I love the weight of them because I don't have to worry about them warping from the heat of my cooking temperatures. The handle is large and smooth when you pick them up. 👤A good pan. Is it heavy? It's cast iron. Will it rust? If not treated well. It's very likely that you will break your foot if you drop it on it. If you want a light that can be abused and not cared for and if dropped won't break your foot then cast iron isn't for you. The pan has a rough feel to it. It was much easier to feel after seasoning. I place it in the oven at 450 degrees by wiping on a layer of cooking oil. Maybe even smoke a little. After 30 minutes or more, I wipe the pan off with a paper towel, and if it still feels rough, do oil and heat again. It will have a smooth feel eventually. There is a Most of the cast iron pans are like this. Pre-seasoned is a minimal amount of pre-season. Most will benefit from more seasoning. I don't worry about seasoning the bottom of the pans as much as I do the top. I would buy another one if I needed one.

I was looking for a griddle that would sit on top of my old stove, which is a flat surface electric one. The heat distribution is fantastic and this one works perfectly. Everything is cooked perfectly. It is easy to clean. I know that the handles get hot because I read that from another reviewer. I only use the handles to place the griddle on top of the stove, which is what you are supposed to do before washing it. It doesn't matter if you know they get hot. I would give this 4 1/2 stars if it was an option, but only because the handles get hot. It is great, but only if that is the case. If you don't mind the handles, this is a great option that I would highly recommend.
👤The handles are not used and they get in the way of the griddle, which is a good thing. I will cut mine off. The cooking surface is reduced because the griddle has a 1 inch gullies all the way around to collect grease from bacon. If you are using the griddle to cook onions or peppers it is a bad idea because they will fall in there and be hard to get out. I use a spatula to apply the coating and it holds up. The heat distribution is great and only has a small temp difference in the middle.

👤I paid $50 for a setup. The burner is great for wok'ing. The kit is easy to assemble. Make sure to put the big ring on top of the wok. After using the big ring on the bottom, I had to redo mine. Don't have too high of expectations for $50. Most indoor gas ranges are too anemic in terms of gas flow and BTU's to achieve an acceptable stir-fry. I would like to see the burner shield and the bottom of the wok covered so that there is no wind when cooking outdoors. I might add a secondary wind screen here. The actual wok... It is made from mild steel. Don't cook on this bad boy. If you have to, you can scrub the parafin with hot soapy water, then fire the burner up, and heat the first round without oil. As you work the wok, the steel will oxidize. Once it has a uniform color, kill the heat and let the wok cool down a bit. Then coat inside and outside with peanut oil. You will get a shiny black wok that is non-stick and won't rust if you smoke it. My first use with a wok was non-stick. The 4-stars is justified. Don't use it indoors.
