The breakfast bowl is designed to cook oatmeal in the microwave. The plastic bowl is used for serving and microwave cookware. The steam release vent on the lid allows for splatter-free heating. 100% virgin plastic. Top-rack dishwasher-safe, Fridge- and freezer-safe, and Microwave-safe with the vent open. The color received may be different.
👤The Sistema 3.5 Cup Oats to Go Bowl is reviewed. I had reservations about purchasing this bowl after reading several reviews that stated that oatmeal exploded in the microwave. I bought the product because I was desperate for an easy morning breakfast solution and I hoped the reviewers were wrong. After my first attempt at using this bowl, I opened my microwave door to find that the bowl had vomited oatmeal all over my microwave, and the other reviews had been correct. I was determined to find a way to make this bowl work, so I continued reading reviews, and one suggestion was to microwav the oatmeal for 3 minutes. I tried that and it worked. When I reduced the power on the microwave, there was no oatmeal overflow or mess. If you reduce the power and microwave the oatmeal, it will be a great product. If you still have a problem with 60 percent power, then I would suggest reducing the power even more.
👤I don't have a stove, but I love scrambled eggs. This product makes it easy to make scrambled eggs. After 2 and a half minutes, I add Egg Beaters and cook for another 60 to 75 seconds. I usually cook in 1 minute and then give the bowl a swirl. I get a perfect omelet. It's a good idea to spray the bowl with something like Crisco 100% Canola Oil to make it easy to clean it up. Since microwaves are different, it's important to watch your eggs closely the first time. Happy eating and good luck!
👤Does not work. There are spills from the vent opening.
👤My last review of this product was over a year ago, and I gave it a 5-star rating. They addressed the caveat and put out a superior product. The top/rim connection was changed so it was easy to close the lid. The plastic seems heavier. I just ordered another. I've used this for oatmeal, soups, pasta, and a lot of other things. These containers are a wonderful addition to my microwaving skills.
👤The bowl and lid are great, but the description is misleading because another lid doesn't fit tightly enough to prevent leaking. I had a different brand set of bowls in my cart, but I saw this on a comparison. "4 bowls" is in the description, but it is only one bowl. I don't like the way the description is written. I was disappointed that I paid so much for one bowl, and that the lid was so bad that I couldn't use it in the refrigerator. I closed the vent lid and walked a few feet to see that liquid was leaking near two of the latches. A piece of garbage is over priced.
👤So disappointed... I used the bowl for a can of soup one time. I washed it with soapy water and let it soak in it. There is a brown stain in the bottom of the bowl after having soup for less than 10 minutes. Don't buy this bowl, heed my warning.
7-year warranty. There are two different hole sizes for the locking lid. It is designed for right- and left-handed users.
👤I bought two because I love this microwave pot. The microwave pasta cooker will work with this pot. You can put the desired amount of pasta in the pot. The pasta should be covered with cold water. The instructions on the box of pasta are easy to follow, as you just add 3 minutes to the cooking time. I mostly eat De Cecco brand Penne and Gnocchi. I don't know if cooking spaghetti would work, but I think it would work if you ripped the spaghetti in half. After cooking, I put the lid on to drain the residual water. You can cook with the lid on. I don't stop the microwave to stir. It's not necessary when I'm cooking pasta. The pasta is perfect every time, and the taste is the same as using a pot on the stove. There is a I use the pots for soup as well. There is a The pots come out of the microwave. The pots add convenience. I'm very happy I found them.
👤The item in the image was not the item I received.
👤We have 2 smaller pots with handles. We use them all in the microwave. It seems like a long time ago that we bought the first pots. We bought a new 2 quart pot because they are getting a little scratched up. The design is a bit different from our old one, but it still does what it is designed to do. You will find that the Pampered Chef is worth the cost, even though it is a little more expensive.
👤I've been using the white microwave pan with the holes in the lid for a long time. I mean at least 20 years. I was used to hot liquids hitting my hands. The pan was old and stained. I decided to look for something new. I was going to get the same pan but I read the description of the 2 quart kettle and it made me change my mind. The lid is really strong. The handles don't get hot. I don't get burned with steam or hot liquids when I remove it from the microwave. Yesterday I boiled potatoes in it for mashing and they came out perfect; I've also cooked frozen veggies - perfect, and heated soup - perfect. I've used it at least once a day since it was delivered. So... I'm going to buy the 3 quart in September and the 1 quart in October. My son will be getting a set for Christmas. I highly recommend these microwave cookers.
👤I use this to brown hamburger in the microwave for spaghetti, chili, taco's or anything else you might need. The oils can be safely drained off with no worries about draining hot grease from a skillet and dumping the hamburger all over the counter. I bought this for someone I love. I know she will love it.
👤I like this microwave vegetable steamer. It's easy to cook veggies in the microwave with a minimum amount of water, giving you the maximum amount of nutrition. The lid is difficult to put on. I haven't found it easy to align the handles so it feels like the lid is on. I have to turn the handles in the indicated direction to remove the top when the veggies are done, but I must be doing it right. A small amount of water, time and easy clean up. I couldn't ask for a better vegetable prep. Just the right amount of veggies and steamed for two people.
Storage is convenient with glass prep bowls. There are perforated lods. The lid protects the microwave. The plastic and silicone top is free of the harmful chemicals of the B.A. family and can be used to keep food inside for a cleaner microwave. The top of the lid has small holes that allow steam to escape. The lid is dishwasher safe. The collapsible cover can be used to cover tall dishes, piles of food, and shallow bowls. The cover is easy to store. Flat cover can be used to cover large bowls to prevent them from being splattered. The plastic and Silicone are heat resistant. It won't melt in the microwave or dishwasher. The handle on the pop-up lid makes it easy to grab while in the microwave or put on top of dishes. The handle is easy to fit in most hands. Doesn't stick out to maintain a slim profile. When collapsed, the round is 10 inches in diameter. It fits over most plates and bowls. It's dishwasher safe.
👤It works well for covering stuff, but not for a potato. It melted. There was no mention of a duration limit in the description.
👤I haven't had this item in a while but I don't like it. I don't think that will change. The execution leaves something to be desired. It collapses and is great for places with little storage, but getting it to expand is difficult. This may be a fun drinking game, but I don't like it when trying to heat something up. If the handle on the top had a way to get a good grip on it, it might help. That isn't the case here. I don't think the collapsable walls will last long, I haven't had this for a full week and they are already showing wear. I'm not sure if they'll take it since it's been used with food. I will be getting something else that works better. There is a Buy at your own risk. The company gave me a full refund after I went to see about returning the item. I think they didn't want the item back because it's a food related thing. The customer service/return policy is great, even though my review of the product is subpar.
👤It will not fully open because it is collapsible. It is lop-sided. The other side shrinks if I fully open one side. I didn't use the product. It was not good out of the box. I asked for a refund. Don't buy any products from this company. I bought cheap $1 microwave covers from Wal-mart and the Dollar Tree and they worked just fine.
👤I would have liked to read the reviews before buying. It appears to be small for dinner plates, but that's not a big deal for me. Even though I have not used it yet, I think it will not last long based on the reviews. I tried to expand it, but it wouldn't work if I had a third hand. I have not been able to teach my dog how to help with the process because it pops back on one side. It is possible to accomplish the task after many tries, but I wonder what product design engineers learn in school. They don't get lessons in product testing. I like the idea of using it flat to keep bowls from splattering. Since I tend to make lots of soup, I'm sure that it will be useful in reducing the number of times I have to clean the microwave. I can promise that I will not buy another expandable cover in the future since they all seem to have the same design, but I will wait and see how long the device lasts.
👤It is very hard to expand and collapses before being used. It's only 10-inches in diameter so it doesn't fit over a standard dinner plate. The handle is useless for lifting.
👤We lost our first move, but we bought a second one. These are great for keeping your microwave clean. They trap a lot of steam, which makes it very convenient to use it as a cooking lid on our dishes. The old cover was easy to clean and held up well in the heat. The side edge of a kitchen sponge is the best way to clean the handle. I would like it to be larger in both diameter and depth. It would allow me to use it as a lid on our pyrex rectangle leftover dishes if it were larger, since it would keep the water from leaking from the plate. The potato rests on the top of the lid, so an extra 1-2 inches in eight would be perfect. The dimensions are more of a preference for an additional larger item from the seller, as this cover is great and does exactly what it's advertised to do!

If you are not satisfied with the product, they will give you a full refund.
👤My daughter wanted to make soup in the microwave, so I gave her this. This works well for frozen food. The plastic is flimsy. I thought it would be hard plastic. This plastic is less sturdy than some of the Gladware containers. I don't think it's a good idea to wash this on the top rack. It will warp once it is cooled. If you don't use heat dry. I have to hand wash this. Since the top is flimsy when hot, it is difficult to handle in the microwave or when it has hot food. When removing this, use oven mitts to prevent hot spills. It could shift the top and possibly burn you. I could not deduct too many stars for the price.
👤I bought this because it was large. It cooks Ramen noodles to perfection. This cooker is made of sturdy plastic with 2 handles that make it easy to hold and remove from the microwave. I am very happy with the purchase.
👤The handles are too small, so one's fingers are too close to the hot liquid to carry easily. The structural integrity of the container is lessened when microwaved. The container expands when the hot liquid is in it. Carrying the container from the microwave to the table is a safety issue. I wish I hadn't bought 4 of them.
👤I was disappointed that the vent was not good. There was no valve cover. It was too difficult to mail a replacement. There is no quality control check before mailing an item.
👤This works well in the microwave. It's a good size. Don't heat tomato soup. I know that tomatoes leave color in white cookery. I will buy another.
👤I bought this for my daughter's boyfriend and he loves it. It is the perfect size for college. He used it the day after he received it. It was a great gift for a college student living in the dorms.
👤We needed potholders to take a dish out of the microwave and a plate to set the dish in the oven, so we were looking for a true microwavable bowl. I saw this bowl and thought we should try it. It works well. The handles stay cool and you don't need potholders to get the bowl. The bowl is large enough to hold leftovers and it sits on the counter without an extra plate. Highly recommended!
👤The center portion of the 1.5 and 2.0 liter bowls is hard to grasp. I'm thinking about attaching a handle to it. Or return it. The rest of the gadgets seem to work well.
👤Muy buen, me agrada, gracias.
100% virgin plastic. The bowl has a convenient handle and is made of glass. It has an easy pour spout, which means you don't have to use a spoon to get your batter out. Glass does not oxidize, retain smells, or taint food, making it a better choice than plastic bowls. Anchor Glass mixing bowls are dishwasher safe and have been tempered for maximum durability. The glass is made in the US.
👤I really wanted to use this bowl. I got my wife a pouring glass bowl for Christmas earlier this year because she loves these. She opened it and was happy, so we washed it and made breakfast. She didn't complain, but the next time I used it, I noticed some very sharp edges along the handle, where molten glass poured out between the molds during manufacture of the piece. They trimmed them off and filed them down so that they wouldn't cut my hand on it easily, but it is sharp and uncomfortable, and if you use it for a long time, it will make your hand red and tender. I've considered getting my dremel out and sanding it down, but haven't wanted to jeopardize the integrity of the bowl. It's on the line between being annoying and being annoying enough to do something about it.
👤I only use this bowl to ferry microwaved hot water from my kitchen to my shave gear in the bathroom, and the sharp line on the underside of the handle at the top makes for an uncomfortable tote. I'm keeping the Dremel tool because it made quick work of smoothing this area out, but I think there's more to be done. It doesn't pour liquids well. It may be okay with batter, but not water. I don't care how careful I am, water ends up all over the counter. A Goodwill gift is likely in the near future. My Pyrex works well with water.
👤The bowl exploded and shattered while sitting alone. It had not been used in a while. Poor reviews. Pyrex was found to be replaced. There were a lot of reports of Anchor products shattering. It should be removed from the market.
👤I don't know what to say about this batter bowl, it's not the Anchor Hocking quality, I know. I have many pieces from Anchor, but never have I bought something with such poor quality. The bowl is damaged. The seam of the bowl is very sharp. The lip around the top of the bowl is not smooth. My gut tells me that this is not real.
👤I need this to be a 2 cups water to 1 cup sugar ratio to make Hummingbird food. I used an accurate measuring cup to check the measurements. 7 cups of water is close to the 8 cup mark. It's almost impossible to pour liquid out without it spilling down the front of the batter bowl. It wouldn't be so bad if it were just water, but sugar syrup is sticky. I kept it because I needed a large handle, but I wish it didn't have these problems.
👤When my old one broke after 10 years of heavy use, it was not considered a big deal. This is one of the things I use a lot in my kitchen. It's a great size for a lot of things. I use it to cook rice, measure large amounts of liquids for soups, make iced tea, mix batter, make sauces, and store leftovers. It's sturdy, marked with numbers that won't wear off, and won't stain or react with food. When my first one broke, I was so relieved to find it still existed, because it was the best $2 I had ever spent at a yardsale.
Made in the USA. Stackable glass mixing bowls will save space in the kitchen. The large bowl has a handle that makes it easy to move the entire set of bowls. Glass bowls are oven safe. The 100% hermetic silicone o-ring seal of their glass bowls prevents unpleasant odors. The bowls are perfect for food storage. Ultra-durable. Their glass bowls are made from a stronger type of glass. The glass mixing bowls can be used for baking or storage. Their glass bowls are dishwasher safe. There is a new cleaning mechanics. The bowl set is easy to open and close. You can identify what is inside. The glass container set is good for hot and cold foods. It's safe. A glass bowl set with lids is a great upgrade for your pantry. Order their bowls with confidence.
👤The snap on locking piece of the glass bowls has broken twice. I was able to return it for a new set because it was within the return window. The piece broke again and it was beyond the return window, so now I have a lid that doesn't snap on and seal correctly. I don't recommend buying anything with hard plastic snap on pieces. They aren't durable.
👤The bowls are too small for me to think of them as mixing bowls. I might have kept them for the purpose of storage, but they are not leak proof, so I would want to travel with them for get togethers. I returned it because it didn't work at mixing bowls or keeping food fresh. The big bowl had a handle on it, but not all the containers.
👤The bowls were broken when they arrived. One of the middle bowls was shattered as they were nested with packing material. I didn't realize it until it tried to pick up the bowl and cut my finger. The bowls were heavy and thick, but I was concerned about their sturdiness. I assumed that the package must have been licked or dropped to shatter the inside bowl. I asked for a replacement set because I really need the glass mixing bowls and these seemed to be what I wanted. The replacement set was delivered within 3 days of the first set and so far I am happy with them. Even though they are rated microwave and dishwasher safe, I will be careful with them until I get over my initial concern.
👤Amazon did not put bubble wrap in the box to protect these. The tops of the glass were broken. The set was very heavy but had to return due to not being worth anything. Hopefully they pack the correct...ordered from Walmart. The set is very heavy.
👤The bowls are a great product and I was excited about them, but they were damaged when I received them. The largest one had a chip on the bottom. They were in their own box with plenty of secure packaging material and it had to have happened during the packing process. A quality control issue slipped through the cracks. Outside of the damage to the largest bowl, the lids fit securely and the seals seem to do their job. If that changes, I will update.
👤These bowls are terrible. The bowls are difficult to seal due to the warp and warped lids. The design of the lids makes it difficult to store. They have sharp edges and will cut your hands as you wrestle to apply them to the bowls. The overhang of the lid closing mechanism takes up more space in the refrigerator than a conventional bowl. I regret purchasing this product. I threw them away.
👤These bowls are wonderful. They were bought to be used for Thanksgiving. The food is kept fresh by the lids. The bowls will fit inside each other so they don't take up a lot of space in the cabinets. It is easy to clean. I have had a chance to use them on a regular basis since the purchase, so I gave them 4 stars. I highly recommend.
The dishwasher safe feature of the Bovado glass bowl makes it easy to clean. There is no reactivity with ingredients. Made in the USA.
👤There are a lot of tiny bubbles in this bowl, but it's still good for mixing bake batter/doughs. It was easy to remove my bread dough from the sides of the bowl. The shape of it isn't as tall and rounded as most bowls, so your more rigid silicone spatulas work better. I never bother buying glass mixing bowls before. I already ordered the 6 piece set from Amazon that isn't even coming back in stock for 1-2 months, but I liked this 1.5qt a lot. The current price of $29 for the 6 piece set makes the wait well worth it. It is oven proof so you can mix your doughs and bake without the need for a pan or dish. I used a Silicone hot plate square thingie to keep the bowl in place on the counter, but it was a bit heavy for my hand, so I held the bowl with my fingers, even though it was a bit heavy for my hand.
👤The photo makes it look bigger than it is.
👤A bowl that can be used many different ways! I like it for salad because I have enough room to stir. One of the most used bowls in the kitchen.
👤I ordered a second bowl because I loved it so much. I wanted another bowl after I found the one I had previously bought was so useful. I have huge bowls that don't get used very often, and these bowls will never get to retire unless they brake, because you size down when you retire. The products from Anchor Hocking are strong. I love that. I have sets of their glassware for beer, but we use them for everyday use, they're heavy and affordable, and they're so handy.
👤It shows you that a product made in the US is a much better quality product with no flaws or other problems.
👤It is beautiful. Strong glass bowls. They are used to eat soup, cereal, and sancocho. They are the right size. A thick glass.
👤There were some shape flaws along and inside the top edge, but they don't seem to affect it. It looks like a solid glass bowl, good for cooking in the microwave.
👤I have been wanting pyrex mixing bowls for a long time. I decided to buy the anchor hocking ones in 3 different sizes and can honestly say that they are far better quality than the standard pyrex ones and I like the bottoms of them. I was happy to find these more money. It is well worth it. The sizes I bought were 1.5, 2.5, and 4lt. Thanks to Amazon.
👤Not too deep or wide is ideal for whisking cream or batter.
👤I've been looking for a 1.5 liter mixing bowl for a year. I found this one through Amazon. It's a very useful size as a 2 liter bowl is too big and a 1 liter bowl is not big enough. Isn't it like the 3 bears? It's true! These bowls are made of solid glass. I have used them a lot because they are difficult to find. Very pleased with them. It was delivered in good condition and on time.

👤I was recently deployed with the Navy at sea. I filled the office with snacks and noodles so I could work through lunch if I wanted to. We had been heating our noodles in the microwave using clear Rubbermaid containers. The noodles were still good, but you had to microwave them for at least 8 minutes to get the weird taste. It wasn't until I was re stocking on noodles and other snacks that Amazon recommended me this little bowl that claimed it cooked noodles in the microwave in 3 minutes and they would come out just like they would if they were made on a stove. It was cheap. I decided to try it. Oh man! This is how to eat noodles. I gave a few of my co-workers the two bowls I bought after they started liking them. DEFINITELY. A great purchase. The directions were followed and the results were perfect. I will recommend this to new sailors when they ask what they should bring.
👤This thing is legit. If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you would be poor, eat a lot of ramen noodles, and just plain lazy to boil a pot of water. If you are A, B, or C, then this thing is for you. It makes them feel like they are in a pot.
👤I love these bowls. My 14 year old son uses them all the time and they are the perfect size for ramen. I'm not worried that he's going to break in the microwave because they don't burn his hands. I had to buy two more for him because he killed the first one I bought for him. He forgot to add water and the microwave almost caught fire. That could have happened in any bowl. If we didn't run the dishwasher for a couple of days, we wouldn't have enough to have a couple on hand. My older son laughed at me when I bought the gimmick and told me it was ridiculous to pay that much for a bowl. He's wrong that my bowl of food wouldn't stay cool after 3 minutes in the microwave, it comes with a built in line for my son to add just the right amount of water. Happy mom, no mess, no fuss. Unless the ding dong forgets to add the water and then you have to air the house out for a while, that's ok. I smell burnt ramen occasionally.
👤Um... This thing is amazing. It's a hard, red plastic that cooks ramen. I don't have to wait for boiling water. I've never been able to cook ramen in the microwave. There is a I just rinse and wipe it clean. I don't know if it's safe for you or not, but it saves time. There is a The only thing I dislike about this is that the packaging says "Reduces sodium up to 50%". It said to use half the packet to reduce the amount of salt in the air. That's right. They would make a claim on the front that "healthy cooking reduces salt". It is misleading and leads a consumer to believe that the product reduces salt. I can't believe they were able to get away with it. I feel like this company is dishonest. There is a The product is amazing because it works, the noodles taste great, and it saves me the time it takes to boil water.
It's deep enough for cereals, salad, fruit, rice and noodle. It's great for parties, picnic, camping, and everyday meals. A good choice for promotional gifts. The steamer is designed to cook vegetables, fish, and poultry. The steam release vent on the lid allows for splatter-free heating. The tabs are easy to open. The middle stalks of the steamer basket stay cool so you can lift food out after cooking. 100% virgin plastic.
👤I decided to try microwaving it instead of buying a new cooker or burning rice on the stove because our Asian-style rice cooker stopped working. There is a The steaming basket in the rice steamer from Sistema would come in handy someday. The shape of the container and amount of holes for steaming are the only differences I can see. How to cook rice in a steamer. Pour the amount of rice you want. You have to rinse and drain. If you want to measure jasmine rice 4, you can use the tip of the index finger to measure from the top of the rice, but my mom taught me not to. 30 min for fluffier rice 5 is optional. If you see bubbling from the steam, you can microwave for 5 min on high, then switch to 50% power until you see bubbling, then 30% until the cooking time is over. When you tilt the container, the rice doesn't slide and it's done steaming. 6. Leave to rest for 5 minutes, then serve with fork. If rice is still a bit under cooked, add a cup of water and microwave for another 2 minutes. There is a This works well for me, but can get messy from the bubbling steam, which makes something like rice paper on top of the container. I like the Sistema containers with the steamer hole the most. I was very satisfied with the purchase.
👤This is my first steamer. Once you get the lid on, the product does its job. I like the large size. There is a It only takes a small amount of water for a full load. It cooks quickly. 3-4 minutes is good for all vegetables. At 4 minutes, you can even have full mini potatoes. There is a The lid does not fit right. I have to twist and wiggle to get it to seal. I have purchased a few of their products to try out and unfortunately will probably not add more of their products to my kitchen due to leaking and improper lids. I wanted to like the brand and concepts.
👤The handles on the lid are small and not very functional with carrying hot liquids. The base is unsafe because the handles are attached to the lid. The safety locks on the side are hard to lock and if you don't care, the lid will pop off. If the lid isn't locked correctly, the steam will leak out of the edges and burn you. It has happened to me many times. I would buy it again because it works well for the price and I would just carry it by the bottom.
👤I haven't used this thing to steam anything yet. I bought it as I was about to start my fitness kick. There is a This is a great storage bowl. You have to remove the steamer thingy from the inside to keep leftovers like a boss. It isn't suppose to hold leftovers and there are better ways to hold bowls, but hiding pizza in this thing helps soothe buyers remorse. Okay?
The fridge and freezer-safe is designed and made in New Zealand. Natural organic wheat straw is made of eco-friendly wheat material. Your new home will have very healthy and beautiful tableware. These bowls are lightweight and unbreakable. Light to hold and different colors of bowls make life more pleasant. Even if you fall down, it's unbreakable. Kids and adults can be hurt. It's great for parties, picnic, camping, and everyday meals. A good choice for promotional gifts. 30 days of 100% money back warranty is what you are getting. If you are not completely satisfied with the Homestockplus bowls, you can contact customer service for a full refund or replacement. Buy with confidence.
👤Very disappointed. On 12/15/2020, it was washed and used for minestrone soup. The bowl is stained and won't clean itself.
👤My husband's sauce is now stained for life. I've been loving these large bowls.
👤These bowls are great for things like soup, and can be microwaved to make oatmeal. It is difficult to get the stain out of reheated foods like chili or spaghetti. They will be stained by making single serve gelatin in them. I have tried everything to get it out. Two of the bowls are permanently used for red foods. I'm leaving this review because I wouldn't have purchased these if I'd known. If you're looking for bowls that can be washed in the top and bottom of the dishwasher, they're great for that. They were a disappointment for me because I bought them to heat food in.
👤I love these! They look like ceramic. My kid cannot break them when he washes dishes. They are larger than cereals. They're more for soups. I would get them again.
👤The descriptions are accurate. I tried putting them in the microwave and dishwasher and they worked out fine. They feel and weigh like plastic bowls, and when you put them down on the marble counter they don't sound too crisp, which I think is really nice. If you have a big dishwasher, you might be able to put it on the lower rack where the temp is higher. I tried. It's really nice and versatile bowls.
👤It's hard to come up with a description for a bowl. Bowls do not cure cancer or lay golden eggs. This one does not do extraordinary things. It holds more than most bowls. It doesn't leak. It does not melt in the microwave. It gets clean in the dishwasher, on the bottom shelf or top shelf. It does not melt in the microwave. It has not been stained so far. There is a Everyone could ask for a bowl. It's all I ask of this one.
👤I was a bit skeptical about the bowls, but they are quite excellent. It's fine for the microwave and dish washer.
👤I sent them back. I put spaghetti sauce in the microwave. The sauce wouldn't come out because it was stained in to the plastic. I've tried lemon juice and banking soda paste, but no luck. I would mark these as cold only.

👤These bowls are expensive. They are quite expensive, but I really liked the vibrant colors. Even as expensive as they are, do not expect them to last. You can expect this from these bowls over time. There is a white substance coming out of the silicone. It will come back, wash it off all you want. It's not something anyone wants in their food. I was very disappointed that these lasted so little time. I don't think anyone should spend money on this product.
👤I got these for a friend who loves oatmeal and has tremors. He can now cook oatmeal in the microwave without using pots or oven mitts because the bowls are cool enough to handle without gloves. We've tried ceramic, plastic, and glass bowls, and when he's not worried about burning himself, he's worried about dropping the bowl and breaking it. He has not burned himself or dropped anything. He uses these bowls to heat up his food. They have made his independence possible.
👤These look great, have fun colors, you can freeze them, bake with them, and they are pretty much unbreakable. It's dishwasher safe too. The texture inside and outside is slick. It can take very extreme temperatures to use for hot soup, cereals, ice cream, and microwave leftovers. The miracle... They hold just about 2 1/2 cups of liquid, but they have a rubbery odor or off gassing even after several runs through the dishwasher, hand scrubbing and even cleaned with a 2:1 bleach mixture. It's not as strong as their glasses, but still noticable. Not a deal-breaker for me. There is a I really enjoy using these and the kids love them. The product is very cool.
👤I use them for everything but I wish they were more neutral colors. I had to choose those colors because I couldn't find any other Silicone bowls for adults.
👤I scrounged through my backpack and found a can of Pork n' Beans that I could eat. I decided that I needed something more than the random coffee mug I found in the gatehouse, and that I needed to heat my food. I bought these from a general store in the mountains of NC and was a fan of the brand's Silicone drinking cups. I'm very impressed with these bowls. They were able to handle the heat of a 1000 watt microwave with ease and the silicone made it easy to wash dishes that were messy. I'm going to buy another set. I have enough bowls for camping.
👤Egg puffs are something we like. It's just scrambled eggs. It would stick to cookware made of glass or china. Silicone bowls were recommended by my friend. These are larger than I wanted, but they work. I'm happy that they work well. Egg puffs are being cooked more often.
👤The bowls are great. I made oatmeal on the road. You can either carry on with no worry or put them in a duffle. I have oatmeal before every race I run, because I run several races a year away from home. If I am staying in a hotel with a microwave or camping out, I can have my oatmeal in style because they have no corners. Of course, with the fruit.
