1. Camp Chef Hickory BBQ Pellets

Camp Chef Hickory BBQ Pellets

You will not be disappointed if you go to the next level. You can add to the cart now. All-natural food grade pellets. Premium solid hardwoods are used. The content is ultra-low.

Brand: Camp Chef

👤I bought some pellets. I smoked food twice. I noticed that the smoke flavor was weak and the taste was bad when I ate it. I contacted the company and asked if their pellets were made of 100% wood. The company dropped the bomb on me, their pellets are a "proprietary blend of alder wood and whichever scent wood you purchase." Every pellet you purchase is blended with wood. The pellets are made from 100% hardwood, which is a cheaper and less delicious wood. Do you see the deception? I was led to believe that I was buying a combo. I don't respect companies that don't let their customers know what they are spending their money on. If you don't trust a company to be upfront with you. How can you be sure they won't keep other things out of the mix? I did a dry run on my smoker because I didn't want to ruin the meat. I could see black smoke when the smoke died down. That's where the taste came from. I wonder if the wood in these pellets is any different from hardwood. The rest of my bag is going to be thrown away. I know for my world class bbq in this area. I'm not going to let this company ruin the hard earned reputation.

👤When I opened the box, the bag inside had been taped up and ripped. The majority of the pellets were missing. This should not have been sent by Amazon. This is not a reflection on Camp Chef.

👤The item is described and works well. My favorite pellete so far.

👤The 75% of the bag that was actual pellets work well and have a moderate amount of ash, but the 25% was powder. I am not sure if it was a shipping issue.

👤They are great. The competition blend is something I like.

👤Gave the meat a bitter taste and turned the inside of my bull completely black. I've never used a worse pellet.

👤It tasted great. We received a bag that had previously been opened. Give me 10% off or something, I'm fine with that hit. I was not happy that I was sent an opened bag after paying full price. The taste is great so buy now.

👤The pellets did a good job. They were packaged nicely and ready to go. What else can I say?

2. Camerons Smoking Pellets Pellets Barbecue

Camerons Smoking Pellets Pellets Barbecue

A 20-pound bag is needed for the Oklahoma Joe's pellet bucket. Smoking wood pellet produce smoke quickly. Smoker pellets work great with gas grills, charcoal grills, smoker boxes, and even indoor smokers. BBQ Wood Pellets can be used to create a smokey flavor. The wood pellets are made in the U.S.A. for the best performance. Pairs well with meat and poultry.

Brand: Camerons

👤There was a lot of pellets for those wondering what size they were.

👤It was grossly overpriced. Total waste of money. I was so excited to find the product description matched what I was looking for, but I didn't realize it was a double handful. I would have gotten more smoke.

👤It was too expensive and little product. Unless you want to try it out on the backyard grill.

👤These are ridiculous. They are small containers for $7.00. Not worth the money. There is no value here. Don't buy!

👤I put the pellets in my gas grill away from the direct heat and only had to burn one hour for the entire tube. Most other pellets will burn for 4 or 5 hours.

👤I have a Weber electric grill that I like to smoke occasionally. These work well in smoke pucks. I put two pucks on the grill as it heated up and when it was at high temp in about 25 to 30 minutes they were smoking in time to put the food on. I used half of them the first time, as I didn't need smoke for a long time and just did steaks for a few minutes. I used less pellet for some burgers. You don't need much to get a good smoke going, and you don't need to use two pucks. I tried using dry wood chips on the grill, but it couldn't get the chips to smoking, so I'll stick with the pellets for the grill and use chips for the charcoal grill.

👤The value for money is not known. It's like a measuring cup for smoker pellets. I got 15 pounds from Lowes for 9 dollars.

👤The flavor was nice, but had a little trouble with staying lit, so I filled my tube twice.

👤Vraiment des petits pots de granule.

3. Camerons Grilling Barbecue All Natural Kiln Dried

Camerons Grilling Barbecue All Natural Kiln Dried

For an even consistent burn, ground is precision. Smoking wood pellet produce smoke quickly. Smoker pellets work great with gas grills, charcoal grills, smoker boxes, and even indoor smokers. BBQ Wood Pellets can be used to create a smokey flavor. Variety Pack Smoker Pellets are made in the U.S.A. for the best performance. Pairs well with poultry, pork, meat and more.

Brand: Camerons

👤When they decide to burn the smoke, it smells great and tastes great. They are a pain to light and don't last very long, I use a propane torch and it takes forever. I wouldn't buy them again. I used them all before I wrote this review, and they stink. The cherry was good and the smoke time was good for chicken thighs, so they got a 3 overall.

👤It's a good way to sample different flavors. One container is not big enough to fill my smoker. I wish there were more ounces in each. The price per ounce is high.

👤Finally! A product that works. These pellets are very good. They are light, stay lite and have a great flavor. I would recommend filling a long smoke tube. The unit is 1/3's full because the pellets only fill the 12 unit. The 3-2-1 method requires more than 1/3's for 2 racks of Saint Louis style ribs. The product is very nice. I ordered more.

👤It's like over priced saw dust. Disappointing.

👤The smoke in my camp chef smoker was great. I didn't pay attention to where it said PINT. I thought they were gallon sized buckets, based on the picture. The quality and flavor of these were great, even though they were barely enough to smoke.

👤I am really unhappy with this purchase. I got the wood shavings instead of the pellets. I'm willing to try them. Not impressed at all. They followed all the instructions, including soaking in the water. The flavor barely affected it. Would not recommend.

👤If you're starting out, chips are fine. You can fill a smoker tube with one container. The flavor is good, but I would only pick it up as a sample.

👤These pellets are very good. They put out a lot of smoke. Good for smoking hot or cold. The problem is that each container only gives you about 4 hours of smoke time, so it's not the greatest value.

5. BBQrs Delight Wood Smoking Pellets

BBQrs Delight Wood Smoking Pellets

Each bag contains 1 pound of each flavor. 1/3 cup per use is needed. It's easy to use. Works with any type of grill. It is made in the USA.

Brand: Bbq'rs Delight

👤I liked trying different flavors. Even though it was a bit pricey. I own a Traeger grill and smoker. The problem is that by the time I got the 1lb bag for each wood flavor, it was almost gone. Trying to use one. So had to mix wood pellet combinations. It was disappointing for sure. I didn't realize how much my smoker used. I thought I would have enough. Not sure how people can say they have smoked so much. I have not been able to. It's a great way to try different smokes.

👤These are what I expected. There were undamaged plastic bags. There is a I think there is some confusion about the purpose of the pellets. There is a They are best used to add smoke, not as a source of energy to cook meat. I use a smoker. It has a mechanism to add hardwood chips to the electric element. It has proved to be unsatisfactory. The 12" Stainless Steel Smoker Tube Smoker Box is a great example of how these chips can be used. I put the pellets in the Smoker tube, set the open end on fire with a propane torch, and let them burn for five minutes. After blowing out the flames, I put the smoker tube in the electric smoker to make sure that the meat doesn't get stuck in the pellet. This works well. Only outside use is allowed. Cook at a low and slow temperature. Cheers!

👤My husband got a smoker and started smoking. I bought these for my dad. I know they are a sample pack. They are small. The instructions for how to use these are in the picture. It is done by putting a foil pouch on a grill. I was upset because I thought he could use them with the smoker, if you combine them all that kind of defeats the purpose. A picture of the variety pack next to a regular bag made the difference. It would have been nice for my husband to try different flavors. We know we don't like it. $35 is a bit pricey. I think the flavor is good, we've heard great things about it. Value for money is not good. Warmth is notapplicable for smoking food.

👤I bought the blend at Home Depot. The smell of the pellets is so good. It's real wood, not liquid smoke. The Traeger pellets have oil-based flavors. When I smoked it, it smelled terrible. It's hard to go back to regular pellets once you have quality ones. The flavor pack is great. I can get a few uses out of each bag. I know which flavors I like, so I will order directly from them. These are not fuel pellets. Generic hardwood pellets are "diluted" with these. At first, I was confused about how expensive it was. When I realized how much better this stuff smelled, I was like, "okay, ok." I understand it now.

👤I use the A-maz'n smoker tube to smoke. I put half a cup of my choice in the tube, put them on my grill gate and light them with a propane torch. Blow out the flame after burning for 1-2 minutes. You can put meat, fish, cheese, or nuts on the top shelf of your grill. The pellets will burn for 2 hours and give you a wonderful smoky flavor. It's a great way to get that "low and slow" smoke flavor when you have enough time to grill your meal.

6. Traeger Signature All Natural Hardwood Mesquite

Traeger Signature All Natural Hardwood Mesquite

The wood fibers hold the pellets together. Traeger Premium wood pellets deliver a pure, hardwood taste and ensure perfect blue smoke to flavor your food. The product is made from 100% all-natural hardwood with no binding agents. Add a great wood-fired taste to everything you cook, smoke, bake, roast, and BBQ. Traeger Mesquite pellets are perfect for enhancing chicken, beef, and fish with robust flavor.

Brand: Traeger

👤The flavor is good, but I don't think it's worth the price. Save money by shopping around.

👤Excellent blend for all types of food.

👤They are awesome and last a long time. These bundle offers are not real savings because this item costs the same everywhere.

👤I got 2 bags of food immediately after I got a Trager smoker. You will need an additional 2 bags after the first 2 bags. Good value, haven't seen these bags priced less anywhere, even though people say they have bigger bags for less. I wish my club had them for less. Amazon prices are on point. Get more Pecan and 888-270-6611 It was magnificent!

7. Pit Boss 55436 Pellets Hickory

Pit Boss 55436 Pellets Hickory

The wood used in their product is from across North America. There are no artificial flavors, spray scents, glues or chemicals. Burn hotter and cleaner. Natural juices in the wood bind the pellets together, making them easy to use and great tasting. The wood used in their product is from across North America.

Brand: Pit Boss

👤I was looking for something different and more authentic than the Traeger pellets which are made from mostlyAlder wood with infused wood oil to give them their signature flavor. These pellets are disappointing. My gas grill has more flavor than Traeger, but it doesn't last as long. I will not be buying from you again. We were on a 14 day lock down and I couldn't buy any pellets from a local store. The Turkey dinner I had was disappointing because it had no flavor or smoke ring. If you want meat that is not dependent on gas, then these pellets are 888-739-5110 I was hoping they would be a good alternative, but they weren't.

👤The Ooni Fyra pellet pizza grill worked perfectly. I tried a lot of different things, but these worked the best. I was not able to get near the temperature with the others. Excellent!

👤This was shipped in a larger box. The pellets broke into fine dust when they arrived at my house. When shipped on a pallet, they don't move much. It's best to get it from a retail store.

👤I just got 13.63 back out of 24. I understand that it was sealed and not open. I will not buy this product.

👤I like the taste of the pellets. They work well in my Traeger. They are cheaper than Traeger. I will purchase this item again and try other flavors.

👤You have a pellet that doesn't fall. My food tasted great with a hint of hickory. If you like it more, you could leave your smoker longer. The price was delivered to my door. It was the best price through Amazon. You can smoke meat, poultry, fishes, and vegetables.

👤I used this in a 12 inch smoker tube and it made a lot of smoke for 3 and a half hours and left little ash. There is a It's a great value to have twenty four bucks for 40 lbs.

👤I like the larger pellets as they burn longer and cooler. The "other" brand is the worst pellet on the market as they burn too fast and hot which makes a bitter and unhealthy smoke. I have been using pellet smokers for 8 years. It's a mild flavor and almost acts like a competition blend.

👤There are no problems with Pit Boss pellets. I ordered two bags of 40 lbs each. Today they are $47.98 per bag, compared to 30.00 per bag. If I just hit the reorder button without looking, it would add $36 to the price of the bags.

👤One of the bags had a hole in it. The bag had less pellets in it. Since the box it comes in is all but destroyed by the time it gets to your house, it's too inconvenient to return it to the post office. You can't see the bag until it's on your porch, so you won't buy it again.

8. Traeger PEL319 Hickory All Natural Hardwood

Traeger PEL319 Hickory All Natural Hardwood

5 pack of liners is the second product. The firewood was fired by hickories wood. Traeger Hardwood Pellets are great for enhancing beef, chicken, pork, and veggies. It should come as no surprise that the assertive flavor of Hickory is one of the most popular choices for classic BBQ cooking. The best wood-fired grill on the market requires the best wood pellets on the market. Quality materials and perfect smoke are tied to real taste. All-natural hardwood pellets are made in American mills. The perfect honeybee has been developed by Traeger for years. The hardwood's compact cell structure results in a balanced burn. Traeger has spent years mastering the development of hardwood pellets that have just the right amount of moisture content to maintain a perfect burn-to-smoke ratio. Pairs. Pairs well with beef, poultry, pork, and vegetables. Premium Quality, All-Natural, Clean Burn, No Binders, 20lb Bag are features. Please note. You may receive old packaging if you are pictured with new packaging. Selecting the pellet + rub option pairs their recommended Traeger spice rub to each wood pellet flavor.

Brand: Traeger

👤I would like to give a zero stars rating to these pellets. These are the worst pellet you can use for smoking on a pellet grill. They don't tell you there is no Mesquite wood in their pellets. None of the flavors have that type of wood in them. They use a base of alder and then treat the pellets with oils to make them taste good. I spent hundreds of dollars on Traeger pellets and I felt stupid when I found out. I could not believe the difference when I found the pellets. The meat coming out of the grill was better. I use a brand called Lumberjack that is 100% mesquite and you can spend a few extra dollars to find it. If it doesn't say 100%, you are getting less than you want.

👤If you read up on them, they may be hardwood, but not the aromatic species advertised. I sent all of it back. Be aware. The lumberjack pellet is better.

👤I have had bad luck buying the blend pellets twice. I bought from both Amazon and Costco. The pellets have turned to dust in the hopper and caused problems with the grill. I have never had the other pellets break down like this. I will avoid the blend variety from now on.

👤The pellets smelled old when we opened the bag. The bag that we got was years old and had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. We tried to use them in the smoker to see how they burned, thinking we'd smell that wood flavor once they lit. Nope. There was no smell at all. Completely useless. We emptied the bag and threw it away.

👤You read the label and think you are getting 100% natural hardwood, but you are wrong. Guess again. Traeger uses cheap oak or alder wood and then adds oils to give it a flavor that is supposed to be on the label. I don't know how these oils don't count as unnatural. I wish the consumers win the class action lawsuit that Traeger has been hit with. The difference is night and day when you try those and real mesquite. Do not support a dishonest company.

👤The pellets are made of CRAP. We used Traegers Hickory Pellots from Costco and had no issues. We bought the apple wood through Amazon. The traeger caught fire. It was frightening. The pellots look like cheap pressed wood that you find in old kitchen cabinets. The size of the pellot is not even and I think it poses a problem in the burning processed. They turned into wood dust when they were put into the hopper. The smoke coming out of the hopper is not normal. After removing the meat from the traeger, my husband and I found what we believed to be the problem. There was a full layer of sawdust inside the covered hopper. That didn't catch on fire. We won't be using them again. It was a big waste of money. I finished the turkey in the oven. It was a big disappointment.

9. Camp Chef Competition Blend Pellets

Camp Chef Competition Blend Pellets

It is made in the USA. All-natural food grade pellets. Premium solid hardwoods are used. It was a perfect blend of Maple, Hickory, and Cherry.

Brand: Camp Chef

👤Children bring more value to life. Except for smoked meats. These are pellets. My life has improved a lot since I got mine. I get along with my wife. My kids are happy. My dog is happy. I have these pellets.

👤I think it's OK in my opinion. They gave a good smoke flavor, but they aren't as efficient as other brands. I use these each time and I have brown residual around the lid of my smoker where other pellets weren't present. I have more ash after smoking with these than I do with others.

👤We love this for our smoker. The Traeger leaves a nice smokey flavor. If you want to try something new or just a different brand, you should definitely buy again. The delivery time was great and it lasted us a bit.

👤The flavor I am looking for is not made by these pellets. Maybe it is a Texas thing, but we don't smoke with wood in these. I like both types of food. I don't want to eat the meat I smoked.

👤These pellets are okay. I have a camp chef grill. I smoked some cream cheese with these and can't say that they were any different than another brand. That is a perk, because they are cheap.

👤One of my favorite blends has a taste for ribs and salmon.

👤The package smelled like oil when it arrived. The smell was revolting, but not sure if this is how the pellet smell is. Some kind of cooking oil had gone bad. Also, full of wood dust. Not going to try the bag.

👤Smoking pellet is great. Good smoke is created.

👤It's too hot and burn fine when needed.

👤My son received it as a gift and he liked it.

10. CookinPellets 40PM Perfect Mix

CookinPellets 40PM Perfect Mix

We say that it is not oak or alder. Will not void the manufacturers warranty.

Brand: Cookinpellets

👤I read all the reviews and this was my second time ordering these, I read the one that said he found pieces of blue plastic in it but didn't notice anything. When I opened the pallet container, I saw a few pieces of blue plastic in it, but I thought my grill internals were burning. No matter how good or cheap they are, wont order any of these again. I ordered two last time and got one.

👤I read the manufacturer's response to the customers who found blue plastic in their pellets and assumed that all of the manufacturing problems had been solved. I spotted a pellet that is not safe for food use during the initial loading of my hopper. The pellet has green paint on it. Who knows how many pellets are actually made with unnatural impurities? Attached is a photo.

👤I have a computer. One of the best pellet grills on the market is the bull pellet grill. When I ordered the grill, I ordered 400 pounds of Rec Tec's Ultimate blend pellets, used all of them and decided to try them out because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. After a few cooks, I started to notice a small amount of ash on my food, but I never got that with the Rec Tec pellets. I ordered 80 pounds and kept using them, but I would get a bit of ash on the food. I went back to the pellets. I found more ash after using 70 pounds of Cookingpellets brand than I did after using 400 pounds of Rec Tec pellets. It was crazy. The cook time between cleanings is about 20%. I liked the flavor but will not buy them again. If you haven't tried the pellets before, give them a try.

👤The best cooking pellet for the money is on Amazon. I bought 6 bags of the perfect mix for my Traeger Smoker. I've purchased BBQ Delight pellets from their website, but they don't sell large quantities on Amazon. The mix is better for my family and I. It's great to have pelleted meat for pulled pork and brisket. It is difficult to smoke chicken with the skin. There is a fair amount of ash left by these. I vacuum out the ash after a long smoke. The amount of ash is the same. There is a bad thing about these pellets. The shipment. The cardboard box is very snug with the plastic bag. If you use scissors to open the box, you will need to cut the plastic to put the pellets in the container.

👤I use my pellet cooker several times a week, even in the harsh winters of the midwest, and I've tried many brands of pellets along the way, but CookinPellets Perfect Mix is the only one that holds a candle to CookinPellets Perfect Mix Consistent in size, smoke, and flavor. They produce very little ash and burn at an incredibly consistent rate that gives me more cook hours than other brands. My hopper has never had an issue with these pellets, and even when outdoor temperatures plummet, they burn steadily, without massive fluctuations. I am a big fan of CookinPellets and I am looking forward to trying the other wood pellet options this season.

11. Kona Best Wood Smoking Pellets

Kona Best Wood Smoking Pellets

It is made in the USA. The Kona best BBQ smoking pellets variety pack provides an outstanding variety of flavors for an entire grilling season. Only 1/3 to 1/2 cup is required per use. 2 lbs of each 8 lbs of Premium Blend. Kona Sweetwood blend is made of Sweet Maple, Hickory, and Cherry. All natural is Sustainablysourced. No artificial flavors. Sprinkle directly onto charcoal before grilling if you add a Kona Smoker Tube. You will not be disappointed if you go to the next level. You can add to the cart now.

Brand: Kona

👤A great collection. There was an issue with two of the bags arriving open which caused a mixture of pellets to float around in the box. I was a little disappointed with the open bags, but over all a good product.

👤The steak is placed on the opposite side of the grill from the smoking Kona Pellets and cooked without being directly over the flame. We are in the mood for those evenings when a quick "searing" is done before we remove the food from the grill.

👤I ordered a variety pack for my husband. He liked the variety. I was disappointed with the shipping of the box, it was damaged and one of the bags inside ripped, so it was spilling out all over the place. We liked this product.

👤I used all of these on the meat, and the last one was very bitter and close to inedible. It is clearly visible. I only tasted the taste at the end of the process, and I can't do anything with 60 dollars worth of meat. There is trash.

👤The wood pellets were okay but for $32.00 for four little 2 lbs bags it's not worth it. In my opinion.

👤They don't seem to stay lit when used a few times now. I made sure there was enough air flow, but these don't seem to burn like others.

👤It works well in the smoke tube.

👤The seller needs to post how big the bags are so that smokers know how to mix it up.
