👤I was very excited about this set, it was a great size and had everything we needed for a camping trip. There is a It doesn't clean well. We used the coleman outdoor stove and it was difficult to clean because I rubbed vegetable oil on the cooking surface and the flame was stuck to it. I let it soak overnight at home with a touch of dish soap and I didn't have to scrub it because it was burnt on food. I'll try to use it again.
👤This is ok. There are a couple quirks with the pans and kettle. The other items are not great. I like compact gear but mostly car camp. It's nice to have light gear if I backpack, I don't have to carry a bunch of full size pans. If you're backpacking and using all the accessories that come with it, it's meant for one person. If you had to make this work for a few people, you would be mad. There is a The set is lightweight and has a mesh case to hold it all. The pans cook food for 2 people and the kettle is good for 2 small cups of coffee. They're quite small and you want to cook them in batches. The bamboo spoon is pretty cool, and it's nice to have a little loofah sponge to clean it out. There is a Most of the stuff that comes with it is ok. The ladel is usable. The fold-up flatware is fine if I am backpacking, but I would bring other utensils. I got some sparks off the flint strikers so it works, but I will probably never use it. Teflon wouldn't survive anyways since camping gear tends to get beat up and scratched, so this isn't non-stick. You will need some kind of oil to cook with. There is a The kettle handle is covered in something. It is not fire safe. You have to watch it carefully on a fire grate or alcohol burner. I wouldn't want to cook with this set on hot coals. The handles seem to hold up well on pans and lifting. I wish they were snapped into place when fully open or closed. One handle swings freely and the other stays where you put it. When the set arrived, it was not packed in so the pan and lid was the only thing covering everything else. The plastic bowls were resting slightly off the pan which allowed dirt to get in while you were hiking. I've not found a way to get the bowls in there so the lid will close, and I've decided they probably don't fit that way, the picture shows the closest I could get it to closing. I tried to find a how-to or instructions but couldn't. I don't like that, every other mess kit I've had closed completely to keep them clean, but this one doesn't seem to close all the way. There is a I will probably keep it because it's ok for how I camp, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

The cookware kit is designed for anyone who loves camping outdoors. It is portable and convenient for camping, hiking, backpacking, picnic and other outdoor activities.
👤There are two pots, one sauce pan, a kettle, 6 cups, 6 saucer sized plates, 6 full sets of silverware. There is a There are pros. I thought the kettle was small and we'd have to refill it at least twice to serve everyone. Not so... I put it in my measuring cups and it held 6 cups of water. The cups have a small head room. I use the same size pot for my family of 6 every day. There is a The plates are small, but you can always use them. The plates and cups are easy to clean.
👤The set is 39 pieces. I don't like folding forks or spoons. The cups have rings on them. It's better to take pots and pans and paper plates from home. The plates are small. Only a 4 piece set is required. If I don't clean them. I have more. Being lightweight seems sturdy. They are firm even after trying to bend. This should last a while. The utensils are small compared to the ones you use at home. They work well. I don't think car camping is good for backpacking. The carrying case is very sturdy. If used on a campfire, rub a bar of soap on the bottom and one inch high on the side for easy clean up. On a camp stove, forget the soap.
👤I would like to give this product four stars. I had to do more research before buying this item. The medals are not in danger. People need to check the medals. Some camping items are not food grade and contain lead. The product is safe and doesn't contain lead. It's not good for viewing wild life while hiking. The cups are in a size of 4 to 6 ounces. Very small. The cups are hard to get out of the kettle. The plates are small. I like the 39 pieces for the price. I have five children. I would buy this again for camping in a camper or car. The space saver item is nice. I hope this helps.
👤This set is very small. It has everything we need for a camping trip. I wish the company had six different colors so that each family member could keep their cups and utensils separate. Their picture clearly shows what you get in the set. We are very happy with our purchase and would buy the same set again.
👤I got this for my family of 5 and the kitchen since it would replace a teapot of the same size. The big pot has a small size. I gave it a 4 star because it fit on its side so not ideal. I can work with that. I should have found it before I built the kitchen. If it holds up, this will be a game-changer in that we have not had a large pot to cook with unless we bring our home kitchen pot. It looks like a good quality camp pot.
👤I was very pleased with the quality of these. They are easy to clean and important for camping. It was shocking how it all came together into a small package. The carrying case was great, and I really am glad I got it.
The innovative design of this kettle maximizes heat distribution for even cooking so everyone can have a steaming hot meal. The hook in 2020 has two parts, the hook chain and the 3-hole fixing plate. The hook is made of steel. The chain length is 46.45 inches, the large hole is 0.78 inches, and the small hole is 0.29 inches. The hook bag is made of synthetic material. The hook and fixed plate can be protected by the synthetic cowhide bag. The flame can be adjusted to the hanging chain's height. It can be used with outdoor cooking appliances. It is an essential tool for outdoor adventure, and it is easy to carry. Fine workmanship, round polished, without sharp edge marks. It's suitable for camping, hiking, adventure, herders, rescue, and extreme survival. You can quickly build a fire pit with just 3 small wooden sticks or bamboo. Please watch the video to learn how to use it.
👤Does it work? Very much so. This is a good tripod pot for camping. I work for a company that deals in metal products like aluminum, carbon steel and other metal products. I cut the aluminum round bar in half and used the holes on the tripod plate to hold it in place. I believe you will like this product, it is made well and can hold up to 20 lbs of weight. If the stands can support the weight, you can use a large Dutch oven on it.
👤The product is good for hanging pots. Don't think it's for heavy stuff.
👤I didn't like the fact that the metal poles weren't included. They should make it clear that they are for sale. I haven't tried it, but the holes are small and the poles need to be larger to hold a cast iron Dutch oven.
👤I own something like this for home. It's large. I put it in my backpack because it can fit in my pocket. I only need a few small branches and a way to hang my pots over the fire. It works well.
👤The product was received on time. Works well. It's versatile for campfire cooking. It is very easy to use. Keep it in my kit.
👤Everything was expected and made to order.
👤This was purchased for someone. It was perfect when we were camping. It was practical and well made. You can take a long hike with your pack.
👤It was a survival gift. Person loved it.
The Easy Slide Latches lock into place. There areDEAL outdoor accessories. The Stanley cook kit is a great gift for anyone who likes to cook outside. The locking handle folds over the lid to save space, and it is designed to provide maximum comfort and stability while it's on the stove. The kettle and coffee maker is made with 18/8stainless steel and features two insulated portable 10oz/ 295mL cups to enjoy hot and cold beverages. The stovetop mess kit with cups loaded weighs 13 9oz and empty it is only 7oz which makes it travel and backpack friendly.
👤The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is a staple in the camping/backpacking world and is overlooked by the ultra lighters out there. There is a I believe that you have two safe choices of metal in camping cookware: titanium orstainless steel. There is a chance that there is a link between Alzheimer's and the use of anodized aluminum. It is inexpensive but heavy. Titanium is light and expensive. There is a The Stanley is great for me, as I don't mind the weight. I put my stove, fuel, cleaning towel, and eating utensil in the plastic cups that come with it, instead of tossing them in the trash. I use a GSI cup with the Stanley. The lid for the Stanley is perfect for the GSI Cup. There is a The attention to detail on the Stanley is amazing, considering pots that are more expensive don't usually have the perks that the Stanley does. The plastic flip-up finger handle stays up perfectly on its own. The lid has drain holes. There are not marked on the inside of the measurement. The marks are stamped so you can still see them from the inside. No big deal. There is a When the handle is locked into its folded position, it acts as a firm/reliable closing. The Stanley is a great product at a great price. I would recommend it to anyone.
👤The little cook pot is a happy find for me. I like that it's not aluminum. The graduations stamped on the side are very useful. I don't keep the two plastic cups in the pot as they take up a lot of room that I choose to use for other things. When the handle is closed, it provides a positive holding mechanism for the lid. The pot is folded into a cup. I put the paper coffee filters between the pot and cup to cut down on rattling. The paper filters can be used as a pre-filter for a water purification kit.
👤You need a way to boil water and cook food if you like hiking and backpacking. The Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is for camping. This is one of the best cook sets out there. It is made of 18/8 steel which won't rust on you and is easy to clean with a scrub pad or sand from a creek or lake shore. There are holes in the lid that allow you to easily drain water if you need to. All for about $13,000. The value is great.
👤I use a fuel canister with this for my cook system. The stove is inside the mugs. I backpack in the Midwest and the West, and haven't found anything I don't like. Stores are easy to clean. I've cooked next to people with systems that cost 10x as much and we'll eat at the same time, and will share the trail again in the morning, and this is definitely not worth 10x less than what they paid! I don't remember weight off hand, but it's an extremely good value for a recreational outdoorsman. It's a good, low-risk kit. I've used it for car camping for oatmeal and coffee. The picture is from open fire cooking. The picture is from a 5-star destination. Take care!

👤It was so small and clean when it arrived. I love it when the trail is clean.
👤I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the reviews, but decided to take the leap. The last time I went camping, I brought cookware that wasn't made for such an activity and lost some beloved pots and pans. I am glad we got these. They were supposed to be used over a Coleman cooking stove, but were prepared poorly. We threw these over the fire and they exceeded our expectations. We were able to make our dinner quickly, and the handles didn't melt over the flames. They cleaned up after cooking. It is perfect for a couple on a camping trip. We can't wait to use them again.
👤It's a great buy for people getting into camping. The pots/pans were perfect size after everything collapsed into them. The cup grips are necessary, very hot without them.
👤My 5 year olds toy kitchen set is a part of this horrible product. She loves them because they look like big ones but they are so small that you can't cook or serve them. The biggest waste of money I have ever spent. I already had pots and pans because they wouldn't serve my teenage sons bacon, fish fins, or even half an egg. It is not suitable for cooking. The cups and sleeves are too small and don't fit. The product should be half off at the store. Straight up.
👤Terrible quality. The cups are kid sized, the sleeves don't fit, and the handle broke on the first use. Don't ask about non-stick properties. This is useful for boiling water, but I don't think I'd trust it for that. There is a This was a huge waste of money. It would have been better to spend more on the higher quality names. I still have to do that. I spent almost 50 bucks on a mesh back and crappy silverware. It was hard to pass on this one.
👤These are too small to cook for 2 people and even though they are Teflon, they are not! Everything sticks. You have to soak them to get rid of the food. I couldn't get them to fit back together.
👤I realized that pieces were smaller than I thought because I have been learning about how much we eat. It should have included the coffee pot. Recommendations for cooking on a propane grill are needed. Or on the fire? Preparing for a year without food stores. Pots are definitely small. Mylar bags are used to heat food.
👤I ran my fingers on the pan after the first wash and it left a chemical smell. The one star reviews should not be ignored. I don't recommend this product and you will regret it.
It can be started quickly, lasts for a long time, and has no strange smell. It's a great weapon for camping, emergency rescue signals, family barbecues, and bonfire parties. If you have it, you will have a pleasant outdoor experience. The cookware set contains non-stick 1.9L pot x 1 (with lid), non-stick 0.86L frying pan, 0.8L tea kettle, 230mlstainless steel cups, 16 cmstainless steel plates, knives, and 2, spoons. The pot is 6.5 inch x 3.5 inch and the pan is 6.6 inch x 1.6 inch. The handles are made of plastic that is heat resistant and non-slip, which makes them safe to use. Friendly reminded not to put the handle in the fire. The camp cookware set is made of high quality Anodized aluminum, which makes it easy to cook food in the trip. It is easy to clean. The pot and pan have folding handles that make them easy to pack. It has room for a stove, matches, seasoning, salt, pepper, a sponge, and many other things to keep your space consumption to a minimum. The bag has a shrink rope that can be hung on the backpack. This cooking set is perfect for camping, backpacking, hiking, fishing, picnic, trekking, emergency preparedness, or as part of a survival kit. Highly recommended for a day trip or weekend trip. You can use it to cook, boil water, or fry eggs.
👤I am very happy with the camping cook set. I did not order a full size set because some reviewers said it was tiny. I wanted a small bag for my emergency kit. I like to camp in lysies and this is great for 1-2 people, especially cooking on a small wood camp stove. The large pot is large enough for two people. The plates are double as bowls. The diver west is large. The set is strong. It is a little heavy for backpacking, but it has all the essentials for a hot meal. I can't wait to use it.
👤If you want to play house in your fort, it's adorable. The plates are the same size as a tea cup. The cups are not as big as a soda can. Get out those rulers. There is a It will be useful. It would serve an adult couple with medium appetites. You can make a decent pot of soup and fry up some meat. There's a lot of metal to metal contact when you pack it up in the pouch, so I'm concerned about the surface's durability. This is perfect for backpackers. Campers in campgrounds should size up a bit.
👤We went on a mini backpacking trip with our dogs as a test run before we head out on a longer trip, and it was a great opportunity to see how this set holds up. This cookware/eating set is highly recommended. It's small, which saves a lot of space compared to other cookware sets, and comes with everything you need - utensils, plates, a cutting board, etc. We decided not to bring the tea kettle because it would have taken up a lot of packing space. The tea kettle is a pretty lightweight set, so it doesn't add much to its weight. I think it's worth the price and the quality is great.
👤This set is not for serious hikers or bushcrafters. The handles are made of plastic and have a wire coating. The lids are useless. The quality of the mfg is poor. I received mine and it was going in the garbage. It's best to pay more for a better set. If you are serious about the outdoors. This is a good beginning set.
👤This set is great if you need all of these items, but you need space and weight to be a concern. I am sure that some of the items feel cheap because they are lightweight. This is the reason I could point out any negatives. My intended use was to be able to cook on my tailgate when I was on day adventures. I should have just bought cheap pans at the dollar store because I don't care about weight or space saving.
👤The pan, pot, and kettle worked well. The other things are extras from the $1 store. There is a The kettle spout was damaged when it was dropped before I received it. I had to wrestle one of the plates out of the pot and the cups inside the kettle made it hard to get the cups out. There is a It's a three part set, with some dollar store extras. Works well, but not heavy duty.

👤If you're cooking for 1 person, 2 would be great. It's not for anything big like I wanted it for. The only disappointing part was that it was so small for the price. Will update after use! I changed it to: The handles come out very well. Storage is easy. They were so small, but still sad.
👤There are a lot of utensils in this package. A full set of kitchen. It has everything from bowls, plates, fork and knives to a cooking pot and a fry pan. I bought this product for camping. I like this product.
👤It's pretty crazy! They use it over and open fire grill at campsites. The handles were going to melt off into goo, but they didn't! We tried to keep the handles away from the hottest parts of the fire, but they melted a little. The handles were just slightly different in shape. The pots were great for camping.
👤The silverware isn't good. It is too small and funky. The pots and pans look good.
👤I haven't used it yet. We got 3 forks and 1 spoon instead of the proper set of 2 utensils. Once used, will update and the company will respond to the issue.
👤Its small and light. There is a storage bag to keep everything together.
👤My husband and son will be camping in the spring. The cups are not hot to touch, they are Silicone fold up type. The cups are not 100% leak proof, but they are good to use at a camping table. Looking forward to the camping trip and getting the rest of the gears.
The package includes a Frying Pan, Saucepan, and Removable Handle. The cookware set is perfect for camping and can be used for cooking all day long. All cookware has a textured handle. Years of reliable use are offered by tough commercial-grade steel construction. Pans and accessories are used for storage.
👤I would have liked to have taken a picture before I returned the set. The Coleman cooking set was purchased for use on the Coleman propane stove. It seems like they should be compatible. No. The coating boiled off the frying pan while I was cooking scrambled eggs, and I now have no food. The pan was not usable because so much of it came off. The bottom was twisted and warped, not at high temperature. This was cooking hashed potatoes. We didn't make it through the first breakfast. We were on a trip for 3 weeks. I had to buy something else from an outdoor supply store after I found a Kohl's that would let me return to Amazonhassle-free. This was the first failure of Coleman items I have purchased for decades. Can't recommend.
👤The set is not safe. I don't recommend anything. During the first MEAL, the coating peeled off into what I was cooking in the skillet, but this was not aggressive cooking. I boiled the water in the small pot, set it out to cool for 20 minutes, and the pot started showing rust spots. It was yikes. I didn't feel comfortable giving my family food cooked in these pots and pans. I was in a rush to get a set before our trip and wish I had taken the time to read all of the terrible reviews first, please learn from our mistakes and buy something else.
👤We were camping the first time I used this set. I heated up some beans on the camp stove. The teflon on the bottom of the pan started to peel off when I tried to cook some scramble eggs with a wooden spatula. Had to throw the whole batches. I wasn't a happy camper. The 30 days was up after I purchased the way ahead of time. If you don't need it before 30 days, try everything out. Hope this helps.
👤Absolutely terrible. They were camping for the first time. The non stick stuck to the food after we cooked it. The bottom was on the pot. The handles don't stay in, can't believe Coleman would have their name on this product, and shocked that Amazon would keep selling these after everyone else is having the same issues. We would like to get a refund. So disappointed.
👤We have used these pans 3 times. Coleman products are typically long- lasting. After just 3 uses, the teflon is going to get stuck in our food and we'll have to throw them out. There is no warranty. I think you get what you pay for.
👤It's hard to clean Burnt instantly and sticks hard to clean.
👤The pots are not damaged. We took these out on a camping trip and they helped get the work done, but they were easily scratched up. I thought they would be more resistant on the inside. We only used the coating for one camping trip. About six meals. The handle is not strong enough and proved to be a hassle. We use the pots to get rid of fleas on my dog. These pots are not going to be eaten. Hate is a strong word. The only reason I didn't rate this a 1 star was because I don't like these pots and they make camping more complicated when trying to cook food.

It's an ideal gift for Camper Lovers. The camping dinnerware is a great gift for anyone who wants a bug out bag. If you're not happy with your experience, please let them know and they'll help you.
👤It worked well and was good quality. Light weight. Handles didn't seem to get to hot even directly on the fire. Buy it. It is what you are looking for.
👤The reviews are good for this. I had a terrible time with this cookware set and the only good thing I can say is that it is lightweight and compact. I can see how important that would be, but everything else about this set is terrible. The breakdown is not non-stick. Everything I cooked was a mess to remove from the pans. I didn't care how much oil I used. The burgers were cooked in the pan. They were ruined because they were stuck to the pan when I tried to flip them. Eggs would stick. Everything sticks to these. If you are camping out in a car, get a good teflon pan or cast iron and don't care about the heft. We spent half an hour scrubbing away at the horrible pans after dinner. I didn't bring a normal pan or two. The cookware does not transfer heat evenly. The paper-thin pans have horrible hot spots that will cause you to burn parts of your dish. The frying pan is too small to cook a lot of food and has steep vertical sides, making it hard to flip things over. Everything you attempt to cook will be welded to the bottom of the pan before it becomes an issue. The flip out handles are very hot in practice and can be a nightmare to use. They flopping about when trying to move the pan around because they don't latch together. It could be dangerous if the handles flop about and you spill a pot full of boiling liquid on yourself. If you need an ultra-compact cookware set, bring a few normal backpacking pots and pans. The plates and bowls are a joke. They are next to a dinner plate. They are flimsy cheap plastic and the plate holds enough food for a child, but not for an adult. The bowls are small and hold a small amount of liquid. The bowls were too small to be useful and we ended up eating out of the pots. This set was very frustrating to use due to the small size of everything and the complete failure of the non-stick surface, and I will be returning it. Unless you are extremely size/weight constrained, do not consider this. If you are camping in a car, just bring some pots and pans and plastic plates and bowls, and you will be fine.
👤We needed to replace our bulky camping cookware. They are wonderful! The handles work well and stay cool. It's large enough to prepare meals for a few people. They are perfect for the Coleman stove. I was skeptical about the little tea kettle, but it was perfect balanced and the pour spout worked well. I like the non-stick coating, but it might be better for the long haul.
👤A great set for camping. I've used the pots on a cook stove and open fire and the handles are easy to lift. The steam hole in each lid lets you know when the water is boiling. There are 2 and 4 cup marks on the cook pots. I would like to see the measurement mark on the bowl. That is an awesome product that I am very happy to own.
It's great for storing gear when you're not cooking. The handle is locked in place with a fitted lid. The total weight is 9.5 oz./270 g, 13 oz./365 g, 15.5 oz./440 g, and 19.5 oz./550 g.
👤The Alpine Stowaway is the perfect camp cook pot to use with the or any of the identical collapsible/portable wood burning stove just like it that can be found these days being sold under a variety different brand names and prices here and elsewhere. The whole thing fits perfectly inside the mesh bag that comes with the stove, because the stove collapses down and fits like a glove inside it. It's like a Matryoshka doll. I have my entire cookset in my pack and it takes up little space. It was perfect! I've included some images so people can see what I'm talking about.
👤The largest pot offered by MSR is the 1.6 L Stowaway Pot. For a backpacking pot, it's large, but by home cooking standards, it's average in diameter and slightly short in height. It's made from high quality steel and has a locking design that makes it easy to keep things out of the way. Since I like bushcraft and cook over an open fire, I chose to use a steel that was rugged. The titanium in this pot causes hot spots and poor heat distribution, and the aluminum warps and loses its non-stick coating over the heat of a campfire. Several people have demonstrated on the internet that you can rig the folding handle so that it can be used as a bail handle to hang the pot over a fire, if you have a short length of wire. My family of five will have a cookset. I'm combining the 1.6 L pot with the Alpine fry pan. GSI Glacier is a kettle. All three are together. It seems like they belong together. The small GSI Kettle fits inside the 1.6 L pot nicely, with a little room around the perimeter for small and flexible items. The metal tabs that hold the bail handle on the GSI Kettle do press against the underside of the pot's lid, but if you bend the tabs downward, the kettle fits inside perfectly. There is a The three pots have been great for campfire cooking. The 1.6 L pot is large enough to cook a full box of Macaroni and Cheese, or a family-size stew, while we brew coffee in the GSI Kettle. The fry pan is convenient for cooking bacon, eggs, fish, burgers, and other delicious items. I don't like frying in a deep pot or on a curved lid with no handle, so we could probably use the stowed away pot as a makeshift fry pan. I'll carry the extra weight to have a proper fry pan. At 2.5 lbs., that's only half a pound. For the entire cookset, per person. If you need a large pot to hold most of the kit, the 1.6L Stowaway pot is an excellent choice. I think most hikers/campers would prefer one of the smaller sizes, because they think the pot is too large. The quality and function are great. Highly recommended! I tried using the lid of the 1.6L pot as a makeshift fry pan for an experiment. It's a large size. Without a handle, it is almost impossible to cook delicate foods over an open fire. You need a good glove/oven mitt to protect your fingers and then either cook on a nice bed of hot-but-not-too-hot coals or over a cook stove with a nice low flame setting; otherwise, get used to obnoxious scorching. It can be made to work. I tried to remove the handle from the pot, but I couldn't do it without attaching the handle to the lid. It worked better because I could easily remove the pan from the fire without the risk of burning my hand. It's not as pleasant as the cooking of the Alpine fry pan. If you don't have a handle on this pot, you're more likely to burn your hand or food than if you do. There was a revision on 7-7-2015. This cookset is still enjoyable. I use the lid as a frypan when I'm backpacking with my family because I can attach the handle to it. Having a self-contained cookset with a lid that locks on is very convenient, and after a lot of cooking over the fire, my pot is not worse for wear than a normal pot. These pots are bombproof and will last a lifetime. Great stuff.

👤I used these on a 30 mile hike from the Approach Trail to Suches on the AT. These worked well. They had graduated marks which made cooking great. I reheated grilled chicken for burritos with taco sauce using the short pot/lid. The meals were simple to prepare. There is a The set is small but large. I was able to store inside a fuel canister, a lighter, 4 hot sauce packs, a camping mug, and a 2oz. salt and pepper shaker. A bottle with oil. The bottle has camp soap. I weighed this next to a person who carries a stone. They were the same in weight as the tenth of an ounce with my stove that does not have anignitor. There is a Those who melt the handles are not using it in a responsible way. Don't let the heat get to them. It is your fault if they are facing a campfire flame. If you turn the flame too high on your camp stove, you will be wasting fuel and heat up the side of the stove. It is your fault. They will last and work great if you use this as intended. This is a budget purchase and weight saving option.
👤I have had these for a few years now and they all fit together. I can fit my canister stove inside to save space. The pots interlock if they are in the mesh sack, which would make this a more versatile set. It would be nice if there were some kind of measurement on the pots. It is not a big deal. The rubber insulation on some of the handles started to melt after a while on the areas close to the pot. There are light weight options out there that can be beat for the price. You will pay more for those. I can say that they are very durable, they have been dropped from a height banged against rocks and no functional issues have arisen.
👤We will keep using it until we have something better. On a camping road trip for two, we used the 2-piece pot set to rehydrate dried meat on the camp stove. It works well for that. Add in veg and other add-ins in a separate pan, thenhydrate and cook in this pot. The larger pot does not fit firmly on the lid, which is more of a 1 cup pot. It's good to keep in heat to keep the camp meal hydrated, because it seals a little better than a lid that just sits on top. Don't expect this to stay closed in a pack, it will not stay on with any kind of knock-over. Measurement lines that start at 12 ounces are helpful, but it would be more helpful if they were oriented inside and marked 8 ounces and 4 ounces for the cup and half-cup measurements used in prepping a single serving of dehydrated meats. The mesh bag keeps it all together, but the opening is a bit tight and requires a bit of fiddling to drop it in as one piece. We bought it separately from the orange case of the ultralight stove because of the advice of other reviewers. The stove inside is about the same diameter as the fuel canister, so you could fit a travel spice shaker and a napkin, but you might not be able to fit a fuel canister. The design makes it easy to clean. If the lid were more secure, or the measurement started smaller, I would give it a star.
