Each pot is lightweight and solid because of the strong structure. It is a must have survival gear that can last a long time. All of the camping supplies can be stored in the pot pan kit. The handles on the pot or stove can be folded. The camping cooking set can be stored together in a mesh bag for easy carry. Enjoy cooking. This awesome survival gear and equipment is designed for anyone who loves camping outdoors. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.
👤All on a good product. It's easy to clean and lightweight. This is a great option for two people. The handles started to burn up after the second use. These were not used on a campfire, but on a Coleman propane roadtrek grill. You can see how high the flame gets even with a grill plate, even though they said it was heat resistant. The cups look like espresso shot glasses.
👤I bought this set to split it into two sets. One for me and one for my son. The sizes were perfect. The stove is very hot. The plastic handles are melting. This wont happen if you center your pot on the stove. A bad review is not carelessness. I made hot chocolate water using the big pot on the last camping trip. The pot was left on the stove empty and burning hot during the madness of getting everyone set up. I pulled it off the stove after catching it. The interior finish was not damaged. Which supported me. There is a If you decide to split it into two kits, this is a great backpacking kit. Great purchase.
👤I bought this to use as a mess kit while hiking and camping with my girlfriend. It has been a decent kit so far. I've cooked potatoes in it before and they stick to the bottom. I cooked chili cheese mac which did burn on the bottom, but I used the kit for the second night. I probably had the burner too high. The burner works well in slight breezes, but I would recommend getting some sort of wind protection for higher wind areas. If you need to cook or just boil some water, the burner is a decent size and lightweight. Coffee was easy to drink. I am happy so far. It's easy to scrub off stuck food.
👤The pots worked well on my trip. I bring more cooking supplies when I camp, but these worked great for a backpacking camping trip where I couldn't pack much. If you use them all the time, they will start to degrade. The pots are thin and after using them once they have some heat in the bottom. They are great for the price. I like the little cups and silverware that come with them. They do the job despite being a little hard to balance on the stand. It's hard to clean a campsite.
👤This is the most used item in my camping arsenal, after taking this kit on 4 trips so far. The burner comes with the kit. It took a bit of practice to figure it out, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. You can loop a carabiner onto your backpack. It was a great purchase and worth every penny.
👤Heavy gear is high quality. It is pretty amazing that everything is well together. I am writing this on a camping trip to Sturgis as I use it. The burner works well as I boil water for noodles, coffee and oatmeal. Add a fuel tank and you are cooking!
REDCAMP offers a full manufacturer warranty for a year. They will give you a full refund or a replacement for any broken piece. Are you a huge fan of camping in the woods or BBQ at the backyard? The Tapirus large telescopic bonfire stick set of 4 is the best way to savesay Roasting delicacies, vegetables and meat has never been that easy. Invest in this kitchen must utensil addition and you will be able to enjoy camping with your loved ones. The hot dog strippers are made of durable STAINLESS STEEL. Their sticks are made of durable steel and will not bend or corrode, so don't worry about poorly camping equipment metal sticks. They are made from high quality steel and are rust proof and resistant tocorrosion. The double-prongeds will end the rotating marshmallows nightmare. When it comes to campfire forks and roasting your favorite food, do not compromise with anything less than perfect. The BBQ skewers have an ergonomics design that will allow the sticks to be held to the fullest. Feel the difference when you hold one in your hands. You can use them as they work best for you or your kids. They tried to make the s'mores skewers very convenient to use by everyone. The soft handles will allow you to hold them safely without burning your hands. Each fork has two mini red safety caps to protect them from accidental poking. Place them in a cute black carrying bag and off you go! There are multiple tactics for churchyard Their camping roasting sticks are great for camping and food adventures. Take them to camping and beach excursions, hiking and trekking trips, lake fishing and mountain hunting, bonfire gatherings and BBQ fiestas. They can be used to roast hot hogs, marshmallows, smores, meatballs, fish fillets, shrimps, vegetables, mushrooms and so many more. Correct, pure perfection.
👤Hood idea was bad. The pole is long. It is not long enough to help over an open fire. Most people cook marshmallows and hot dogs with these types of forks and sadly they won't hold up. You have to put marshmallows on it. If you are going to cook marshmallows, you have to put one on each side. You don't get the strength of having two tines through your food. That is fine if you are an adult. I got these in place of the normal coat hanger wire ones so that the children wouldn't be near the campfire when cooking. Longer bending pole plus wide set tines makes it less sturdy and more likely to cause food loss into the fire. Tines are shorter than the old school version. We will not be taking them on camping trips because we used them.
👤It worked well for s'mores in my backyard. I can see what people are talking about, but you don't need to because they are fairly long. Not an issue with marshmallows. I wouldn't cook hotdogs or sausages all the way since they are heavier than marshmallows. They are easy to clean in the sink and sand wash with a quick rinse or wipe.
👤Due to fire bans at the campsite, we have not been able to use these for roasting marshmallows. They fit perfectly into my camping bin. I will update if something changes.
👤The forks were placed in their protective pouch and sealed in a plastic bag after they arrived in great condition. Each fork had rubber safety caps on it. The forks are built well and have nice grips that keep your hands from getting hot. The rods are very similar to the ones you would find on a portable radio, they are a bit thinner than I was expecting. I have been using the forks for a while and they have held up well. I used the forks on a camping trip to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. I put two hot dogs on each fork. The rods are long enough to keep you away from the fire. These campfire forks are better than sharpening sticks. I received a set of extendable camping forks. The Forks have insulated handles. The Hot Dog & marshmallows Roasting Sticks are extended to 33.9 at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion. I give the items an honest review, even if I paid more for them. When I review items, I always go by the recommendations on Amazon. I don't like it. There are three stars. It's okay. I like it. I love it.
👤I wanted to love them all. I was impressed when I extended them after I pulled them out of the bag. The 4th one extended out of the handle. The other 3 were okay. I thought it was a lemon. When my toddler was roasting his marshmallows it was very loud. I ordered a replacement for this because the other reviews were pretty good.
The heavy gauge aluminum griddle has a non-stick surface for easy clean-up. The hook for hanging to dry or storage is integrated. essential gear for car camping, RV trailers, motor homes, cabins and more
👤It's not what it's designed for when the griddle is put onto a fire. It says on the label to not heat it too quickly or expose it to extreme heat. The Coleman 2- burner stove has been great because we have used this griddle so many times. It's the same as it was the day we bought it. We've done a lot of things on it, including burgers and hotdogs, eggs, sausage, pancakes, bacon, pork chops, and so many other things.
👤I wanted to like them. I bought two of them for a camping trip. It seemed to be what I needed. It was difficult to pour off the bacon grease after it was cooked. Sausages were also cooked on it. They both warped after just those uses. I wonder if I got them too hot. The food didn't burn. The rounded corners are where part of the coating is chipping off. They are a little flimsy. They're not usable anymore because food would slide all downhill in one direction due to the warping and grease would roll down into the fire. My parents have had a Coleman camp griddle for over 50 years. It's in good shape. There is a well all around the edge. I didn't borrow it because they live too far away. I thought these would be just the thing, but it seems that I was wrong. It was right for me to go cheaper.
👤I bring this camping with me. Eggs in the morning and bacon are perfect for the steaks, burgers, toast buns and bagels I cook. If using over an open fire, buy a grate like the one in my picture that will raise it above the fire and put it on. The flat top grate won't work very well without it.
👤It works great with my Coleman grill. We plan to use this for breakfast when camping. We did a trial run and it turned out great.
👤This is my second Coghlans griddle. The first one vanished after using it on several tailgate and camping trips. I'm not sure if the designer used the pan while camping because it's easy to clean and it's size is good. If you camp, you know that picnic tables are usually unbalanced. I have several pieces of wood cut in various thicknesses to stick under the picnic table legs in order to balance it. Because the lip on the griddle is not very high, it is easy to spill things on the stove. C'mon Coghlans! Someone from your company should read this and redesign it with a higher lip.
👤I bought this griddle to make breakfast in my kitchen. This fits perfectly over my stove, and I got a more affordable option instead of buying an electric griddle. It's lightweight so it slides when cooking. I have to wear an oven mitt to hold it down.
👤It's a great addition to my camping gear. I made breakfast food and washed it well. I wonder why I bothered with the heavy skillet after forgetting it. It has a cold spot in the middle where there isn't any flame, but it takes up both burners. I had to make pancakes over the burner.
The folding spork is light weight and made in the USA. Smores sticks are dangerous and awkward to store, so keep your kids safe. The marshmallows symphony smores maker is extendable like a radio antenna up to 34 inches, not like other skewers that are only 22 inches long, keeping your children at a safe distance from any fire pits, camp fire or camping fire pit. These campfire sticks are a lot more secure when there is a collapse. They are much easier to travel with. The Premium, smil steel hotdog forks are easy to clean and fun to use. Kids are having fun using them. 6 rotating marshmallo sticks, natural wood handles, 6 different vibrant color rings, tip protectors for safety, plus cute Storage Canvas Pouch & Roasting Guide are included. There is a free book with amazing cooking recipes. Who knew that marshmellow roasting tongs were so excited? For Campers, this is a great gift for constant campers and bonfire lovers, backyard firepit party, fireplace smore making, for kids that love sweet treats, girls and boys scouts, for wonderful birthday parties and magical weddings. It's perfect as camping accessories, camping equipment, grilling accessories and bbq. Everyone will smile at this cute rotating marshmallows roaster kit. Their guideline is your experience with the products. They will get to you in 24 hours if you send them an e-mail. They had to back them up with their personal assurance of Customer satisfaction and enjoyment. Send them back for a new set if you don't like them. No questions asked! Their customer service is behind your order. Everyone will like your new campfire skewers. Natural Wood handles will make these telescopic forks pleasant to use. Unlike other skewer sticks, they have no color paint. There will be no arguments regarding color preferences if the different color rings are used. The best camping gear for kids is this one.
👤We bought these for a camping trip and liked them. It is nice to have different lengths to roast a hotdog. The differing colors for each of them are fun. I took one star away because I didn't like the fact that the wooden handle was loose from the metal. I kept an eye out for stores that I went to and noticed that other sets seem to be built the same way, with the wooden handle on the end. I found other ones that were not like this, and one that was solidly attached to the metal. These are a good product, they are good quality, and the handle just doesn't like me. We will definitely keep using them and I would recommend them to others.
👤Excellent gift. Everyone is having fun and our friends are buying for us. There is a The first purchase was to thank our friend for having us over. The wife mentioned at dinner that they only carried marshmallows in the summer and the store was sold out. There is a I decided to send all of our family members. I thought it would be a great activity to do at home. There is a I thought I would order a set for us too. A few months ago, we roasted marshmallows on our stove. I found a wonderful American greetings card with your roasting stick set. It was a thank you card.
👤They were used for roasting marshmallows. They telescoped a good amount for young kids. Not sure how sturdy the ends would hold up with heavier items like hotdogs, but they didn't bend with jumbo marshmallows skewered on. There is a It's small, lightweight, and comes with a carrying bag, extra rubber ends to protect it from being poked from the end skewers, and different colored rings for family members to claim. One of the few I have found that comes in a 6-pack is one that you can spin on your own. The skewers are very pointed, so I couldn't tell if they were plastic or wood. It's probably a good thing, but don't misplace those rubber ends. The bag could be cinched better. Unless you knot it, the strings won't stay closed. The logo could have been placed more in the middle so it wasn't pulled in so much at the top. This is the first time we have had roasting sticks that are not made from sticks or wire hangers. I felt they were decent, but a little cheap.
👤I bought these and a cheaper set of small sticks for a large party. If you only get one set, they can roast two marshmallows at the same time and handle standard hot dogs. You can see the smaller ones in the picture. These do not hold hot dogs securely, but are worth it for the security.
👤I was very excited when I saw these roasting sticks. We have used a few other roasting sticks and forks, but none were as thought out and amazing as these! The attention to detail is amazing, like the different color indicators so everyone has their own, avoiding the normal confusion of "which one is mine again." These are longer than others. I have never seen a set with six sticks. They came in a bag that is easy to misplace, so they won't get lost. The rubber cap on the prongs is an awesome feature, since they are so sharp. I discovered you get a little baggy of replacement caps. There is a Be sure to contact them if there is anything wrong. They do care about their products and back them with an extended warranty. Veronica, the co-owner, told me that I may have a bad bunch. The stick should lock in place when extended. The stick starts collapsing when I put the marshmallows on the prongs. Veronica was going to send me a new set without hesitation. I think we can deal with this issue because I received these as part of an amazing promotion. Everything about this company, from the steer roasting sticks to everything else, I am beyond impressed and appreciative. Thank you so much!

The best money you can spend is on the 15 piece camping cookware set, which includes 1 x L pot, 1 x S pot, 1 x fry pan, 2 x forks, 2 x knives, and 2 x Silicone protectors. 👤It was so small and clean when it arrived. I love it when the trail is clean.
👤I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the reviews, but decided to take the leap. The last time I went camping, I brought cookware that wasn't made for such an activity and lost some beloved pots and pans. I am glad we got these. They were supposed to be used over a Coleman cooking stove, but were prepared poorly. We threw these over the fire and they exceeded our expectations. We were able to make our dinner quickly, and the handles didn't melt over the flames. They cleaned up after cooking. It is perfect for a couple on a camping trip. We can't wait to use them again.
👤It's a great buy for people getting into camping. The pots/pans were perfect size after everything collapsed into them. The cup grips are necessary, very hot without them.
👤My 5 year olds toy kitchen set is a part of this horrible product. She loves them because they look like big ones but they are so small that you can't cook or serve them. The biggest waste of money I have ever spent. I already had pots and pans because they wouldn't serve my teenage sons bacon, fish fins, or even half an egg. It is not suitable for cooking. The cups and sleeves are too small and don't fit. The product should be half off at the store. Straight up.
👤Terrible quality. The cups are kid sized, the sleeves don't fit, and the handle broke on the first use. Don't ask about non-stick properties. This is useful for boiling water, but I don't think I'd trust it for that. There is a This was a huge waste of money. It would have been better to spend more on the higher quality names. I still have to do that. I spent almost 50 bucks on a mesh back and crappy silverware. It was hard to pass on this one.
👤These are too small to cook for 2 people and even though they are Teflon, they are not! Everything sticks. You have to soak them to get rid of the food. I couldn't get them to fit back together.
👤I realized that pieces were smaller than I thought because I have been learning about how much we eat. It should have included the coffee pot. Recommendations for cooking on a propane grill are needed. Or on the fire? Preparing for a year without food stores. Pots are definitely small. Mylar bags are used to heat food.
👤I ran my fingers on the pan after the first wash and it left a chemical smell. The one star reviews should not be ignored. I don't recommend this product and you will regret it.
If the black meat cleaver doesn't meet your expectations, they will give you a full refunds or replacements. You can enjoy testing their quality and service if you purchase absolutely risk-free. The gift box is sealed with film and the sheath is made of wood. It is suitable for your own use or as a gift. A lodge has a cast iron skillet. The heat retention and heating is unparalleled. Pre-seasoned with vegetable oil. Use to cook, bake, broil, fry, or grill. You can use it in the oven, on the stove, or over a campfire. It's great for induction cooktops. Lodge L8Sk3 10-1/4-Inch Pre-Seasoned Skillet was included.
👤This pan is used for everything except eggs. I feel like I can give a longer term review because we've had this one for a while now. The biggest thing I don't like about this pan is that it didn't feel like it had been seasoned, so we looked up some videos and instructions and did it. The more we use the pan, the better it gets. My husband and I love this thing. Eggs seem to not cook right. When it comes to cooking with cast iron, there is a learning curve, but once you figure it out, it is very enjoyable to cook on and the food comes out delicious. There is a There are lots of opinions on which oil to use, but we just went with plain vegetable oil. We covered the pan with oil after making sure it was clean. We put it in the oven to bake it. We turned it off and let the pan sit in there until it cooled down. Bring the oil past the smoking point until it gets dry and hard on the pan. That's what makes it waterproof. The more you use it, the better the surface you have. There is a Don't wash with soap, it will strip it. We love to use a chainmail scrubber. It seems to help, but that might be in my head. I only use the hot water and scrubber when I clean it. The more I use the pan, the easier it is to clean. Don't leave it wet when you finish cleaning it. It will rust. We put it back on the stove with the burner on. It's easy. It holds heat well, but cast iron doesn't heat evenly. It means that you have to preheat the pan before you cook. There is a I love this pan. Every time I use it, it gets better.
👤I was surprised by how rough the surface finish was on this skillet. It felt like it was made of wood. I was expecting higher quality. I found instructional videos on how to grind the Lodge skillets, but who has time for that? I found two other American producers of cast iron that come with a smooth finish, Stargazer and Finex. The Stargazer is half the price and the Finex is interesting but I went with it. I think I made the right call. The design is great, the surface finish is smooth, and it cooks like a champ. If you're reading this review, please pass on the Lodge. Go with the Stargazer. It's worth the investment.
👤This is my third skillet. I live alone and this is perfect for grilled cheese and eggs. "Wash it" is my biggest tip for lodge preseasoned cast iron. I don't use soap, but I use a scrubber and hot water to thoroughly scrub the whole thing. I put a thin layer of oil over the pan with a paper towel and then bake it in the oven at 450 degrees until it starts to smoke and stink. It kind of smells bad. Once I smell it, I turn the stove off, put the cast iron in the oven, and then take it out. It might take a couple times before it's perfect. I use a scrubber and hot water to dry it on the stove after each use. I rub more oil on it when it looks dry. I have never had to re bake it. My twelve inch has been perfect for a long time. So low maintenance. Great quality.
essential gear for car camping, RV trailers, motor homes, cabins and more The set has a blue finish. The settings for four are light and compact. Blue glazed enamel is double coated. It's ideal for family camping, recreational vehicles or home use. The set contains four plates, four bowls, four mugs, and four flatware sets.
👤We bought this item for our family. The label listed lead as one of the harmful chemicals in the product. I can't believe they allow lead and harmful chemicals in something that is going to touch your food and mouth. It is outrageous.
👤We had these for 5 weeks before we got them. That was our next camping trip. There is a When we got to the campground, my wife told me that 2 of the plates were damaged. I would show you how to put more than one picture on. She read that the product can expose you to chemicals. There is a I contact the seller on Monday and I am so sorry. Your 30 days have expired. I got them on June 7. There is a I went to Amazon and they denied my claim. I will tell em how to appeal their decision, but I can't find it on my phone. I don't have 1 on the PC. There is a I wouldn't recommend these plates to anyone.
👤Be careful, buyer. There is a The product contains lead and chemicals that can cause reproductive harm. When you receive it, it states on the box. The company said it should be fine since it is not going into the body. We were going to eat off of it. Be careful of your return wind. You cannot return after 30 days. I was too late to contact the company, and Amazon told me to savesay was too late to contact the company, and Amazon told me savesay was too late to savesay The company told me it was too late. Don't buy.
👤This contains lead and other chemicals. There is a warning on the box, but no where on the ordering page. People should not use things they eat with at your own risk.
👤I've never camped. I got a couple sets to replace the plastic I used with my kids. The plastic was free from harmful substances. I felt weird putting it in the dishwasher. I don't have to worry about plastic anymore. I don't have to worry about the kids dropping the nice china because I put it in the dishwasher. The bowls are large enough to hold cereals, snacks, and other items. The plates are great for spaghetti. The cups tend to get hot with hot cocoa. You can use them for hot liquids. I didn't buy the silverware because it was cheap and flimsy. We don't use the silverware. I only use it if I send a hot thermos lunch to school, I don't have to worry about lost silverware. I used them at the kids table last thanksgiving and loved the rustic look of them.
👤I have previously purchased it because I am willing to spend more for quality that will last. The four piece set was not enough for us since we often have people camping with us. I bought this set to see how it matches up, but I can't tell the difference in quality. The plates are not as flat as the GSI set. The bowls and cups are not as big. The form factor of the bowls is better for me. The GSI set has more horizontal sidewalls. There is a The silverware isn't the greatest, but it does seem completely worthless. They will probably be brought camping until they stop being functional. The price of the GSI set is 1/3 and it is a great deal.
There is a limited warranty for three years. The cooking power is 7,650 total BTUs. It can fit a 10-inch pan. It lasts up to 1.25 hours on high. The butane gas cylinder is sold separately. The burner has a precise temperature control and the base is stable. The aluminum burner is rust-proof and the grate is easy to clean. A limited warranty for one year.
👤The video review is in action. I like to cook outside in the fall. I try to cook bacon on the back deck. I don't have to clean up the grease in the kitchen. I don't have a grill with a side burner. I've used a propane stove for 15 years. I was researching for a one that I could use at home, at the park, or while camping. I stumbled on a stove. I've seen the price vary from $16 to 35. This stove runs on butane instead of propane. The canisters are small and should last at least an hour. The stove is easy to use and hook up the fuel. I've used a lot of different stove designs over the years and most of them use a threaded design. This can be a problem for older children, older adults and people with dexterity issues who are trying to teach them how to use one. You don't have to thread or twist the canister with this stove. Drop it in the slot and push the lever that locks it into place to pressurize the system. The igniter sparks into the gas when the knob clicks past max. It's easy. You're cooking! There is a There are other things I like about this stove. Check out my video review to see how easy it is to operate. It's a great addition to your gear, whether you use it for camping, boating, back yard BBQ, or as an emergency cooking source when your power goes out.
👤Ignore those who say it's cheap. It's not a cast iron stove. If you beat on it or drop it, it will dent. It is supposed to be light weight. You're going to pay more if you want something heavy duty. This stove is very safe and easy to use. Unless you're out in the wind, the temperature can be controlled. This isn't rocket science when using this stove, flame on, flame off, and adjust to whatever temperature is desired based on the type of pan or food being prepared. Investing in a set of Pans made specifically for outdoor camping stoves will decrease your cooking time and use less gas. Coleman 8.8 oz Butane Fuel works well.
👤The water should be boiled in 5 minutes on high using only a small amount of fuel.
👤A name branded butane stove costs a good price. It works well. There is a When you are done using the stove, you should remove the canister. It allowed a leak in mine.
👤The burner head melted just like a couple other reviewers had mentioned. It doesn't appear to have affected the flame pattern, but without Coleman or others saying "that's normal - I've used this for months and several cans afterwards without issue", I unfortunately have to return this... I like the small size and carrying case. I contacted Coleman but he didn't reply yet. It seems to work well, though it was disappointing for a first-time user to use a standard home gas stove. It took 10 minutes to boil a liter of water at the highest temperature. I think the wind caused the melting on a cool windy evening while camping.

I needed a solution to bring my kitchen utensils with me without having to unpack and pack again, and I didn't want to throw a mess of my own in a plastic bag. This is the perfect solution, it provides most of the basic necessities in a small bag. I added a pizza cutter, measuring spoons, a flat strainer, a real beer opener, and a rubber spatula. I could easily add more with the elastic straps. Everything is in place. I don't know if the long termDurability is possible, but everything is made of STAINLESS STEEL and appears well made. It is easy to keep in my trunk.
👤This is an Amazon Favorite. I paid a little more for this than the one I bought last year. Someone at Amazon needs to use this one. This set is amazing. I couldn't be more enthusiastic in my endorsement. Everything you are likely to need is here. We bought it for camping. I enjoy using these fine cooking and dining implements so much that I often pull them out to use in cooking at home. The set is easy to transport and has a high quality case. I'm usually not as impressed with purchased items. The knives in this set are sharp. This is a very good set. Forget about what Amazon likes. This will become your favorite as it has become mine.
👤I took my first trip this past Memorial Day weekend and was very disappointed. If you are looking for just basic silverware all in one to use, this is not it. Everything was hand washed and dried for 3 days, but by the end of the weekend it was all rust. The girl pokers that we used on the grill were not heat resistant. I am not rough on anything. I was hoping this would last me more than one trip, but I am so disappointed.
👤The thing is light, compact and perfect for organizing kitchen tools for car camping. I wouldn't use this kit for every day use, but everything in it is at least quality. There are no useless gadgets that come in a lot of kits. There is a spatula, scraper, Ford, silverware, a couple sharp knives with sheathes, wine/beer opener, and poultry shears. There is a The case come in different colors, but it is a small issue for a great little kit.
👤I had high hopes for this, but it ended up causing damage. The handle came undone because it was sewn to the case. I was getting ready to package it back up to return it when I realized that the other side of the handle was not the same. I won't replace it with the same one because it was bad.
👤This is a good get and comes with a nice bag. One of the reasons for the two stars is that the fondu forks can go under your fingernails if you reach in the bag. I was thankful for the first aid kit. The rest of the kit was useful and will be used again.
The perfect hostess gift is a chic set that is practical and stunning for any special occasion. A camping stove with coated steel construction is strong enough to hold a heavy pot. Any type of canned fuel or solidified alcohol can be used for heat. The front door and sides are tall. essential gear for camping, backpacking, emergency preparedness, and more
👤Be careful with what you buy. As it burns hot enough to boil water, the only fuel that can be gotten from the Sterno is "Cooking Fuel". "Canned Heat" pot warmers burn at only 185 degrees and will never boil water.
👤I use this for camping in my van or tent. It was tested at home. It only took me 30 seconds to set it up. I put the pot on top of the sterno can and it was very sturdy. No worries about the pot falling off. It's perfect for when I only need one burner and don't want to break out the big Coleman propane stove. I got a heat diffuser for use on top so I can double the usage of this stove as a back up tent heater, and it worked very well for that purpose as well. I used the AdvancedShop heating cover on the Camping Mini Heater Warming Stove cover. Really happy with the setup. It was fast shipping on it. I've provided pictures of a medium saucepan and a heat diffuser.
👤This is what you think it is. I use twigs, pinecones, and Sterno. All worked well in this stove. One thing that is annoying is that the little door can affect the flame inside if it stays shut. You can fix it with a screwdriver or something in front of it. It was easy to clean and works well. Tin foil on the shelf is the best way to hold burning materials. To keep it clean. The stove is a little heavy. If you are car camping, it is still very portable. It might be an issue for backpacking. It does what it says it will do and for a very good price.
👤I bought this for my kit. It is sturdy and can be used many different ways. You could use things other than sterno. I used my stove as a proof of concept. If one needed sticks, they could use them in it. This is the most important part. Coffee. I can't exist without coffee. That is not true. I can exist without coffee, but anyone who has to be around me doesn't want to. I have to have coffee. This is a problem when my house is all electric. I own a Coleman propane stove, a propane single burner unit, and a propane grill. One can burn up a lot of propane in an extended outage, but those stupid little canisters are not cheap. I could use a larger propane tank, but it's inconvenient and the propane is not cheap. Since I don't have a fireplace, I decided to use an alcohol stove. I bought a stove kit after that. I like that thing. There is a problem. Yes. The coffee. I can't just throw a percolator on the kit. I have to either use a backpacking stove, make French Press coffee by boiling water in my JetBoil, or I need something that will support my percolator. This is the kind of thing that engineers think about when the power is out for a long time. The Coghlan's Folding Stove can be entered. I can put my percolator on top of my alcohol burner. It's dah! Coffee. I can use sticks if the mountain blows up or we have the Big One, but only if the mineral spirits, Heet, and any other burnable fuels are gone. During Armageddon, I can have coffee. If I had to, I could cook food with this. It is a fun little stove, so it is great for camping, road trips, and emergency kit. I think I will buy a second one so that I can leave it in my car. Have you ever watched Survivorman? The quality of this stove sold me on it after I read reviews and looked at it in stores. I'm very happy with it. It's a great addition to my kit and is very useful. I am glad I bought it.
The new Ka-Bar Tactical Spork is perfect for camping, hunting and fishing. Highly recommended sturdy plastic material plastic spork is long lasting and effective. One of the best features of camping spork is that it can be separated into two parts. A pretty decent knife is also in the setup. Multitool is safe, food and detergent is safe, it is an advanced compliance tool, and it is also helpful in self-defense. It's dishwasher safe. The folding spork is light weight and made in the USA.
👤A spork would have been a better idea. There is a hole that goes through the spork because of how this thing is constructed. The knife is held in the same hole. You enjoy your soup, your spork enjoys his soup, your knife enjoys his soup, your spork enjoys his soup, you all enjoy last week's soup.
👤The design is cool and the ability to use the knife and spork separately is a plus, but please look at the picture. The spork is smaller than the others. The German military surplus find on the far left is too large to be used as a personal spoon and is part of a personal mess kit. The red is by Humankind, the green is Light My Fire, the orange is Jetboil, and the last is a spoon. I would leave the Ka-bar at home and use one of the others as I always have a knife on me when hiking/camping.
👤I bought this to eat my lunch. Unless I use a dishwasher, I can't clean food out of a little hole near the head. There is a little food stuck near the head if I clean it in a sink. I think the blade is made of plastic.
👤I was camping in the back yard with my boys, getting ready to eat an MRE and make some coffee. The plastic around the MRE was too thick for my hands to open. My boys were looking up to me to feed them, I knew the situation was dire. What should I do? Tell them to look in the fridge. A thousand times no! I wouldn't let my boys go out in the night to find the deck and back door without a flashlight because I was too hungry and emotional to watch their father try to open the chili mac MRE. What could I do? What could a man do? There is a I remembered that my back pack contained my Ka-Bar Tactical Spork. I cried "victory" with a gleam in my eye. I pulled out my utensil of badass-ness and removed the serrated knife from the fork-sheath, and the MRE bag lay at my feet, a defeated and shamed foe, and I knew that on this night, delicious pre-packaged preserved meals filled with enough. My only regret was that I didn't have a horn and mead to celebrate. If there is free shipping, that will be my next purchase. Long live Ka-Bar.
👤Don't buy this for your lunch box. This product is not a good way to eat lunch. The spoon is smaller than a tea spoon and it makes it hard to eat soup with it. The fork doesn't pick up a lot of things. The knife does its job. This is only useful for stirring your coffee. The ponytail is too small. See the picture.
👤The spork is a step child. It's a spoon and fork. Is it possible that it could get any more practical? When I saw a spork with a built in knife, I said yes and it did. I have a couple of other sporks and I thought this would be my go-to from now on. It was in the mail. I was excited to open the box and see a piece of service ware. It bears the name Ka-Bar. They make knives for Marine Corp. I thought I had done my homework. The rating was 4 out of 5. I should have read through them. The spork's business end is so small that one would starve to death if they could get enough food in their mouth. It was an add-on item, so I have no reason to use any cash. I'm not sure if I'll return it. Don't waste your money on it if you haven't figured it out yet. You don't need a spoon to stir the tea with your daughter.
