reviews. I bought this despite my better judgement after seeing someone use it. Regardless. There is something else in there that you definitely don't want in your food. It's just a bad aftertaste. I tried a lot of things, but it didn't cook out, so I was expecting this after reading the reviews. I looked up Danncys website and found nine different websites that claimed to be the original, most products looked the same, but the bottles were different and the phone and addresses in Mexico were different. You don't know what you're putting in your body, this is probably a fake. It seems to be cut/diluted with water. Not sure. There isn't much regulation on fake products imported from Mexico. It's better to be safe than sorry in times like this. I understand that it is cheaper than regular extract, but for me. This doesn't cut the cake. It tastes like imitation vanilla with a splash of arsenic to me. Everyone be safe. If you read this review, you can still buy this product. It's your duty to write a review of your mistake so more people can understand what you're saying. I'm sure the Danncy is good, but I wouldn't trust anyone to buy it from here. There is a Maybe this is what MexicanVanilla is supposed to taste like. I don't believe it.
Pure extract is a great choice for flavoring drinks and baking. 100% Pure is made from natural oils. Artificial colors or flavors are not allowed. Corn Syrup is Kosher.
👤The Watkins Pure Almond Extract is in a pack of 1. This product is the worst thing I have ever used in baking. I don't think you should buy this. There is a The smell is similar to the real thing. There is a Practically does not have any flavor. I used double the amount for a recipe that requires 5 ounces of almond extract. The original recipe called for 3 units of syrup, 2 units of icing and 1 unit of cake. I doubled that when I tasted the icing. I put 6 in the syrup, 4 in the icing, and 2 in the cake. That's 12 ounces. 12! I thought the flavor would come out after I bake the cake and give the frosting some time to mellow out. Everyone's reaction was that there was almost no almond flavor at all in the cake that was icing it. Absolutely terrible. It is unfortunate that the cake I baked for my birthday had no flavor. There is a I end my rant by telling you not to spend time and money on this product and to get the same product that I used on the cake last time, and it was fantastic. I get this for trying to spend less on a product. Don't recommend. Avoid at all costs.
👤I couldn't use it because it had no safety seal on it. I'm suspicious that something was done to it because it didn't smell like Watkins extract.
👤The product is just an empty bottle with the lid removed and the foil seal pulled back. There was nothing else in the box. There was no almond smell on the box. It's like the sender intended to send a used bottle. I would post a picture if I could.
👤The Watkins Pure Almond Extract is reviewed. Watkins products are more expensive in the local area than I am used to, so I bought them on Amazon. The almond is great in butter cookies, my main use for it. It has an inner seal. The small bottles are easy to use and have a nice screw on cap. It is very fragrant, it isn't bitter, and it doesn't taste off.
👤My family and I have been away from sugar for several years. We all love chocolate. I use Monkfruit instead of sugar and Cocoa to make candy and have purchased many Silicone and Poly molds on Amazon. One of the chocolate candies I make is with almonds and I use oil to flavor it, it gives an excellent flavor to the chocolate. Never use a LIQUID extract in chocolate. Chocolate will ruin itself if any liquid is used for baking. Always use oil. Amazon sells many types of food grade oil Additives. This oil is very good. If you are making chocolate.
👤This is added to my frosting and chocolate chip cookies. People can't quite put their finger on what makes it better, but this stuff adds that little bit. Watkins has excellent quality and flavor, along with a very reasonable price.
