1. OXO Piece Grips Wooden Turner

OXO Piece Grips Wooden Turner

If you're not completely satisfied with the service, they will give you a 100% refund within 90 days. There is a set that includes Wooden Turner, Wooden Slotted Turner and Wooden Sauté Paddle. The beech wood construction is solid. The large handles are comfortable. It's safe for non-stick cookware. Hand wash only.

Brand: Oxo

👤I saw the spoons at the Container Store and bought them. It's odd to say that a wooden spoon is quality, have a thick handle that feels good in your hand, and look great. Oxo feels like a high-end kitchen utensil. I treated mine with a light amount of mineral oil and they looked better and will hold up even better than they did before. I would purchase again if I had a perfect 5. I would like to thank you for rating and reading my review.

👤The three piece set was very rough when it arrived. The OXO wooden spoon was smooth and oiled, but this was a different story. I always wonder if I have gotten a fake item when dealing with Amazon, as I have heard many stories of this happening. I used a piece of paper to smooth out the wood and make it look like a spoon. The process of applying mineral oil is lengthy. It has taken me at least 7 applications. The design on these seems to require a lot of effort to be usable, so I wanted to let people know that. It may be better to buy them individually and hope they arrive in the correct condition.

👤I don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from. These wooden items don't cut it for OXO, a well known brand. I didn't know I was supposed to treat the wooden spatula with oil before and after use. The picture is from a few uses of the wooden spatulas, where the one that has been used has not been used. It looks like it has been through a garbage disposal. Would not recommend.

👤These spoons are terrible. I can not use them. They aren't sealed. They are splintering.

👤The spoons are pretty nice. They are an interesting shape, a little more'scoop' than a typical flat wooden spoon, and a larger more comfortable handle. I think they will do a good job. The reviews indicated the spoons were rough. I sanded and oiled them after they opened up a bit and became noticeably rough, because when I first received them, they didn't seem very rough. I would have paid more money for them to be properly sanded and oiled if it was not so easy to sand them. I started with 150 grit and then 220, which smoothed out the rough spots, and gave them a smooth surface. I didn't bother using the coarse sandpaper because the wood feels soft. If you have some 150 and/or 220 sandpaper, I highly recommend it. There is a I washed them off after I sanded them. I coated them with food grade mineral oil. I used to use a bottle of "Tree Spirit Mineral Oil" on my wood cutting board. There are a few types of oil listed on Amazon. I'm applying oil to the spoons for several days before I use them again. The instructions on my bottle say to apply a coat once a day for a week, once a week for a month, and then once a month after that. After washing the wood, dry thoroughly. Don't wash the wood in the dishwasher.

2. OXO Grips Nylon Slotted Spoon

OXO Grips Nylon Slotted Spoon

The metal accents add style. The nylon spoon is perfect for straining vegetables. The pasta can be retrieved from the pot of cooking water to test for doneness. Non-stick cookware is safe with Sturdy nylon. It is heat resistant to 400F. The grip is soft and comfortable.

Brand: Oxo

👤I feel silly for liking a spoon so much, but this is a great spoon. It is strong. When I serve casserole or other dense meal item, I don't think of it as bendy nonsense. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend!

👤It's used almost every day. It is still new. Really like it. I have several spoons but almost always use this one.

👤When I need to lift out and strain food from a pot or pan, the nylon spoon by OXO Good Grips is my go-to tool. The nylon material, long handle and great bowl design make this spoon strong and good at maneuvering around a large, deep pot. The round holes allow the spoon to drain quickly and they help prevent "escapees" that might slip through long slits in other types of spoons. The spoon's bowl is not too large or small. I think OXO got it right. The updated design of the grip is appreciated. The grips of the older style were too heavy. The large grip on this one is comfortable, but not big enough to fit in your drawer or crock utensil. I highly recommend it.

👤The other reviews said it was sturdy. The grip is stiff and nice to hold, but the neck and spoon are plastic, so it's not sure if it has metal inside. The material is thin on the neck and broke in the bag before it arrived. I wouldn't expect it to be abused to spoon out food, but I would hope that it was as strong as some of my other stuff.

👤It does not scratch pans, it is comfortable in hand, and it insulates heat. If left resting on the edge of a hot pot or pan, it will melt. It has held up well in our kitchen, where my wife and I use it frequently. It's a useful tool for draining food.

👤Oxo is a great brand. It is long lasting, durable and sturdy. I used to buy cheap kitchen spoons. It is worth a couple of extra bucks. My turner has lasted over a year. Would purchase it again without a question.

👤A good spoon is needed to strain food from a pot. The spoon is good for reaching into large pots. The spoon is a good size. The holes allow the spoon to drain quickly.

👤I already own a similar item with bigger holes and larger depth, which is great when removing larger chunks of meat/vegetables from a deep pan of stew, but it was difficult to use the bigger spoon when draining smaller chopped vegetables after sauteing for example.

👤The spoon was only used for a couple of days. It's well built, but it's shallow, so first impressions are that it's well built. It doesn't hold much so it's frustrating to use it as a serving spoon. A design change that doubles capacity would benefit it. I can't rate it lower than 4 stars because it seems good.

👤I can't believe how easy it is to use. You can't stop spooning once you start. The layout of the perforations is very useful at draining liquid.

3. OXO Anodized PFOA Free Nonstick Skillet

OXO Anodized PFOA Free Nonstick Skillet

The handle is soft and comfortable. America's Test Kitchen has the highest rated skillet. Excellent heat conduction and scratch resistance can be found in the hard senna body. The German engineered coating uses less oil and is PFOA free. Sturdy handle with stay cool, non slip silicone. The oven is safe up to 200C. It's compatible with most stovetops.

Brand: Oxo

👤I have used my pan for six months and have had great results. I decided to get another one after six months because it finally started sticking to the point. It won't last forever, just be aware.

👤Couldn't tell you how it was done. One was damaged. One side did not take a picture. This one was damaged after the replacement was received. I took pictures. Not sure who is to blame. There was no padding or anything in the box with the pan.

👤I received a nice note from Amazon apologizing for the issues and promising to resolve them. The pan is great, so I changed to 5 star. Make sure yours is undamaged. There is a This is the best pan I've ever owned. When I tried to order another one, it was damaged. The next one was damaged when I returned it. I'm hoping the third time is the charm.

👤The non-stick coating peeled off. This is not a good product.

👤The purchase date is left to right. I picked up these after reading the review. I don't abuse these pans, only plastic utensils are used, and the temp limits aren't exceeded. The three layers of the PTFE coating are still abrades. It would be amazing if you could get more than 9 months out of one. Amazon sells them at a discount if you can stand the warped mess. The middle and right examples cost $20 and $30, respectively. I wouldn't pay full price for these again because they don't last very long. There is no substitute for dishes with acidic components that would remove the patina from my high carbon pans. Please comment if you know of one.

👤I've seen it to date and haven't used it very much yet. Eggs slid out of it as if they had been cooked in oil, and it was like it should be, but not all brands manage it.

👤America's Test Kitchen recommended this item as the best skillet. Eggs and other sticky foods are cooked in non-stick skillets. This pan is large enough to cook 4 eggs, has a comfortable handle, and sits on my stove top. I have found that the pan is easy to use, heats evenly, and requires minimal addition of fat for non-stick, although I do add butter and oil for the flavor. I would purchase this pan again because I was very happy with it. I had purchased the other recommended skillet by T-Fal, and was disappointed with the crowning of the pan, so I just bought the OXO.

👤I ordered these pans because they were on sale at the time, and I was looking forward to trying them out. I had to return 2 of them as the metal was warped and I had to wait over a month for the final one. The pan is completely flat, so that the heat is evenly distributed. The non stick surface is truly that, I am watching not to scratch it as most pans end up being useless when that surface wears off. There is a The handle is comfortable to hold. The pan is a little pricey, but it works very well. We will see long term longevity.

4. OXO Good Grips Non Stick Frypan

OXO Good Grips Non Stick Frypan

A metal utensil safe is scratch-resistant. The egg pan isn't compatible with stovetops. The Gotham Steel Cookware is built tough for years of use and is backed by a 10 year limited warranty. Excellent heat conduction and scratch resistance can be found in the hard senna body. The German engineered coating uses less oil and is PFOA free. Sturdy handle with stay cool, non slip silicone. The oven is safe up to 200C. It's compatible with most stovetops.

Brand: Oxo

👤It is a rare review from my side. I use OXO for years, a good brand for kitchen gadgets, so I tried the frying pan. The photos tell the whole story after 3 weeks of use. I only use wooden spoons and utensils if it says "scratch resistant". To make the long story short, stay away from this piece of junk. I have never peeling after 3 weeks using the cheapest Teflon pans. I will serve you well with Cuisinart. What a mistake. There is a The photos were taken before the arrival of my new pan. The "German engineered" non-stick coating peeled off like it was new to me. German engineered it is not junk. If you decide to buy this frying pan and follow all the 5-star reviews, be aware that your next omelette will contain an additional German engineered non-stick coating. It's Bon Appetit!

👤I have had a non-stick skillet for 3 months and it had 2 small places where the coating was coming off. I use cooking on the average of 2 - 3 times a week. I wash it. I will apply for a refund. Customer service answered my first email promptly. It went downhill from there. It took 26 days and 2 more emails to get a refund posted to my account. The purchase price of the skillet was stated in the warranty. There was no shipping cost for Prime members, but there was a sales tax. The shipping cost was $11.75. I paid $12.97 for this skillet. A good quality product can be costly, but this warranty is similar to many others.

👤America's Test Kitchen recommended the 8" non-stick skillet and I have owned the 10" version for a couple of years. The 10" version is flawless in all aspects, but the bottom of the new 8" version is not flat after only 4 light duty uses. I was going to purchase the 12" version of the pan, but will probably go for the T-Fal pan, which was less recommended by ATK.

👤This pan is the best I have ever used. The pans have always seemed lightweight and flimsy, even though I love T-Fal for their long lasting non-stick coating. The pan has a great handle. The pan does not warp or bulge in the center when it is heated. There is a I am worried that these pans will be discontinued because they are no longer on Oxo's website. You should grab them while you can.

👤I trust Cook's Illustrated's tests because they are thorough and mimic real life circumstances, and the 12" version of this pan is the winner in the most recent non-stick pan test. They cooked an egg 50 times with no oil or sticking. I did my own egg test and it was clear that the egg did not stick. I got some egg bits around the pan, but they either came off with a soft spatula or a quick wipe with a dry paper towel. There is a This pan is large enough to cook a decent omelet and large enough to hold 3 fried eggs. It is not ceramic, but the chemical coating is unstable above 600 degrees and that's not going to happen on your stove. The handle is nice and has a good grip. The pan is made of aluminum. It won't work on Induction. I have yet to find a non-stick pan that retains this property for more than 2 years, so this is the perfect price point for a non-stick pan.

5. OXO SteeL Piece Utensil Set

OXO SteeL Piece Utensil Set

Care instructions. It's dishwasher safe. Place securely in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The set is perfect for serving and prepping. The set includes a spoon, serving spoon, spatula, tongs, can opener, and Utensil holder. The steel construction is durable. All tools have comfortable handles.

Brand: Oxo

👤The box says steel in bold letters, but it's actually steel with a shiny appearance. The small mixer is made of metal. Only one or two of them are stamped. They won't let go of the magnet.

👤I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the products. Some utensils are sturdy and others are cheap. The can opener isn't the highest quality one offered by OXO and we immediately discarded it and kept our older model. I wish the set included a spatula that was not flimsy. The container is too short to keep the utensils upright. I don't think this is worth the price, I would probably not buy it again.

👤The set is beautiful and well made, I love the lasagna spatula. They are very easy to clean. I've been using them for about 3 months and they've been free of water spots and rust. The hand can opener is easy to use. Hopefully that makes sense. It's the easiest way to open a can. I've used before. This set has 5 huge stars.

👤The tools in this package are sturdy. The box is very well made, the metal is thick and curved, and it's easy to clean.

👤The utensils are sturdy and hold up well. I have had them for a while. There are no spots, rust or anything to write about. The can opener and peeler have done well, no issues have been noted. I like having different spatulas. It's great for hamburgers, eggs, and more.

👤I like this brand, but I am not happy with this product. The handles make it difficult to pull out my utensil caddy. Many of the utensils are too long. Would not buy again.

👤I have a metal safe place to cook in, and I could not be happier.

👤I like OXO. Everything in my US home is OXO. The flipper/turner is a bit difficult to use in the US, but I like this set. I don't like Amazon's fluctuating price. The price dropped 3% in less than 5 minutes. On the day after, it dropped 9%.

6. OXO 2 Piece Grips Flexible Turner

OXO 2 Piece Grips Flexible Turner

It's safe for non-stick cookware. It is heat resistant to 400 degrees. The handle is soft and comfortable. It's great for lifting cookies from a cookie sheet.

Brand: Oxo

👤I like the ergonomics of these spatulas. The 2 pack of spatulas is available for $6.97, whereas the single spatula is available for $7.99. There is a difference. The single pack is awesome. The 2 pack is a little harder and stiffer than the single pack, but still good.

👤I can't believe these are OXO brand. I think of their products as a good value. They don't suck. The plastic is no longer at the edge. I thought it would be like the heat resistant Silicon utensils that are everywhere now. They are plastic-y and cheap, so not a good value.

👤I bought some new non-stick pots and pans that I was excited about using but realized that I only have metal kitchen tools. These are the ones I use now and they have held up well. I usually use them for breakfast. When grease is rated up to 400 degrees, I'm not concerned, but I could see bacon grease melting the tips. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm looking for it. There is an update. One of the units played out the scenario I worried about in my original review. The grease was pushed off of my pan and it fried the tip. I think they are good, but they can't be used cavalierly.

👤I've been looking for these for a long time. I bought some at a box store 15 years ago and have been looking for it ever since I had to throw it out. The stores these days are a bit thicker and you have to push the food around before you can get under it. These slides are easy to slide under pancakes, French toast, and eggs.

👤It works great, just the right amount of flex, and has shown no issues with the heat of my regular or cast iron pans. I had a previous version of this that was black for about 10 years, but it was slammed in a drawer and the corner fell off. It was my favorite spatula for cooking eggs. I didn't know if there was a difference between the two. If I did it over, I would buy this set because you get 2 for less than you would pay if you didn't.

👤I broke my pancake turner. I only used the red or orange one after buying them. It seems like it's hard to get the item, like eggs to slide across the surface. Maybe that is part of it. If it was smooth, things would stick. It is flexible enough to get under things but stiff enough to pick them up and put on a plate.

👤I was concerned about the construction of these spatulas after reading some reviews that said they were flimsy and easily warped. I am happy to report that my experience with them has been good. They are very thin and flexible and can be slid under eggs or freshly baked cookies. My previous spatulas were a little longer. They can fit in the bottom of my dishwasher without catching the spin blade, which is a good thing. The spatula blades are very easy to use, but there is a slight curve to them, but they are still very easy to use.

7. OXO 65191 Grips Flexible Turner

OXO 65191 Grips Flexible Turner

The dishwasher is safe and free of harmful chemicals. The flexible head slides easily. It is heat resistant to 450F. It's safe for non-stick cookware. The handle is soft and comfortable.

Brand: Oxo

👤It's just about perfect. Better than any other I've tried. If you are having trouble with egg yolks breaking, there are three things you should do. Make sure the egg is cooked on the bottom before you flip it. Make the pan jiggle a little to make sure the eggs are moving in it. There is a The flipper should be slid under the egg and turned over. If you want to be healthy and not use grease, scramble your eggs.

👤I'm very disappointed. The edge of the turner has melted even though it was used in a pan that was not very hot. The handle began to melt when in contact with the pan edge. Food sticks to the flimsy turner. It is hard to clean. I was expecting better quality from OXO as previous products were good.

👤I've used an OXO turner for a long time. I decided to leave the old in the RV and order a new one for the house. It was a big mistake. The one melted around the edges after flipping 4 pancakes. It was not left in the pan. Is this really an OXO product? Not sure... I am certain that the quality is not up to par. It was very disappointing.

👤I ordered the Oxo flexible turner to replace the one that broke. The handle separated from the turner portion on the broken one. I was surprised to see how little the metal handle went inside the turner. The turner portion is very thin. I ordered another one because I love its flexibility and thinness, despite the fact that the one we owned broke. It's easy to slide it under any food. It cannot endure temperatures over 400 degrees because it is made of nylon.

👤The turner is perfect for any level of cooking. The grilled cheese god was served by the product. It is a turner and also a nylon flexible spatula. I have used other good brands of cooking utensils and paid an arm and a leg for my last thin non stick spatula, but this one is a steal. The size is visible in the images. It is small, flexible, and hangs up nicely. This cookware is my favorite brand of cookware and I use it a lot. My husband and I both use oxo as it is a neutral brand for all cooking expertise. Their utensils last forever and are affordable. It's easy to clean with plus cleaning. If you don't have the right non stick tools in your kitchen, you can cause surface damage to your food. I have the best grilled cheese on the block. It is hard to master a good grilled cheese, that is a life goal of mine. There is a Even though it is dishwasher safe, I recommend hand washing spatulas. I recommend only using oxo brand pots and pans. When I use my oxo products together they don't get damaged. There is a The heat is absorbed by the metal bar connecting the head of the spatula to the firm grip. It can handle temperatures over 400 degrees. Don't go over 400 degrees if you want to keep it from being damaged. It is safe and doesn't get hot. The nylon turner head is thin and flexible and is perfect for cooking and baking. There are no broken eggs, crepes, pancakes, or cookies. Are you right around the holiday? This is important for baking. I used it on a non stick pan and it didn't scratch my pan, but it probably would have scratched it if I hadn't been careful. It is easy to clean and maintain, I recommend only using brands like oxo, they increase the quality of your food and preserve your cookware for years. This brand is very fair on price. The grilled cheese master has a small grip and no surface damage. Absorber. It is safe. The product is hard to get off and is a must for the kitchen.

8. Bialetti Textured Nonstick 10 Piece Oven Safe

The burnished alabaster surface provides professional results by eliminating hotspots and evenly distributing oil so the entire interior of the pan can be covered for better searing. A non-stick surface. It is metal utensil safe so you can cook and serve meals in one pan. Silicone handles offer a secure grip during cooking. It's oven safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit so you can cook on both gas and electric stovetops.

Brand: Bialetti

👤Amazon mixes reviews for different pan lines. The pans were 8, 10 and 12 inches. Our use is average for a family of four and these pans get the majority of our use. I have been waiting for 5 hours. I wanted to see if these would wear out over time, and I am picky about my cookware. The non-stick surface is still good. We never use metal utensils on this pan, we always hand wash, and we never heat above med-high. If we want to sear, we use a wok or cast iron. We used the pan for a short time under the grill at 450 degrees, but they recommend no more than 400. Handles stayed cool. There is a The non-stick lasts even heating. Good oil distribution over a textured surface, no fuss food release, no warping, comfortable handles, and good value. I don't care if they painted the bottoms gray because it is wearing off in spots. Do you want to buy again? Do you recommend it to a friend? Yes!

👤I bought a product from another seller a couple of years ago. I followed the instructions to cook, but it overheated and filled my house with toxic fumes. I have been looking for a similar pan ever since I liked the shape and size of it. I couldn't find anything that didn't have a metal handle. I found this pan from the same manufacturer as the first one, but with a different type of coating. I followed the instructions to the letter and the pan overheated and caused my house to smell toxic fumes. I set the pen on a table outside. The pan was so hot that the varnish and stain stuck to it. I only had a pan on medium heat to cook a pork chop, but it set off my smoke alarm. I was looking forward to getting another pan in this design.

👤I bought this set a long time ago. Over the years, I have tried every make and model available and have been disappointed, including copper chef. These are the best you can buy. I have never had a stick. I use metal utensils. These things are strong. I wrote this review because I did something stupid and was very impressed with the outcome. I decided to boil the water before I left to make jello so it would set by the time I got home. My puppy told me it was time to go outside. I took her out and put her back in the house and went to work. 7 am. I returned home at 5:00 pm and found that there was no damage to the pot, even though I forgot to turn it off. I was amazed. I did a stupid thing and it held up. I can't think of a better gift to give someone than a set of these for Christmas this year, and everyone in my family is going to get them. I could not be happier.

9. OXO Grips 2 Piece Silicone Utensil

OXO Grips 2 Piece Silicone Utensil

The dishwasher is safe. Turners, spoons and ladles are dishwasher safe. The OXO Good Grips 2-Piece Silicone Utensil Set is the perfect pair for everyday cooking tasks because of its durable, heat-safe construction and flexible design. Flexible edges are ideal for non-scratch cookware. The spoon is shaped for chopping and stirring. Turner glides under food. The handles are non-slip. It's dishwasher safe. Turner and spoon were included.

Brand: Oxo

👤The spatula is falling apart after less than 5 months of regular use. It's not as heat resistant as advertised. The tip of the spatula is cracking. The material has become harder to clean over time. I've had good experiences with Oxo. This is the first time I've been disappointed by their product's longevity. I have other Oxo utensils made of the harder black silicone + metal and they are pretty sturdy, so I'm going to chalk it up to this specific silicone. I will be replacing this set because I wouldn't recommend it.

👤I needed a silicone turner for my new skillet and finally found one that I was looking for. I bought a second one because I liked it so much. I've only had it a few weeks, so I don't know how long the edge will last. There is a What is that 1.5 inch dimensions? The turner's size is listed as 1.5 x 3.25" x 12.25 on the Oxo site. Is that small? No. The HEIGHT is shown by the yardstick. The spatula is 3 inches wide at its widest point and 3.5 inches long. There is a I took some pictures before I put it in the dishwasher to make sure it was real.

👤This ladle has powers. I was looking for a sturdy ladle that would be impervious to high temperatures, but this Oxo Silicone creation is better than I could have imagined. There is a The top edge of the ladle is flexible enough to allow for the soup, chili, or drippings from the bottom of the dutch oven to escape. I don't have to try to balance it with one arm and the other. Highly recommended! It is a great weight, has a good texture, and I think it keeps it from sliding away from me when I let go for a minute. It cleans up well. The function is amazing.

👤I deducted a star because of Amazon, but these look like a really good quality item. They came in a plastic bag that was open on one end and they smelled like they were getting sick. After washing 3 times and soaking overnight, can't get rid of the smell. It is not the way the product would normally smell, because it smells like things I have received recently from Amazon. I don't know when this will happen, so I've stopped ordering anything from here. I get it, but don't spray that stuff on things people are going to have near consumables, please!

👤They complement my new Williams Sonoma GreenPan perfectly. The spatula is sturdy enough to chop up ground beef and won't damage the pan's non stick properties. The spoon is the same quality. I hand wash them and they are easy to clean. I am very happy with this purchase.

👤I love OXO products. This is the brand of kitchen utensils that most of us use. I knew I wanted to get a better spoon when the nylon one fell in the dishwasher. Silicone utensils look better than nylon and last longer, which is why I like them. Delivery is quick.

10. OXO Multi Purpose Stainless Scraper Chopper

OXO Multi Purpose Stainless Scraper Chopper

Great for cutting dough, sectioning crusts, chopping veggies and more. The blade has quarter inch markings for easy measuring. The handle is soft and comfortable. Tall enough to keep hands away from food.

Brand: Oxo

👤This is in the category of "Why did I get this?" Solid construction for $10 is what it has. A good handle, a great blade, and a small ruler on the bottom of the blade. I assure you that the star isn't knocked for lack of quality compared to price. There is a It's been sitting around without use for a while. There is a My family cooks. We bake. I come home to homemade pizza, salmon picatta, rattatouile, and fresh made antipasta salad. I try to bake at least one cake a week. My wife is the chef and I am the baker. We know how to cook in an amateur home kitchen, we have the hardware to do it, and we love using our hands. There is a With that in mind... I thought I would use it as a scraper and chopper. That has not happened. I haven't found a use for it yet, and I don't know if a knife, pizza cutter, hands, or other tool would do as well. There is a If you don't know what you'll use it for, get this and pass.

👤I bought this scraper based on a recommendation from America's Test Kitchen and another from Dexter-Russell. The OXO Good grips scraper is perfect. The handle is made for your hand. The handle has a rubber feel. The blade has a nice edge. There are no worries about the edges being bent or sticking up. I like the ruler on the blade. I've tried a few other scrapers, and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't go with the OXO Good Grips one.

👤I love this product but I found out last week that it is not made of steel and it has a rust stain in the middle that I can't remove. I only use it about once a week. It was strange to see a rust stain on the steel.

👤The product is labeled as being rust resistant. I washed and dried the scraper after each use. After a few uses, it rusted. I wouldn't recommend this product.

👤Oxo products are very popular. Everything they make is reliable. I have had some of their products for a long time. This scraper is not an exception. I use it to pick up food from the counter and put it in the pot. You can cut bread or pizza dough with this sharp edge. There is a If Oxo made cars, I would buy one. My policy is to not buy stuff with a bunch of freebie reviews. Amazon has to stop this.

👤I was looking for reviewers who used this for cake decorating and did not notice many so I thought it would be helpful to know that this will work for that purpose. This is strong. I use it to smooth buttercream on my cakes and it works very well.

👤While it was functional and straight, it was good. The ends began to bend over after a month of use.

11. OXO 1190600 Grips Nylon Spoon

OXO 1190600 Grips Nylon Spoon

Brand: Oxo

👤I was trying to get a piece of pot pie out of the tin. When I can't find the spoon in the room, it cracks in half, and the sharp edge ripped a chunk out of my finger. It's not cool. The spoon, pot pie and finger are attached.

👤I have bought Oxo before and liked it. I got a new one. The metal ring connects the handle. The ring is not strong. It leaks out soapy water when I remove it from the dishwasher. I tried to get all the water out, but when I used it to cook I decided it was time to go! There was a lot of liquid in that area. Yuck!

👤Kitchen implements that are easy to get right are things that I am picky about. I have used many bad spoons. I launched an effort to find and buy the best kitchen spoon. I bought the Tovolo Silicone spoon. I will stick to the OXO one for now. The perfect middle ground is where this spoon is located, it is either a flat paddle or a deep ladle. The handle is comfortable and it's sturdy enough to stir and lift. I might make the handle a little larger in diameter if I could change one thing. It doesn't have any crevices that food gets stuck in making it. If you leave it propped up on a pan you can melt it, but that feels like a user error and not a design flaw. I put this in the dishwasher and I don't see the material graying over time, so kudos to OXO there. This is the best cheap kitchen spoons you can get and it is nice enough to serve with.

👤Just got a spoon. I like to ladle out soups over a traditional ladle. It is very satisfying to use. The bowl of the spoon is just right, and it scoops out a healthy portion of whatever you are serving. I don't think the handle is too long, but it is an inch too long. Maybe people with larger hands will like it. It is easy to wash. Oxo spoons, ladles, and silicone spatulas don't last for long and I have used them for decades. It could come apart years down the line because of the seam in the spoon where it goes from nylon to silicone. Oxo designs have improved over the years and some tools last longer so I am not too worried. The spoon is very good for daily use.

👤I told my girlfriend that I never needed a spoon in my life, so why spend the money on one? I realized that I had been looking for one for a while, and so I am reviewing a large spoon. I bought Oxo's and surprised my girlfriend when I presented her with a large spoon because Oxo hasn't let me down in the past. She said, 'your so adulting hard now'. I'm reaching towards mid-life. I've made it.

👤I've got 2 of these spoons, but it seems like I can never find a clean one when I need one, so three is the magic number for me. I love everything. The ease at which these products can be washed is more important than the price. I wash them by hand. They are the perfect size for cooking.
