The item weight is 3 pounds. Blue Diamond's ceramic non-stick is 10x longer lasting than traditional coating and is 5x harder. Blue Diamond cleans up quicker than copper because Diamonds are 4x moreconductive. Free of lead, PFOA, and other harmful substances. The oven and Broiler are safe up to 600F. It's dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
👤The description states that the glass lids are oven safe up to 425F, but they don't come with the sauce pans. Blue Diamond will send me the lids that should come with this order if this was a mistake. TWICE was mentioned in the description. How can you cook in a pan without a lid? I bought 3 BD frying pans and they're great, but they need to resolve the NO LID saucepan issue.
👤In the past, I have used a variety of cookware, including Club.aluminum, Calphalon aluminum, Farberware, and Cuisinart. I have been cooking for 50 years. These pots are the best I have ever used. I ordered a large set of cookware. I ordered this one because I need two smaller pots when cooking for just two. The heat distribution is good. Every Sunday my husband cooks eggs to compliment our Bloody Mary's and there are no hot spots in the pan. The surface is not as susceptible to peeling and chipping. There are no issues with the original set or this particular pot. I apologize that I didn't discover them sooner.
👤Difficult to find ones that fit the pots.
👤The pans are the same as advertised. The blue is non-stick. The metal handles get very hot very quickly. Twice I have burned my hand. I use the kitchen more than I used to so I put the pots in a closet. The manufacturer could easily fix the problem with more suitable handles.
👤I like these pots. They are the best I have had. I like the healthier part of cooking from the pots. They are easy to clean. I like their heating. I haven't had a problem with parts getting hot. Some people mentioned this. I wanted to replace my other pans because they started to scratch. I trust the word of the company that they are clean cooking, because I wanted cleaner cooking.
👤I've owned the two quart pot and the 8 inch pan for a year. I've never used a stick like that. I have a stove top that tends to oxidize the outsides of my pots and pans, but not these. A bonus. I would pay for the cost difference if they were heavier. Some customers are having trouble. You must use low to medium heat according to the instructions. If you crank the heat these units will quickly get hot and ruin the pan. If you use steel or cast iron, you will be a happy customer. My pot came with a nice glass lid. g
👤I have a frying pan from this brand. These products are great. Nothing sticks to them. Depending on what I'm cooking, I add either butter or oil. It's all you need. The pan is really hot. It's easy to clean. I did a dishwasher test and it held up. I would prefer to wash by hand. I made mashed potatoes with metal Wisk. There were no scratches. I recommend this brand.
👤I wanted a pan that was dishwasher safe and could be used in the oven. It should be easy. This is not common in cookware. Out of 3 features, skillets seem to have 2 of them. One has to read all the details to find out that cookware may be non stick but not dishwasher safe. There is a I realized I no longer need to worry about the dishwasher safe ability after using this pan. As someone who washes nothing by hand. I really mean nothing by hand. The pan doesn't need to be in the dishwasher. It's as non stick as the commercials are. I let the potatoes cook too long and the cheese folded over like a crepe. No soaking, scrubbing or scraper. There is a I'm angry that this material wasn't used 20 years ago when I bought an entire set of cookware. I wish my cookware was blue diamond. There is a The old school non stick material should not have been produced.
A shatter-resistant glass lid keeps cooking visible and the heat and humidity inside. There is a beverage calledDURABLE SAUCEPAN. The durable aluminum saucepan construction promotes even heating. OVEN SAFE: Nonstick saucepan is oven safe to 400 degrees F and suitable for all stovetops. Non-STICK: Enlightened. Superior non-stick provides easy food release and clean up. The Rachael Ray Cucina Cookware is a modern design that combines easy, relaxed style with everyday functions. It'sTILE NONSTICK SAUCEPAN: The pot and lid have rubber handles that are comfortable to grasp and shatter resistant.
👤I was surprised that any pans could be so easy to clean. I have a large soup pot. I forgot about the pan on the burner when I was making chicken soup, but I smelled the burning when I woke up the next day. I took it off the burner and ran some water in it. The finish was unaffected as the burned stuff just peeled off the bottom. The pan was as good as new after a sponge and liquid detergent cleaned it. The surface is so good that I am shocked.
👤I like cooking rice in this Rachel Ray pot. It's perfect for soup, rice and pasta. Non-stick is great. It is a bit pricey but worth it.
👤This 3-qt saucepan is deep enough to not worry about boiling the contents. After cooking, I only pay attention to placing some water inside for easy cleaning, and to set the glass lid aside until it gets cooled down.
👤My smaller saucepan is too small to boil pasta and rice. Water dripped out from under the lid of the pan and burned onto my stove top, despite the pan being 3 quarts and rice called for a 3 quart saucepan. The water had plenty of room to boil, so it seems the lid doesn't handle condensation properly. Since this has no spout to drain and no hole for steam to escape, I'll most likely return as the hassle just isn't worth it.
👤I bought this for my parents because my dad loves popping popcorn and his one he was using started looking like it had been through war, and he has liked using this new pan.
👤I don't like celebrity endorsements, but this pot has impressed me. The coating is hard and solid. I try not to wash it in the dishwasher, but on occasion, I lower the tines and it comes out beautifully. It is much more sturdy than I thought it would be. I'm buying the skillet for this collection as well.
👤This pan is an addition to my starter set which did not have a 3-qt size. This is not heavy. It has a Silicone heat safety lid and handle that is important for people like me who have nerve damage in their hands.
👤Use for popping corn. It's perfect for simmering fresh lemons, oranges, cloves cinnamon on a stove top.
👤The pot is large. It is easy to clean so far.
👤It was a gift that she wanted.
It was made using a top rated material 3003 aluminum alloy and coated with multi-layer nonstick. The bakelite handle is heat resistant and the two layers of interior are scratch resistant. Whether you are making sauces, gravies, boiling pasta, or simply reheating leftovers, you will get delicious results. Cleaning is hassle-free. To wash the saucepan, use hot soapy water and a cleansing brush. Leave it to dry after washing and avoid using abrasive chemicals. Let cookware cool before washing. Do not wash saucepan in dishware.
👤I ordered these pots to use on my new cooker. The items arrived undamaged. Wanted to use these pots right away, so I put them in the dishwasher for cleaning. Pots are dishwasher safe. The bottom of the pots are discolored and look burned, and the rim looks like it has melted, when I took them out of the dishwasher. The base of the handle is discolored. I've never had this happen to my cookware. I have been preparing meals with different cookware for 50 years. What would they look like after a few uses? The seller will be contacted for a replacement or refund.
👤I don't need a big pot because I'm single. I used to use the ones I used while camping. I can't do much camping anymore. I was looking for a 2 quart pot that was meant to be used indoors because the pots I had weren't the best for my gas range. I bought a smaller pot to go with it. This is the best pot I have ever owned. The handle is easy to clean. The pot hasn't broken down yet. It has been a great pot and I have used it to make soup, Mac and Cheese, and a lot of other things.
👤I dare say "Utopian" that the UTOPIA Customer Service is exceptional. Although the problem with this pot and the listing in Induction Capable was not their fault, they took care of the problem in a way that has gained a loyal and appreciative customer for life. It is rare and effective to have a customer-centered mindset. There is a I was on a page of pots looking specifically for Induction, but it didn't work. There is a The frying pan is the same make and bottom style, so it seems to be confusing. When the bottoms look the same, the product should be in an industrialist specific list. I have a pot that will work on a gas burner. This is AMAZON'S FAULT, not an UTOPIA mistake. I used the INDUCTION option on the left to search for pots and pans after purchasing a new burner. There is a The bottom of the frypan was the same as the top of the list. I thought it was too small in diameter to work on the burner, but I had to search the description to find it was not capable. There is a AMAZON is at fault, just fix it.
👤When I used the pan a few times, I found that the aluminum top edge was oxidation, which allowed aluminum dust to enter food as it cooks, and especially as the food is poured out of the pan. Dust rubs off on a towel. TheOxidation is on the handle where the pan is. The screw in the lid oxidizes and drips aluminum dust into the food. Alzheimer's is a known health hazard due to the presence of aluminum. Why would anyone make a pan that oxidizes aluminum? Was this not inspected by the USA?
If you receive defect or damaged items, please contact them through your orders and they will give you a 100% refund or new item. Warm tip. They can't reply to the reviews or deal with the after-sales. Please contact them if you have any problems with their product. The aluminum construction is durable. The quality non stick interior is easy to clean. The handles are designed for comfort and safety. The handle is heat resistant. A Vented glass lid is used to monitor food.
👤I would give this junk less stars if I could. The non-stick layer started peeling off after a few days of use. We wash it with the soft side of the sponge. The T-fal warranty doesn't cover non-stick peeling and no one at the customer service picks up the phone anyway.
👤After reading several reviews, I was worried that this was not what I was looking for, but after buying it, I am completely impressed. I oiled it before I used it, and always wash it by hand, and only use silicone utensils. I have had it for two years now and have not had any issues with the handle coming loose, scratching or markings on the bottom surface, it definitely comes in handy. There is a hole in the lid to allow steam to escape. This pan is easy to clean. The pan is well-made and ready to be used many times.
👤The pot is made of aluminum and has a quality non-stick interior for easy cooking and easy clean up, and a vented glass lid to easily monitor food while cooking. There is a small space between the handle knob and the glass after washing. You can get the water out by shaking the lid at an angle. I am not sure if this was a one-off case. I don't see the purpose of having that small space.
👤Three months after buying this pan, it is useless. I tried to screw the handle back in place. The handle is so loose that I am afraid it will break off as I carry the pan from the stove to the sink. Trying to tighten the screws is no longer an option. It doesn't work. I would look for a different pan.
👤The pots were a great deal for the first few weeks. The non-stick coating was easy to clean and did everything I needed it to. They scratched very easily. I have never used knives, metal utensils, abrasive cleaners, or pads, and only wooden or plastic utensils, sponges, and simple dish soap. I have no idea where the large gashes in the pots that I've bought came from. I contacted T-fal customer service to discuss replacing the pots under warranty because if they were scratching this easily from plastic utensils, then surely something was manufactured wrong. T-fal looked at the pictures I sent them and claimed nothing was wrong on their end, and they wouldn't qualify for warranty. I was very disappointed with the service I received from T-fal. I will not purchase from them again. Two stars since they arrived, but it's clear from the price and performance that these are cheap pots that aren't worth buying if you're looking for long term usage like I was.
👤I would have given it a 5 star rating by the time I received it, but it had scratches on the surface. I use wooden and rubber spoons. I pulled the pot out of the cupboard and discovered before cooking my rice that a big chunk of the coating was starting to peel. It is no longer usable. My pots used to last a long time. This is terrible. I wouldn't waste my money.
The set includes an 8.5-inch fry pan and a 2.5 quart sauce pan, two kitchen mainstays that can be used to sear/fry at high heat and make sauces or heat liquids. All stovetops are compatible. You can use the dishwasher to free your hand. The nonstick coating is professional and long- lasting. 100 percent non-toxic, free of PFOA, PFOS and lead. For a clean, less oil is needed. Vented glass and a cool touch handle. The handle is anti-slip for a comfortable grip. The glass lid has a steam vent. The energy-saving efficiency of pressed aluminum is three times that of cast iron. The stylish red saucepan is a great decoration in your kitchen, as well as the perfect useful gift for your families and friends.
👤Only used on the top of the stove. The handle to the pan attachment was well designed. incomprehensible. I bought a frying pan from the same manufacturer. It's sold on Amazon as "Sakuchi Frying Pan Egg Pan Nonstick 9.5 inch Skillet with lid Induction Cookware Christmas Gifts, Red". My sister was going to try the pot that I bought for her.
👤The color is pretty. I'm afraid to use it yet. The instructions caution against using it on a burner or eye set on high. What is the best boiler to use on high? I want to cook something. I want to cook now.
👤I needed a new pot and didn't want to get a new set yet. This works well all-around. Great value as well. It's my wife's favorite pot. We might have to keep getting these even after we get a new set. There is a The color looks great on the stove.
👤Great pot! I use it to cook soup. The soup does not heat quickly but the handle stays cool. No hassle, cleans up real good.
👤When I saw the most beautiful red color, I was so happy. I'm returning all the other pots that are steel. Soo heavy. This is a great pot.
👤This is the type of product one needs if they transition to an all-organic way of cooking. It's ideal to make smaller portions of delicious recipes.
👤The lid can break. I threw the box away because I didn't expect it, now I can't return it. Hopefully they will send me a lid that fits. I don't know if they are all like this, or if I received a faulty lid.
👤It serves its purpose. Love it. It is easy to clean. After washing the pot, season it with lite oil to preserve the non stick cooking.
It'sTILE NONSTICK SAUCEPAN: The pot and lid have rubber handles that are comfortable to grasp and shatter resistant. The ultimate release is ensured by the award winning Ti-Cerama coating. A metal utensil safe is scratch-proof. The lightweight design makes cooking comfortable. The pots and pans are oven safe up to 500 F. The dishwasher safe makes it easy to clean up. The handles are cool to the touch. PTHE, PFOA, and PFOS are free to use in the steel products of Gotham Steel.
👤I bought a set of 4 of these pots and pans and I thought they were great at first. They lose their non-stick ability over time. I have had them for less than six months and they are still very sturdy.
👤I bought this a long time ago. I use it a lot. It was great at first. It is no longer non- stick after about 5 months. I never used metal utensils. I have to remove food that sticks to the bottom during cooking. I left it soaking to help remove the build up food. I wasted my money. The price should last longer than 6 months. Terrible product.
👤I have a red pan and three other pans. The best brand is the Gotham. You should buy the pans with your eyes open because they do scratch. I don't put the pans in the dishwasher because they are very easy to clean. Silicone utensils do scratch. I love the pans from Gotham Steel and now have three of them because they seem to be better quality. You have to take care of them.
👤The properties of the nonstick are great. The handle makes me give it 3 stars. The handle makes it a 1 star. When you grab it, it digs into your hand because it is not smooth or rounded. It's not good when you need to dump stuff out because it gets heavy and hurts.
👤This pan is great for making soup and stir fry. I don't have to use oils or fats to keep food from sticking to the pan. There is a Delivery: It was backordered so it would last 10 days. It is easy to take off the packaging upon arrival. There is a I love this pan. It's light and the heat distributes evenly. There is a way to make sure food doesn't get out of the pan during transfer. It's great that no one sticks to it. It took a little practice to get used to the non stick ceramic. fat: I love cooking with these pans. They are my go to pans and I have bought 3 total. They can be used in both the oven and the stove. They are light. I'm having fun cooking with them.
👤I haven't used it much yet because I'm alone. I will be making soup soon. I use it every morning because I don't have another suitable pan and it works just like it says. When I finish my oatmeal it slides into the bow. I have the best pan. And right after. I wash it so I can see how little effort it takes. A quick wash and dry. That's what I'm talking about.
👤It is a superior non stick surface and is large for a pot. Since buying it, we've used it every day. It's great for preparing food, such as eggs, veggies, and cheese. 100% non stick! This thing is garbage. Everything sticks to it! I never used metal utensils. There are no visible scratches. I think the reason it lasted 6 months is that I can't return it.
The best gift for family, friends and loved ones is the housewarming gift. The best part of the set is the pots and pans. They have always got your back. There is a lifetime guarantee for the product purchased from Avalon. The mockins 3 Piece Steaming Set is made from heavy duty 18/8 steel. They have you covered, so cook up a storm and enjoy your food.
👤I have been looking for a set of steamer pots. This review would be accurate because I have used this many times. I am 70 years old and have a gas range. After many steaming's, I have no flames or heat marks on the bottom Pot. There are no flames or heat marks on the sides of the Pot. I mixed some water and white vinegar with warm water and noticed some spots on the bottom pot. They came out. Did not use any pads. I use it every third time. I wash it the other time. It always comes out... I cook vegetables and chicken. I shred roasted chicken and freeze it. The steamer leaves my chicken moist. I have steamed my potatoes and they are great. I steam my vegetables on low heat until I can push them apart with my spoon. I will no longer use my microwave. Always cleans up, strainer always cleans up. I am happy with this product. The handle is welded on, not riveted on.
👤Although it is my practice to always buy products through Amazon whenever possible, that are made in America, I ordered this pot set knowing that it is made in China because the primary source of buyer information through feed backs convinced me that this is a quality, well made product, and upon receiving The quality, material, and durability are just as high as other previously pot purchases made by Revereware or Farberware. I wish my purchases on Amazon turned out great.
👤So far, so good! It is easy to use and clean. We were using a steam basket that was collapsing and it was difficult to clean because it kept falling apart. This is a great replacement. A family of 3 has a great size. There is a It is easy to clean off the pot because my husband uses it for who knows what. We use it as a steamer at least twice a week. I am really happy with this purchase.
👤The steamer pot has a lot of things that I like about it. It makes me feel sick when I use it. The smell won't go away when I use it. I would like to return it. Maybe it's too late.
👤It produced a bad chemical smell in my house, it was the plastic part they used. I will return it. The looking and size are perfect.
👤I have used all of them a number of times and cleaned them a number of times. You are doing it wrong if you have burning and cleaning issues. I haven't had anything stick so bad a green scrubber, hot water, and elbow grease hasn't been able to clean up. I had a stick that was bad because I got the pan too hot. These pots and pans are meant to be used for cooking. They will pick up some character along the way, because they will dull some with use and proper cleaning. The brand name will be removed from the pots and the gradients will be removed from the bottom. It means you are cleaning it well. They should not be washed in the dishwasher because they are dishwasher safe. For the best results, wash and dry immediately. The majority of the negative reviews I have seen seem to be due to user error. This is a great set that should last a long time if taken care of properly. The pictures of the small frying pan are from when I cooked the scrambled eggs. I only used a soapy sponge and hot water. If things get stuck or discolored, I hit them with the green scrubber, which does scratch the mirror finish, but they aren't meant to stay shiny forever if you're doing it right.
The Duxtop cooking pot is perfect for even the most seasoned cooks. It could be used as a milk pot, noodle pot, soup pot, etc. There is cookware for generation. Farberware makes it easy to prepare and share favorite meals. It was made to last. Sturdy aluminum cookware construction has good heat control. A touch of saucepot style is added to the kitchen by the colorful stain-resistant exterior of the super onion sauce. A shatter-resistant glass lid keeps cooking visible and the heat and humidity inside.
👤I have never had a gas stove in my marriage. It took some getting used to. I don't like it because it ruined my old cookware. It changed color and became spotted, and there was nothing I could do about it. I ordered the 4 quart soup pot. soup pot I ordered the 3 quart. I plan on ordering the frypan with cover. I love the color of it, but the flames from the gas stove don't do anything to the pots and it's reasonably priced.
👤I don't like the metal lid handle or the pot handle. They get hot.
👤I used the pan for 5 months. The non-stick material is not good. The entire thing is only used for 5 months. Not a good product. When looking for something durable, don't go for it.
👤The surface becomes scratched after a few months of light use. The nylon utensils only touched the interior of the pan. I have limited expectations of this product, but I expect more. The pan is light and cheap. I went to the Farberware website to discuss this. The options are not good. Three days a week, live chat is available. I tried to reach them on Facebook. I received an auto reply. They say they are committed to my satisfaction, but I am not convinced. I will be looking for a different cookware purchase. I have updated this review based on recent developments.
👤My husband and I always make giant pots of beans, lentils, curry, or soups and it's too much for us. This is 3 quarts. It's perfect for us, with leftovers to spare. Excellent quality too. My husband wants another one.
👤I heard a pop sound on my stove and it burned a hole in it.
👤The price was right and I love it! It's difficult to find pots without buying the entire set. This was a pleasant surprise.
👤I had high hopes for this product. It was the perfect size and color for my kitchen. I was very disappointed after the first use. When I drained the pasta, I noticed black things all over. The coating on the pan seems to be chipping off. I scratched the bottom with my finger and black bits came off. I am glad I didn't see the coating peeling off because I don't know how bad it could be. I want to warn anyone who is looking to buy this or anyone who has already bought this to be extra careful when cooking. Hope this helps.
👤It arrived quickly. Just the right shape. I like the height of the pot. Use it all the time. Cleans well. I would recommend anyone to get a very versatile pot in their kitchen.
👤I would have thought the pots were more durable. It works well and is lightweight. A thicker base could be used.
👤The product does everything a pot is supposed to do. Teflon is easy to clean.
👤I used it to make soup. It's easy to clean and large. The lid handle gets hot.
A Vented glass lid is used to monitor food. Michelangelo Nonstick is a scissor reistant. 3 The pan is perfect for cooking vegetables, sauces, pasta or soup. It is ideal for use with minimum oil and lots of flavor, because of the superior Ceramic and Titanium interior. Cleans up quickly. The small pot with lid is made of professional grade aluminum alloy that conducts heat quickly and evenly with precise temperature control and no hot spot. No peeling or chipping. The small copper pots have a heat resistant glass lid that makes viewing food easy. It makes a food taste better. The long, heavy-duty handles give you a comfortable grip. The copper sauce pan's handles are double-riveted and stay cool to the touch. It's ideal for healthy cooking. Michelangelo is a 3 quart saucepan with a lid. It works on all stovetops. The oven is safe up to 450F. The package includes a pan with a lid.
👤The pan is super. There was no sticking. One big problem. The handle on top of the lid gets very hot when the pan is heated. It is loose.
👤After 3-4 times of use, the coating peels off.
👤Does not work correctly in the cooker. It barely gets warm on 'High'. The stove was tested with other better quality pans. There is a If using an electric stove... Don't buy this!
👤I love this pan. Since covid, I have cooked in it 100 times. They recommend wood or plastic. It has not been washed with soap or scrub pads. It is ready to go again if you rinse it and wipe it out with a paper towel. There is a The bottom is good quality and doesn't warp, which makes it good for scrambled eggs or anything. There is a You can fry up food without making a mess with the lid on. There is a The quality is still close to what it was when it was new. I have been waiting for the day when nothing will fall out of the pan. I'm impressed with the price. Stir fry, soup, hamburger helpers... Any and all bachelor food is compatible.
👤Thus far, the best pot for me. After a few months of daily usage, the lining hasn't shown any signs of peeling. It was well packaged and durable. It is easy to wash and clean. I think this one missed the QC on the lid handle. The handle becomes loose. I realized it was the inner plastic washer's side that was damaged. It works fine, but needs to be tightened up. I would have to send it back for a new one if it was used in a restaurant kitchen. I like it. I would buy another product from them. Hopefully, no issues with that.
👤I wanted to make mac and cheese for my kids and I needed this to fill a gap in my pots. The clean up is easy, even though a few pieces of pasta wanted to stay in the pot. Even though my stove is not very modern, the heat distribution is very good. I recommend this new addition to everyone.
👤It's the right width for me to stir fry everything for 2 people. It's small enough to fit in a small sink, but not hot, and can't see much from the cooking angle.
👤My old Teflon was 3 quarts. The pot was scratched and pitted from being put in the sink and was not cutting anymore. I've been wanting to try one of these red copper pans for a while now, and this one sounded pretty great. The pot is non-stick so far. I've cooked a lot of food in it, and they all came out great. It is easy to clean up.
👤This is the best saucepan we have ever purchased. It is very well made, conducts heat brilliantly, cutting down on cooking times, and it cleans easily. The only gripe we have is that we can't find any other pots or pans in this range.
Silicone handles areriveted for comfort and safety. It's hard, even heating pan. Hard-anodized aluminum is used to build the saucepan to promote fast heating and reduce hot spots that can burn food. Non-STICK sauce. The saucepan has a long- lasting coating that makes it easy to release food and clean it up. The oven and dishwasher are safe. The dishwasher safe saucepan is oven safe to 350 degrees F. Saucepan has a dual riveted, vibrantly colored handle for extra strength and a stylish grip. STURDY AND DURABLE COOKWARE. The rest of the cookware and bakeware collections complement this sturdy saucepan.
👤It is too lightweight and could easily slip off of a burner. If you don't watch the pot, it will cook up quickly, and food will burn if you don't. Since there is no vent, the glass lid clouds up when heated, and you can't see into it. I rarely write reviews, but this product had many negatives. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd seen it before.
👤Some of the pots and pans are starting to show some serious wear after being in the set for over five years. I ran across this 3 quart pot because I thought I would replace them. It was already looking used when it arrived, and it seemed to be made well. Had to return the $50 for something that looks like it has already been used. If it wasn't damaged, would it be worth $50? Yes, but not $50. It wouldn't be very durable on the stove being moved around on the cooking surface if it had already been scratched up.
👤It's perfect for the large center burner. Is the same size needed to use that burner? It's a great pan to cook items like asparagus, broccoli, or even one pot spaghetti. I was able to use this one to make a large pot of gravy while using the other burners to make the potatoes, veggie sides, etc., because I was able to narrow it enough. It's easy to clean up, just needs a few light passes with a soapy sponge. Any oil or grease drips on the outside can be easily removed with a little Bar Keepers on a damp sponge and a drop of dish soap. I only give 4 stars because the non-stick interior looks great and works very well, but hard plastic/nylon utensils can leave surface marks that can be seen under light, and felt if you lightly drag a fingernail across the surface. They don't seem to go through the surface. I'm worried that eventually they will degrade so that it no longer works well. Time will tell.
👤The non-stick coating on this pan seems to work well. It is very tall and narrow, compared to other 3-quart saucepans. The top is flared out, so it is even narrower. The bottom only fits small stovetop burners. There is a It takes a long time to get hot or boil water for oatmeal. The T-Fal Signature 3-quart pan is much wider and fits medium-sized burners just fine. The water should be boiled by minutes.
👤It's a great purchase so far. Popcorn cooks better than my old pot. Rice was better than the oldie. It's perfect size too. This is the perfect mid-sized item that I have been looking for. Light weight too. The non-stick inside makes it easy to slide out. The cooling grips on the handles are great. I'm not going there just yet because it's OK for the oven. Good consumer grade workmanship is not pro quality. I like that the pot heats quickly, unlike some of my more pro items. Popcorn cooks quickly. I'm going to get a bigger one. Pot too. I have a giant stock pot that is hard to clean because it has no non-stick coating. The stuff from Rachael is cool. Try something.
PTHE, PFOA, and PFOS are free to use in the steel products of Gotham Steel. The material is called P&P CheF. 👤There is an explanation. I used to make mashed potatoes with the old kettle. I use a hand mixer to make them. The ancient kettle I used to have had a copper bottom, but after running it through the dishwasher for years, it was gone. I wanted a pan of these dimensions with no non stick coating. I picked up this 1 at the warehouse because the last bit of handle broke off my old one. I received it, opened it, and looked into the pan like I was looking into a mirror. I could have used the mirror to apply my makeup. There are no scratches after making mashed potatoes many times. I don't check if it's dishwasher safe, but I run it through the dishwasher most days. The handles don't get hot. I like that there is a lid to keep things warm if anyone comes back for 2nds. I don't have a negative thing to say about this pot. It is beautiful and I need it. Not tall enough to use a mixer. Good sturdy handles that are made so that I can hold them. I can make mashed potatoes for 10 dollars. On a typical night, 7 of us eat dinner. We can cook my daughters famous baked beans even without a non stick coating because they stick no matter what. My son in law can cook rice. He has a problem cooking rice. This is an A+ product.
👤I have already shown black spots after using it twice.
👤The pot doesn't do well above medium heat. It doesn't rest on my stove because it has already warped on the bottom. I'm going to have to stop using the stove. Overall it seemed really nice, but it's too bad.
👤I was on a quest for a new pasta pan after my other favorite pot got burned up when the wrong burner was turned on. I leave my perfect pan on the back burner of my range. I ordered a pan on Amazon that was damaged and I returned it because I didn't like it at all. I was about to give up when I saw this pan. It was the correct size, had a glass lid, and two comfortable handles. The tinted lid made the pan look copper inside. The more I looked at it, the more I liked it. This pan is great for sauces, soups, and pasta.
👤Sometimes you need this size to be handy. I found that my stove top was rattled by the rounded bottom of the pan. It wasn't completely flat. The frying pan is my go-to cooking item. I decided to spend more at a big box store and get something else after I noticed the pan was a little thin. It could have been the one I had that was malfunctioning. I didn't dislike it.
👤The size of this pot is perfect for us. This pot is large enough to keep us from having too many leftovers. I like the idea of a see-through lid. It is perfect!
