1. Smoking Pellets Mesquite Pellets Barbecue

Smoking Pellets Mesquite Pellets Barbecue

Pairs well with meat and poultry. Smoking wood pellet produce smoke quickly. Smoker pellets work great with gas grills, charcoal grills, smoker boxes, and even indoor smokers. BBQ Wood Pellets can be used to create a smokey flavor. Variety Pack Smoker Pellets are made in the U.S.A. for the best performance. Pairs well with poultry, pork, meat and more.

Brand: Camerons

👤When they decide to burn the smoke, it smells great and tastes great. They are a pain to light and don't last very long, I use a propane torch and it takes forever. I wouldn't buy them again. I used them all before I wrote this review, and they stink. The cherry was good and the smoke time was good for chicken thighs, so they got a 3 overall.

👤It's a good way to sample different flavors. One container is not big enough to fill my smoker. I wish there were more ounces in each. The price per ounce is high.

👤Finally! A product that works. These pellets are very good. They are light, stay lite and have a great flavor. I would recommend filling a long smoke tube. The unit is 1/3's full because the pellets only fill the 12 unit. The 3-2-1 method requires more than 1/3's for 2 racks of Saint Louis style ribs. The product is very nice. I ordered more.

👤It's like over priced saw dust. Disappointing.

👤The smoke in my camp chef smoker was great. I didn't pay attention to where it said PINT. I thought they were gallon sized buckets, based on the picture. The quality and flavor of these were great, even though they were barely enough to smoke.

👤I am really unhappy with this purchase. I got the wood shavings instead of the pellets. I'm willing to try them. Not impressed at all. They followed all the instructions, including soaking in the water. The flavor barely affected it. Would not recommend.

👤If you're starting out, chips are fine. You can fill a smoker tube with one container. The flavor is good, but I would only pick it up as a sample.

👤These pellets are very good. They put out a lot of smoke. Good for smoking hot or cold. The problem is that each container only gives you about 4 hours of smoke time, so it's not the greatest value.

2. Traeger PEL331 Signature All Natural Hardwood

Traeger PEL331 Signature All Natural Hardwood

There is no need to worry about the lifespan of Eco Firestarters. They will work perfectly every time, even if you have had them for a long time. There is a fire in the wood. The flavors of maple, cherry, and hickory combine for in their Traeger Signature Blend Hardwood Pellets for flavor that can take on just about anything you cook, from BBQ meats to fish and veggies. The best wood-fired grill on the market requires the best wood pellets on the market. It starts with all-natural hardwood pellets made in American mills, which are tied to quality materials and achieving perfect smoke. The perfect honeybee has been developed by Traeger for years. Traeger has spent years mastering the development of hardwood pellets that have just the right amount of moisture content to maintain a perfect burn-to-smoke ratio. Pairs. Pairs well with beef, poultry, pork, lamb, seafood, baked goods, vegetables. Premium Quality, All-Natural, Clean Burn, No Binders, Low Ash, 20lb Bag are features. Selecting the pellet + rub option pairs their recommended Traeger spice rub to each wood pellet flavor.

Brand: Traeger

👤I would like to give a zero stars rating to these pellets. These are the worst pellet you can use for smoking on a pellet grill. They don't tell you there is no Mesquite wood in their pellets. None of the flavors have that type of wood in them. They use a base of alder and then treat the pellets with oils to make them taste good. I spent hundreds of dollars on Traeger pellets and I felt stupid when I found out. I could not believe the difference when I found the pellets. The meat coming out of the grill was better. I use a brand called Lumberjack that is 100% mesquite and you can spend a few extra dollars to find it. If it doesn't say 100%, you are getting less than you want.

👤If you read up on them, they may be hardwood, but not the aromatic species advertised. I sent all of it back. Be aware. The lumberjack pellet is better.

👤I have had bad luck buying the blend pellets twice. I bought from both Amazon and Costco. The pellets have turned to dust in the hopper and caused problems with the grill. I have never had the other pellets break down like this. I will avoid the blend variety from now on.

👤The pellets smelled old when we opened the bag. The bag that we got was years old and had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. We tried to use them in the smoker to see how they burned, thinking we'd smell that wood flavor once they lit. Nope. There was no smell at all. Completely useless. We emptied the bag and threw it away.

👤You read the label and think you are getting 100% natural hardwood, but you are wrong. Guess again. Traeger uses cheap oak or alder wood and then adds oils to give it a flavor that is supposed to be on the label. I don't know how these oils don't count as unnatural. I wish the consumers win the class action lawsuit that Traeger has been hit with. The difference is night and day when you try those and real mesquite. Do not support a dishonest company.

👤The pellets are made of CRAP. We used Traegers Hickory Pellots from Costco and had no issues. We bought the apple wood through Amazon. The traeger caught fire. It was frightening. The pellots look like cheap pressed wood that you find in old kitchen cabinets. The size of the pellot is not even and I think it poses a problem in the burning processed. They turned into wood dust when they were put into the hopper. The smoke coming out of the hopper is not normal. After removing the meat from the traeger, my husband and I found what we believed to be the problem. There was a full layer of sawdust inside the covered hopper. That didn't catch on fire. We won't be using them again. It was a big waste of money. I finished the turkey in the oven. It was a big disappointment.

3. GRILLS OAK 2P DF Wood Pellet Packs

GRILLS OAK 2P DF Wood Pellet Packs

It is safe for transportation. Only properly heat-treated firewood like Kiln-dried Oak Wood from Hot Box can be transported safely. The American oak pellets elevate your grilling experience. Works with most wood pellet grills.

Brand: Z Grills

👤I can't tell you what the product is like. They got one bag instead of 2 bags.

👤Had to have received 2 bags. Only one was obtained.

👤I bought 2 packs of 20lb bags for 40lb. I received one box with a 20lb bag inside.

👤One bag was given instead of two. The sale was bad.

👤There was only one 20lb bag.

👤Only one bag was received instead of two.

👤A good deal for sure. The Oak pellet is a great hardwood for grilling. A good smoke for grilling.

4. Green Mountain Grills Gourmet Pellet

Green Mountain Grills Gourmet Pellet

We make it right. All of their products are covered by Amazon's Return Policy and they always stand by them. This bag of wood pellets is a great way to make grilled masterpieces. There is a wood smell. The perfect blend of oak, hickory, and mesquite gives it its authentic wood flavor. The compact design is perfect for on-the-go outdoor activities. Works with gas, charcoal, electric, and pellet grills. The bag stands upright so you don't have to worry about spills.

Brand: Green Mountain Grills

👤The package is small for the price.

👤This was included in the package with my grill. The pellets did not light up after the third cooking. An error code was given to me. I was initially annoyed by the grill. The burn pot was full of ash when I got to it. The starter probe was trying to start ASHES on fire. There was a lot of ash everywhere, so I vacuumed out the pot and pit. The pit is working. The pellet is about to be used to advertise low ash. The grill will get a low score if the problem continues. I will modify this review. 11/12/16 Havent had to vacuum out the burn pot one time with the Rec Tec pellets.

👤It seems to produce a lot of ash and cost a lot. The smoked meat came out smokey and delicious, but I won't get it again. Oh, well. Life is an experiment.

👤A great blend of Oak and Mesquite!

5. Friendly Flame Firestarters Fireplace Certified

Brand: Friendly Flame

👤It works great to start a charcoal chimney for the Weber grill or to start a smoking tube for my pellet grill. Highly recommend because of ease of use.

👤These were bought to help create a safe way to start fires. They work very well and are easy to use. I love using them and recommend them.

👤The pizza oven lit up quickly.

👤It was easy to start a fire in our solo stove with these. Really pleased.

👤Excellent product! It is simple to use. I don't smell or taste lighter fluid when I grill. Will buy again.

👤The outdoor firepit can be a challenge. It's hard to get going when it's smoky. Friendly Flame Eco Firestarters made it easier to do things. There's no smell, no smoke and it worked quickly. In the past I cheated with torch fluid, but now I don't have to. I will buy this product again.

👤The product works better than expected. It is so easy to use. You get a whole bag of starter and one that lights the fire. Great product!

6. Oak Delight Smoking Pellets Pounds

Oak Delight Smoking Pellets Pounds

20 Lb Bag of Oak Flavored Pellets. It's recommended for all pellet-Fired Cookers. All-Natural Premium Oak mixed with Flavorwood. It guarantees high BTU, clean-burning, and low ash. It is made in the USA.

Brand: Bbq'rs Delight

👤I have been using BBQ Delight brand for about 10 years. This person broke the record. The box is covered in a scent. The stink was still on my hands after I washed my hands 10 times. The bags are broken. I debated putting the box on the trash can. If you burned these, your turkey or meat would be ruined.

👤You need oak if you want to smoke beef. This product is one of the best for pure oak pellets. I have kept them outside in a closed cabinet for all seasons and they have not had any issues with absorbing water. I have always received the correct variety. Highly recommended.

👤I don't know what it is, but I have used every brand that sells pellets over the past five years and consistently get the best results with BBQers Delight. I'm not sure why, but if it isn't broken don't fix it.

👤The bag could be better used. Excellent product.

👤My go to fuel is mixed with cherry. Light and nice Burns. Pork and beef can be used.

👤The peach flavor was decent but the pellets didn't burn well. They left a mess on my ribs and the grill. My Camp Chef pellets were cleaner and a lot better. I had to send the first bag back because it was torn. There aren't many options to buy peach pellets so I may try another batches in the future. I will probably throw my current batches away.

👤The best pellet for long cooks is the Cherry and Pecan.

👤A little more ash but a good flavor.

7. Royal Oak Hardwood Charcoal Grilling

Royal Oak Hardwood Charcoal Grilling

The real cocaine is real. Royal Oak 100 Percent Real Hardwood Charcoal Pellets are great for grilling or smoking. The delicious, smoky flavor of real barbecue can be found in the real hardwood that is used. For any drill. You can use your favorite brand on a pellet grill, and still get that real barbecue flavor. Water retention is a problem. It's easy to clean with pliches because they are resistant to water and do not cause problems. You crave authentic barbecue when the temperature is high.

Brand: Royal Oak

👤These are the best I have used. I have tried all of the ones from Lowe's and HD carry. The royal oak pellets are great. They burn at a more consistent temperature and produce more smoke. smoked a pork butt, some chickens, and a pot roast.

👤It claims to work with pellet grills. It doesn't. My Weber wouldn't go further after he gave a low fuel error message. The fuel sensor is light based and black throws it off. That was a huge benefit. The smell of burning garbage, burning plastic, and hot roofing tar came from the pellets that did burn. It was a putrid sensation. The smell of burning charcoal is similar to burning wood or pellets. The stuff smells terrible. If it had worked, I might have been tempted to cook with it, but we wouldn't have had much for Christmas dinner.

👤I thought it would be similar to lump charcoal when I grilled some chicken. I'll stick to their charcoal when grilling because it maintains heat but doesn't have much flavor.

👤They look nice. They are water resistant. The smoke flavor is neutral. It is difficult to get them lit in a smoke tube. It burns a little too clean, but it's a nice idea. The flavor is almost imperceptibly mild.

👤The shipping was terrible, but I can't complain about the product. The bag was torn open and retaped in a poor fashion when it arrived in a beaten up box. There are pheles inside the box. This was a gift for my son.

👤It is not worth the price.

👤This put out was great.

8. CookinPellets 40PM Perfect Mix

CookinPellets 40PM Perfect Mix

We say that it is not oak or alder. Will not void the manufacturers warranty.

Brand: Cookinpellets

👤I read all the reviews and this was my second time ordering these, I read the one that said he found pieces of blue plastic in it but didn't notice anything. When I opened the pallet container, I saw a few pieces of blue plastic in it, but I thought my grill internals were burning. No matter how good or cheap they are, wont order any of these again. I ordered two last time and got one.

👤I read the manufacturer's response to the customers who found blue plastic in their pellets and assumed that all of the manufacturing problems had been solved. I spotted a pellet that is not safe for food use during the initial loading of my hopper. The pellet has green paint on it. Who knows how many pellets are actually made with unnatural impurities? Attached is a photo.

👤I have a computer. One of the best pellet grills on the market is the bull pellet grill. When I ordered the grill, I ordered 400 pounds of Rec Tec's Ultimate blend pellets, used all of them and decided to try them out because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. After a few cooks, I started to notice a small amount of ash on my food, but I never got that with the Rec Tec pellets. I ordered 80 pounds and kept using them, but I would get a bit of ash on the food. I went back to the pellets. I found more ash after using 70 pounds of Cookingpellets brand than I did after using 400 pounds of Rec Tec pellets. It was crazy. The cook time between cleanings is about 20%. I liked the flavor but will not buy them again. If you haven't tried the pellets before, give them a try.

👤The best cooking pellet for the money is on Amazon. I bought 6 bags of the perfect mix for my Traeger Smoker. I've purchased BBQ Delight pellets from their website, but they don't sell large quantities on Amazon. The mix is better for my family and I. It's great to have pelleted meat for pulled pork and brisket. It is difficult to smoke chicken with the skin. There is a fair amount of ash left by these. I vacuum out the ash after a long smoke. The amount of ash is the same. There is a bad thing about these pellets. The shipment. The cardboard box is very snug with the plastic bag. If you use scissors to open the box, you will need to cut the plastic to put the pellets in the container.

👤I use my pellet cooker several times a week, even in the harsh winters of the midwest, and I've tried many brands of pellets along the way, but CookinPellets Perfect Mix is the only one that holds a candle to CookinPellets Perfect Mix Consistent in size, smoke, and flavor. They produce very little ash and burn at an incredibly consistent rate that gives me more cook hours than other brands. My hopper has never had an issue with these pellets, and even when outdoor temperatures plummet, they burn steadily, without massive fluctuations. I am a big fan of CookinPellets and I am looking forward to trying the other wood pellet options this season.

9. FAMILY FARM FEED Hardwood Natural

FAMILY FARM FEED Hardwood Natural

Quality hardwood pellets for competition and backyard BBQ are the best. For any outdoor gas, electric, or coal smoker, grill, pit, oven, rotisserie, or open campfire. Premium USA hardwood flavor to anything you grill, smoke, bake, roast, and BBQ. A clear package of 4 pounds of oak wood pellet. They make it right. All of their products are covered by Amazon's Return Policy and they always stand by them.

Brand: Family Farm And Feed

👤They were fine. Walmart has a bigger bag for this price.

👤It was what I was expecting. I was satisfied.

👤I thought four pounds of pellets would be larger. It's not worth it when you pay more for less pellet than it takes to smoke a chicken or pork chops. Since they will be mixed in with our other pellets, we don't have enough to evaluate how they taste. We can't determine when they are giving the smoke. I just bought some food. The pellets are for $7.47 at the farmer's store. Ten times as many pellets for $10 less than the four pounds of pecans cost. Since they wouldn't supply fuel for anything to cook, I can't say how they will taste, but I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to taste them in isolation. The food would only have a small amount of the snack. I remember seeing a 20-pound bag of pellets at the farmer's store for $25, so there are cheaper alternatives out there. I can't recommend them.

👤I wanted to see if I could use these against Andersons Midwest Smokehouse. There is a There are pros. All-natural provides more smoke. Low Ash Cons. The package contained a family farm and a BBQ. A bag of 4 lbs was used for this family farm and feed product. This will almost fill it up, as my hopper holds 20 lbs. There is a These easy to use family farm and feed pellets provide a beautiful smoke ring for darker meats that can stand up to the strong flavor. Texas-Style Brisket, wild game meat, duck, lamb, and also very nice on chicken are some of the things. You can cook steak or vegetables on a grill. The Mesquite wood has a definite flavor. If you use too much, it will affect your food. It's okay to mix it with other weaker wood to make it smoke less. I couldn't find a warranty in the product information or item description. You are taking the time to read this. I received a product in exchange for a review. I live in Texas. Mesquite is a common flavor here. The flavors vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. This was a product that had a very nice bold flavor. I usually purchase a brand of these. They cost $4.25 per pound. When you can get grocery store brands for less than a dollar per pound, it's not as expensive as my goto brand. Quality is also important for smoking. I grill with store brands but don't smoke with them. Hope this information helped. This product is made in the U.S.A.

👤It's pretty good. They burn well, burn clean, and smell good. I use them in my pellet burning pizza ovens, but I don't use a smoker. I think some of the best smelling smoke is too expensive. I used to pay $1 a pound for these pellets, even for premium brands. The "Family Farm & Feed" is $3 per pound. The "Mesquite" variant works well on pizza. I did some meat in the pizza oven, and it works great. The smoke from the pizza oven makes the camp smell like a camp fire when there is a fire restriction. I would have rated this product 4 stars if it was not for the price. I can't recommend it due to the high cost. Thank you for reading the review, I hope the pictures help you in your purchase decision.

10. J C S Smoking Wood Pellets Bag

J C S Smoking Wood Pellets Bag

Pairs well with meat and poultry. 100% pure firewood for your smoker. Virgin Hardwood Trees from Central Iowa and Missouri.

Brand: J.c.'s Smoking Wood Products

11. Camp Chef Hickory BBQ Pellets

Camp Chef Hickory BBQ Pellets

You will not be disappointed if you go to the next level. You can add to the cart now. All-natural food grade pellets. Premium solid hardwoods are used. The content is ultra-low.

Brand: Camp Chef

👤I bought some pellets. I smoked food twice. I noticed that the smoke flavor was weak and the taste was bad when I ate it. I contacted the company and asked if their pellets were made of 100% wood. The company dropped the bomb on me, their pellets are a "proprietary blend of alder wood and whichever scent wood you purchase." Every pellet you purchase is blended with wood. The pellets are made from 100% hardwood, which is a cheaper and less delicious wood. Do you see the deception? I was led to believe that I was buying a combo. I don't respect companies that don't let their customers know what they are spending their money on. If you don't trust a company to be upfront with you. How can you be sure they won't keep other things out of the mix? I did a dry run on my smoker because I didn't want to ruin the meat. I could see black smoke when the smoke died down. That's where the taste came from. I wonder if the wood in these pellets is any different from hardwood. The rest of my bag is going to be thrown away. I know for my world class bbq in this area. I'm not going to let this company ruin the hard earned reputation.

👤When I opened the box, the bag inside had been taped up and ripped. The majority of the pellets were missing. This should not have been sent by Amazon. This is not a reflection on Camp Chef.

👤The item is described and works well. My favorite pellete so far.

👤The 75% of the bag that was actual pellets work well and have a moderate amount of ash, but the 25% was powder. I am not sure if it was a shipping issue.

👤They are great. The competition blend is something I like.

👤Gave the meat a bitter taste and turned the inside of my bull completely black. I've never used a worse pellet.

👤It tasted great. We received a bag that had previously been opened. Give me 10% off or something, I'm fine with that hit. I was not happy that I was sent an opened bag after paying full price. The taste is great so buy now.

👤The pellets did a good job. They were packaged nicely and ready to go. What else can I say?
