The handle has a hole that can be hung for convenience and storage. Keep it off dirty surfaces. The grip is soft and comfortable. Solid aluminum construction. For tenderizing and pounding. Non-stick coating makes it easy to clean up.
👤My spouse puts my meat tenderizers in the dishwasher. They would all turn and there would be a film on the metal which would come off you. threw the other two away. I tried to keep it out of the dishwasher, but my spouse washed it. I was pleasantly surprised that it did not have any negative effects on the metal. It is great in weight.
👤It's a hammer. You beat your meat with it. The hammer is light and easy to use, but it has a great handle. It looks a little nicer than your grandma's mallet. If you want to get a nice flat surface for an even fry, this works great. It can be thrown in the dishwasher. As long as they make nice products like this, I'll keep buying from them. I can't imagine a scenario where this won't work. It's made of metal.
👤I love this meat tenderizer. I wanted one that was dishwasher safe. I have had it for about a month now and have run it in the dishwasher at least once a week, mainly because I was enamored with my new purchase. There is something therapeutic about hitting something with a mallet. There is a The product has a good weight and is light enough that I don't have to exert myself to use it. It helps to tenderize the meat under its own weight, which is a big plus if you don't have arm strength.
👤I put my old meat tenderizer in the dishwasher. When I replaced it, my goal was to find one where I didn't have to use the dishwasher, so I found this one. I don't know how much you can say about a tool that is for flattening meat, other than that it's comfortable in my hand. The most important thing is that it is dishwasher safe. It has gone through a lot of different owners in the last few months and still looks new.
👤I have only used it to pound/flatten chicken but it worked well. It has a good weight and grip. It appears to be a solid material, not just a metal coating. It says it is dishwasher safe but I have only washed it by hand. When I flatten meat, I put it in a plastic bag or plastic wrap and hand wash it.
👤Great product! Heavy enough to get the job done, but lightweight enough to use continuously. The other size has a raised diamond shaped pattern. I've used both sides. It tenderizes very nicely. I only used it on chicken, and it works great. I was able to thin the paper on the meat. Highly recommended.
👤The dishwasher is safe. It is one of the few moderately priced dishwasher safe meat tenderizers. It's not that heavy, but it gets the job done, and the handle is comfortable to use. We put our last tenderizer in the dishwasher because it wasn't dishwasher safe. We may have had a clean tenderizer, but it was completely spotted and looked terrible. This one works well, looks new and stays looking new after every cycle through the dishwasher.

👤I was trying to find one that was large enough to carry it. It felt good to the hand as well.
👤It's heavy and will do the job, but it doesn't feel solid and the head is wobbly on the handle. It will break soon. Here's hoping it doesn't.
👤I had these for a while. The mallet has a good weight and works better than any mallet I've used for breaking up items like ice and nuts. Well done BlueTek!
👤It works well, just the right weight.
👤I like it, nothing to complain about. You may want to change it, I received it in a Chinese package. Many people can't understand Chinese.
👤Don't spend your money on this piece of junk. The "weld" that held the two pieces together gave way after less than two months of use. There are better products out there. Don't waste your money on this product.
👤Does it work well? The poundage is heavy, so keep an eye on it.
👤Does the job well. Only one option that you can safely wash in a dishwasher is available.
👤A good mallet. That dishwasher is safe. You have to pound with authority, but it's easier than a heavy mallet.
👤It's a good thing. It is easy to clean and sturdy.
👤The hammer is great. It was used many times.
Zulay guarantees no hassle with a lifetime guarantee on the meat hammer. They will make it right if you contact them. This product will live up to your expectations if you order now. They've got you covered even if it doesn't. Chances are you will not need to reach out. The new version of the meat tenderizer tool is made of 304 STAINLESS STEEL, which is more resistant to rust and oxidation, and it feels very heavy and solid. It is one piece, so there is no chance of breaking it. It's easier to clean. The head of meat tenderizer machine is large and sturdy, the overall weight of 1.2lb is more labor-saving, the grid-like non-slip handle, the humanized design is comfortable. The well made, good weight, no nooks and crannies to trap food, and the somewhat longer handle gives more leverage when pounding your meat is what makes it well made. Make a delicious meal. If you don't have a chicken pounder hammer tool, you can just wipe it clean and store it in your cabinet or drawer. There is a safety and sanitary. There are no gaps on the hammer head, which is safer and sanitary. The meat tenderizer works well to tenderize meat. The weight makes the job done quickly without making a mess. It is dishwasher safe and the material is of top quality. MULTIFUNCTIONAL TOOL: smooth flat side for tenderizing chicken, steak, veal. The tenderizer is heavy and on the side is smooth. It doesn't take a lot of force to tenderize the meat. It is possible to pierce the meat and tenderize it without a lot of effort.
👤I'm giving it a poor review because they lied about the material. I'm an expert on structures for a US airline. It's a light weight metal that has been coated with a shiny substance. It does not have the heft you would expect from a heavy object. The base metal will oxidize. It's a matter of time.
👤I'm not sure if this is made with steel or not. It looks like it has been chrome plated, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but maybe not honest advertising. Otherwise, well made, good weight, no nooks and crannies to trap food, and the somewhat longer handle gives more leverage when pounding your meat.
👤I was surprised by how heavy this feels. It is one piece, so no chance of breaking points. It's easier to clean. It was a good value.
👤The meat tenderizer has no hammer. The 304 steel goes into the dishwasher without any issues. It is a single piece so there is no hiding place for food particles or juices. It works on both sides. Many uses from meats to ice cubes to cut flower ends. The product is great.
👤The mallet came in a pack with all the tags and was not tampered with. The shipping was very fast. Shipping packaging protected the order. Highly recommend.
👤This was cheap and lite. The only type of steal on it was made out of aluminum. I returned it because it wasn't what I was looking for.
👤The mallet works the way I like it to. This item would definitely be purchased again.
👤The meat mallet works great. I got carried away and almost killed my chicken breast. Looks good.
It is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The kraut pounder is one solid piece of beech wood, making it not easy to crack and split into food. Strong enough to pound cabbages or other pickle veggies out juice and tightly pack them into crocks and jars for best fermentation- faster and easier than hands and spoon. It can fit perfectly into wide and regular mouth mason jars, fido style jars, and ceramic fermentation crocks. The design and shape was finished in an ideal length of 12. It is comfortable to hold thanks to the curved shape. They will give you a full refund if you don't like your sauerkraut pounder.
👤There is a wood fillinger. It said that there was no glue or wood filler used. There were two spots of wood that I had to shave off and sand down. I thought the product was advertised. There is an update. I received a second product. The pounder split after just one use, and it appears that it will only get worse from here. This wood is not very good. I contacted the customer support and they gave me a lot of misleading excuses, including that the wood was not wood filler and that the split was due to dry weather. After sending me 2 shoddy products and giving me a bunch of untruthful explanations for the product, they refunded me for the product. The experience is laughable because the representative's excuses for the poor quality of their products are not true.
👤One of my photos shows a person standing next to a jar. I was going to buy a different brand. I went with the Soligit pounder because the other stompers reviews were mediocre at best. I almost bought a Masontops tamper-pounder but decided not to because of reviews which said it was made of pieces of wood together. I read a lot of reviews and came across this piece of Solid Wood, which was one piece of the Soligit pounder. It seems that beech wood is a popular type of wood used in the country of Germany, which is called Kraut central for Kraut tampers. The reviews said it was solid beechwood, and that the size was also good, so I said I would buy it. I bought one. I use mineral oil to keep it from drying out. I have two different sizes of tampers in my collection, each made of solid wood. I love the taller one from Humblehouse called the Sauerstomper and the smaller one from Soligit.
👤This was bought in February and had not been used until today. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and there were two cracks. It's a waste of money.
👤I didn't get around to using the Soligt sauerkraut pounder that I bought in July of last year. I made a bunch of sauerkraut and found it had a crack of about 3 inches. I washed and dried it immediately after using it. There are multiple cracks in it starting at the bottom and moving up. I'm not happy with my choice. I thought the pounder would be a good product.
👤Did you have a blemish that appeared to have been a small repair? Not a big deal to me. I didn't think much of it, but after making sauerkraut the blemish is becoming a split down the grain of the wood. I think it will work. I am concerned about what type of glue or substance was used in the attempt to repair the blemish. The box has already been thrown away. It is not worth the trouble to return.
👤Solid wood! It was great for packing my Giardiniera. I was very happy with this purchase, it was a lot bigger than I anticipated. Please let me know if this review was helpful.
A 1-year warranty, satisfactory and quality. Hand wash is not recommended for dishwasher use. If the item you received has an issue, please contact them for a replacement. The handle accessories are missing. There are scratches on the item or handle. It is possible to cook meat with flavor, spices, and dry rub marinades. Ice for cocktails, loosen frozen vegetables, crack crab, and crush garlic are great for baking. The meat mallet is made from food-grade zinc-alloy. It is dishwasher safe and has a strong and durable kitchen tool. The meat hammer has a soft rubber handle and gives you an excellent grip. The large hammer head allows the mallet and gravity to do all the work in less time. It's easy on your hand. No need to hesitate with this chicken tenderizer steak tenderizer. The best meat pounder tool you have ever seen is the kitchen smasher. You will fall in love.
👤The double sided head has two teeth that are effective. It is too small to be practical. The heads are barely more than a square. The handle has a burr that makes it less desirable. I will give it away for a gag gift.
👤It looks like it will be a great meat tenderizer when it grows up. It would have been great if this was double the size. Unreal.
👤It's small when using the cutting board to avoid smashing your hand into the counter.
👤Very small. Unless you pound chicken hearts, do not buy.
👤After watching a lot of ATK programs, I used skinny handles on the hammers. There is a This is easy to use. I don't know how easy it is to clean, I only use it on meat in a plastic bag. It has been through the dishwasher a few times and still looks good.
👤The packs a wallop! Powerful little weapon. It works for me. A real chef wouldn't like it. If I had read the specifications, I would have chosen something larger. I might put it in my car and use it for protection.
👤It had two sizes. Most of the time, I found a hammer on one side. Wanted one with hammers in different sizes. Great product.
👤I replaced my old tenderizer with this one. I don't regret it. It's heavy enough to flatten meat and it's sharp enough to tenderize. It's easy to clean between points.
If there is a problem with the product, you can contact them and they will solve it for you. Peeling garlic is a perfect tool for your needs. Smash and it is done. Chicken cutlets are thin and crisp. You have it! Is it possible to remove the strength of your meat? This makes them tender and juicy. The Zulay Kitchen Meat Hammer is designed to rise above the ordinary. It is light on the hands and heavy on the head, which makes it soft meat after a few pounds. The dimensions are 2 x 2.2 and 1.8 inches. The design is comfortable and has a black non-stick coating that protects the metal through years of use. The soft handle is comfortable for both left and right-handed users and it absorbs the shock waves of the weight when pounding or smashing meat to your preferred tenderness. The textured side is useful for piercing and tenderizing meat, which is perfect for producing tender, succulent, and flavorful steaks in no time. Cleaning the built-in Hanging Hole after use is necessary because it was in contact with raw meat and needed a more thorough and sanitary cleaning. You can put it in a drawer or hang it near your stove or countertop. Zulay guarantees no hassle with a lifetime guarantee on the meat hammer. They will make it right if you contact them. This product will live up to your expectations if you order now. They've got you covered even if it doesn't. Chances are you will not need to reach out.
👤A person with arthritis in their hands has a comfortable grip.
👤You beat your meat with it. What else do you want it to do?
👤It was well made. Not just hollow aluminum has weight to it. It's non stick coated so my food isn't exposed to toxic aluminum. Very happy with the product.
👤Un excelente herramienta de cocina, excedi mis expectativas, por la calidad del producto. A pesar de ser liviano tiene un excelente trabajo en la carne, me encanto el color.
👤Substantial, sturdy, looks great, functional - does the job, feels good in your hand. The item is a great price.
👤Nice weight and finish. I have this in my cooking tools.
👤Got for my husband to flatten meat. Does a good job.
The mark is backed by the West. The material is dishwasher safe. The meat tenderizer hammer is made from the best type of food-grade steel. You can put the meat tenderizer tool in the dishwasher top rack if you so choose. Solid build: They don't use aluminum alloy and they don't use a thin layer of steel wrapped on the outside. Their meat mallet is cast entirely of the best steel, no welding, no bolting, and no gaps for food to stick to. There is no room for the bad actor to grow. There is an elegant design. The textured surface is ideal for tenderizing meat. The flat side works as a flattener. The kitchen hammer's surface is tilted so that you can't hit the counter or cutting board. Heavy-DUTY: Make sure to check the hammer's weight before buying it. If you are using it for your restaurant, it will make your job easier. The handle has an oval shape and gives you better control over the hammer. The size of the handle is suitable for most users.
👤I love to cook beef based stew with potatoes and carrots but most of the time I eat fresh, green cruciferous veggies such as Swiss chard and broccoli. It isn't stew unless it has a little meat. Where's da beef? I usually buy a pound and a half of stew meat from my Italian butcher. Oh yeah, right? I'm allowed a little literary license, but not unless you tenderize a da beef. Now to the review! I've tried many types of aluminum and aluminum zinc alloy, but they oxidize too quickly in a dishwasher, and I've read a lot of negative things about eating food that's touched or cooked with aluminum. This cast STAINLESS STEEL was manufactured in China. The meat tenderizer has a flat face for cutlets and a multi-pyramidal pointed face for tenderizing. If you know anything about stew meat, it's very tough, so "copious tenderizing" must be used. Even though I am using a slow cooker, I find it helps with the meat by allowing it to impart extra beef flavor with either a slow cooker or stovetop slow boil and simmer method. I am a licensed mechanical engineer. I know a piece of equipment when I use it. The mallet tool weighs about an ounce. 1 pound. It is just about the correct amount of weight, so one doesn't "mash" the meat whilst tenderizing, but could have a better grip to the handle. It is balanced well enough, it is a PRIME and most important design characteristic for a hand culinary tool of this type. The handle is a plastic, elliptical shape on top and bottom and doesn't lend itself to a great grip. I suppose it is a practical design for ambidextrous, right or left hand use but, with just a little more forethought to the design conception in terms of slight finger grooves for a right and/or left hand model/s, it would have been a most brilliant design. There is a It is the best that I've ever encountered, and I have used and discarded a bunch of these. I did a basic test on it and I highly recommend it. It is definitely worth the cost. There is a I spend a lot of time, energy, and moola on stuff that I buy and use here on amamzon so if this review was helpful, I would buy it. You know what to do. Ladies and gentlemen, many thanks!
👤This thing is very close to being a weapon. One side is not straight. The other side has points. A full pound. I went through the dishwasher without any strange odors or pitting. The handle is nice. The hand feels steady. Would buy again.
👤I have to leave a review for this meat tenderizer because it is so good. It is very hard to find a Meat Tenderizer made from Cast STAINLESS STEEL, most of them are cast aluminum which I never used for cooking related works for healthy concerns. Most meat tenderizers are wrapped in steel sheets, even for the high end ones. This one is made with fully cast STAINLESS STEEL, but also with a different type of steel, which makes it better for salt and acid resistance. The finish looks great. If you clean it every time you use it, it will not get rusted. If it will not add too much more weight, I would suggest making the handle with full caststainless steel and adding holes to reduce the weight on the casted handle. I would like to buy a whole body cast one for $50 or more.
SATISFACTION is one year for any issue. The meat tenderizer tool has two different sides, the flat side for cooking and the textured side for tenderizing Venison, Pork, Veal, Lamb, Chicken, Steak and Other Meats. It makes it easier to crush hard candy and nuts. The design and grip of endocannabinoids. The soft rubber mallet handle fits comfortably in your hand and is designed for ease of use. The meat mallet gives you excellent grip, making sure the hammer doesn't slip. Commercial grade steel. K Basix will never rust. Their meat beater can be used to loosen packages of frozen veggies, loosen garlic skin, prepare cracked crab, and even break up ice cubes for drinks. Convenient storage and dishwasher friendly: The kitchen mallet has a hole that can be used to hang the hammer in the kitchen. You can clean the meat hammer with soap and water. If there are ever any issues with their products, just contact them and they will make it right. This product will live up to your expectations if you order now.
👤The meat tenderizer is not 100% STAINLESS STEEL and I have used a super strong magnet to show the only places on the meat tenderizer where the magnet is ferromagnetic. It arrived with a black coating on the handle that will not last long and I have no idea what it is made of, I hope it isn't toxic or anything. It isn't one piece that is solidly constructed. The metal pieces are assembled in thin crevices and openings that can easily be used to trap food particles. I'm going to make sure to only use it between sheets of butcher paper. It is heavy, which is good, and the rounded nubs are not as good as a more traditional pyramidal point, but it is difficult to find one in stainless steel.
👤Love it. I bought others that were more positive. The weight is enough to make a cutlet, but not so much that you pound it through. The dimpled side is a plus because they rip the meat. These are not straight. It works perfectly. I highly recommend.
👤The product was already used/ damaged when it arrived. There are little knicks all over the mallet. The metal that is used in construction is fairly solid, but there are some seams and joins that look like they will make good hiding places. There is a The little nubs that are supposed to tenderize your meat are off-center on our mallet. If it wasn't cheap, it would be acceptable, but it's the same price as the OXO tenderizers.
👤I don't like having tough meat that you have to chew forever, and I make a lot of chicken based dishes. I used to have a mallet that had the head removed. It worked, but it was inconvenient as the head would come off. I love how this mallet feels in my hand. It is light and does not slip. It has been very effective for flattening and tenderizing. I love that my kitchen has a hook that I can use to hang my drawers up. The fact that it is dishwasher safe is a plus.
👤This is dishwasher proof and it is my first criteria. It's a word. This does what it's supposed to do, but it does it well. The head is heavy enough to pound the meat consistently. It's a great meat tenderizsr.
👤This is a good tenderizer that should get the job done for most. It has a nice finish. The tenderizing side is a little too subtle, and doesn't penetrate as much as I would have hoped for. The weight and balance are good and the flattening side is perfect for flattening meats. There is a note. The tenderizer is a little lighter on the lighter side, and my unit arrived with a slight divet on the side.
👤One of the suggested questions for Amazon reviews is, "What did you use this product for?" I used it to pound my meat. How easy is it to use? It's a tool. It's a hammer with a lanyard ring and a nice grip, but it's not a hammer. It was the first tool humans made when they figured out how to combine "stick" and "rock". If you can't figure out how to pound meat with a meat hammer, then you need to pound it by hand. There is a I really like it. I use it to make chicken roulade. It works well and is the right size and weight for my tasks.
It comes with a one-year warranty. If the item you received has an issue, please contact them for a replacement. There are missing accessories. The item has some surface scratches or other defects. The tool is used for pounding and tenderizing poultry, pork and beef. The side has pyramid-shaped teeth that are ideal for tenderizing meat. The smooth side maximizes the surface area. The angle and weight of the head are used to flatten. Soft, non-slip grips are used for safety and comfort. It is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. The plastic is impact-resistant and has a solid steel core.
👤I had an aluminum one, but it was much nicer. The tool is much heavier and requires less swing and tears up meat than my old one, which I have only used to flatten chicken so far. It's easy to clean without places where food can hide. The angle on the head is strange but it works perfectly.
👤This is the first mallet I have ever owned and I have a few things I don't like. The weight is a positive thing. The handle is too short. I think the head could be a bit bigger. If you needed to use it for something other than chicken breast, you may want to look for one with a longer handle. The weight is okay but would have liked it to be heavier. If these improvements are made and the newer models are as good as they are, it would be perfect. Oxo is always good but this one could use improvement. Make sure to double check all 8 corners after my first mallet arrived with a damaged corner.
👤The old one lost its coating a long time ago. Your hand turned black when you used it. I wondered if it was leaving metal on our food. The old one was replaced. There is a This was very nice. It has a good grip. I can wash it in the dishwasher. My hands don't get weird marks anymore. I hope this one lasts me for a long time.
👤I needed a mallet that was heavy enough to do the job, but not so heavy that it would crush chicken. This one is perfect for my needs.
👤I was excited to receive this in the mail. It's a little small but it would work well for what I need. I was excited to see it, but I found that one of the corners had damage, which made me question if it would be a sturdy tool. I will be shopping in person for a different one.
👤The head is small. I had an old ikea dishwasher that I didn't like. This one is great for that. Cleaning meat out in between spikes was not fun.
👤I use it to flatten the chicken breast, not heavy but enough to do the job, it has a flat side and texture side, I haven't used it to tender beef or other meats. Is not big for a small kitchen. This is a great tool to add to your kitchen. There is a Me encanta una herramienta, pero no es tan grande, pero me funciona.
👤I bought this mallet to flatten butterfly chicken for an air fryer meal that we like. It does that job very well. To strike flat, you don't have to have the mallet parallel to the surface, but rather at a gentle angle. I'm not sure if this helps or not. OXO makes some pretty quality utensils, and this seemed like the best option for me at the price I paid. It works well, and looks great while sitting. Just like the guy using it.
Their easy to use, meat pounder is made from heavy-duty steel with a nonslip grip and is dishwasher safe. It's easy to toss it in the dishwasher when you're done. The meat tenderizer is based on the hammer of Mjolnir. The head is engraved with the phrase "Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of THOR" Don't tenderize like a person. It's double sided and ideal for tenderizing meat. It's a great gift for fans of the Avenger's who want to impress in the kitchen. Officially licensed merchandise from the comic book company. Only hand wash. The measures are 7.5" x 3.5"
👤I use this to beat my meat. It does a great job.
👤The "hammer" did not come in a branded box, but in a regular cardboard box. A kitchen tool is very suspicious. Maybe it was a return and they put it in the warehouse? I was going to gift it to a family member that loved cooking and was a fan of superheros, but without the box it was not displayable and took the fun out of it. Returned right away. It's not giftable, and the way it came without a box makes me wonder where it's been. I wouldn't use it myself either.
👤A gift to give to a marvel lover! The rubber sleeve on the handle came off when we returned the first one, but when we received the replacement it did the same, so I suppose they are just the way the product is made. The metal hammer portion flew out of the rubber sleeve across the room when my son swung the hammer hard. It didn't break a window, tv, or another child. I think so. It was a gift from our son that we still gave it to our husband because it is so much fun, but we don't know if the rubber part can handle the dishwasher over time.
👤The image of the product makes you think of a big mallet. Not true. It is light and small. The head is made of aluminum and metal. A full grown adult could use a heavy mallet. This isn't it, and it costs more than the others. The licensing fee is the extra cost. Amazon makes it easy to return. The head broke off the handle as I was packing it up. There were only four tiny little tacks that held the handle onto the light head. I hit a piece of meat. It's too light, it's too small, and it's so cheap that it's useless as anything other than a display item. Your baby could use it as a rattle if he wasn't too rough with it.
👤This is a toy or prop that is made to look like a kitchen implement, but it isn't. The head of the hammer is hollow and not strong enough to be used for hammering schnitzel, and it feels like it would break after being used to prepare dinner. Only hand-wash is used. It comes in a pretty plastic presentation box with a cardboard stand that was mangled, probably from previous shipping since I bought one that was listed as damage rather than pay full price. I paid $17 for it. I'm disappointed that I can't actually use it in my kitchen, but it's worth it for geeky amusement on the shelf. Most of the stuff from the comic book company is better. The Captain America teapot works well.
👤I am worthy because I can pick it up. I held it up in the air, expecting the bolts to come down and make me a god. I wasn't cooking. I will become a cook if I do it while preparing food. Not sure. Is it a gift? Hope they can lift it. It's a good thing. It seems to have made well. It is nice looking. It will pound meat. It is not certain if it is threaded on or just glue. Hopefully it's both. I'll update as such if I'm told it had a huge breakdown.
The meat hammer is made in Germany. It has two different hitting surfaces, one with a fine structure for flattening meat without cutting into its fiber and the other with a coarse structure. A metal. The Meat hammer has a fine structure for flattening meat without cutting into its fiber and a coarse structure for tenderizing. The mark is backed by the West.
👤I wouldn't say it's a rip off, but it's smaller than other versions I've seen. I thought it was the bigger 12in, I think it's a bigger tenderizing head. We can go through a lot of chicken. I'll keep it for the price paid and the fact that there's a restocking fee, but I can get the larger Commercial Westmark tenderizer for the same price from my friend that knows a butcher. I can't find the larger one on Amazon. If you're betty crocker, you don't need a mallet that's durable. There is a If you're a chef, you should get the commercial one for this price. Don't buy this, it won't be what you're expecting.
👤This is a meat product. A serious tool. My sons thought it was my kitchen gavel. It is a pleasure to use. There is a The small ones that everyone is used to requires a lot of work and can often lead to imprecise results. The tool is small and can be used to slow the head speed down a bit and still have a better finished product.
👤This is a great purchase because of the 5 year warranty. One side has shallow grooves for pounding chicken while the other side has deep grooves for pounding meat. It was worried that it would be large. It is not. It was perfect!
👤I usually buy from the 3P sellers on Amazon. I learned my lesson after getting the less sturdy junior version of the Westmark model. Don't buy from the 3P sellers on Amazon.com. Everything is good now that I have the real deal. Sturdy construction, enough weight to tenderize a cutlet. It's dinner now.
👤For years, I have used a small sledge hammer as my meat tenderizer because we don't eat much meat and have little need for it. I wanted to keep the meat tenderizer in the kitchen. This one is sturdy and does a good job.
👤I was very excited to find this on Amazon, but I am very disappointed in the product I received, the handle is shorter and duller than it used to be, and the other side is nothing but a stamped flat piece of metal.
