The ability to seal wet foods without worry, a high power vacuum, built-in bag storage and cutter, and an accessory port for seals containers are all expected. One hand punching. It was designed to be fully functional while using one hand. A single hand can easily be used to do all of the above. Marinade is friendly. You can seal even the juiciest of foods without fear if you switch modes to wet function. There is a secret story. It's possible to see a full roll of bags and a simple bag cutter when you open your vac sealer. The bottom of the unit has cord storage hidden. An accessory port and hose open the door to seal specialized canning jar lids, a wide variety of vacuum ready containers, resealing wine bottles, and more! The Customer Promise was designed in San Francisco, CA. Anova has thousands of sous vide recipes for free in the Anova App, created for cooks of every skill level by award-winning chefs and home cooks alike. Over 60 million units have been sold to date and half a million #Anovafoodnerds have been sold worldwide.
👤The item was originally reviewed after issues with chicken. I realized that I let liquid get in between the seals. The wet food seal function is not magic and requires a little extra care to make sure you don't get liquid in between the seal elements. You won't get a perfect seal if you don't. There is a I think this product works as expected after learning more. I will update my review as I learn more.
👤I upgraded to the better model of the less expensive Anova because it worked well. Every seal I have made has leaked. I would give it less than one star. I have a junk one.
👤I've had an Anova sous vide for a while. I use it 3-4 times a month and think it's great. I've been using Ziplock freezer bags to cook with the water displacement method. For long cooking times and higher temperatures, you really need to use 3-4 mil vacuum bags. There is a So. I decided to buy a machine for food storage and cooking. The ANOVA PRO was a good choice. I like the design and the ease of use. It works well for dry foods. The pulse button is great for delicate foods. The setting for anything wet is where it falls a bit short. It makes a big mess inside the machine because it sucks the liquid up into the mechanism which prevents the air from being removed. I'm not sure if this is an inherent flaw in the design of all similar home units, but now I understand why larger, more expensive commercial vacuums use a different, vacuum chamber design. There is a If you call ANOVA customer support, you'll get an audix with instructions to leave a message for a call back or email reply.
👤I ruined a piece of prime beef when one of the bags failed, but I was okay using the bags. I thought I should buy a vacuum sealer because I use the sous vide often. I chose this model due to the onboard bag storage and sealing/cutting function, as well as some of the other additional options, over the lower cost model. There is a The vacuum machine looks nice. It's a little bigger than expected, but it's easy to hide in the pantry when not in use, and won't take up much real estate in there. One less thing I have to look for when I need to use this is the on-board cord storage, which is nice. There is a The machine isn't all that intuitive for first time users. I assumed that the same thing would happen when I used a vacuum sealer for the first time. I was wrong. The included directions look like they were written by a dropout from the Ikea instruction manual writing school, with no words, overly simplified pictures, and no explanation. It's really disappointing to turn to the manual for help and get confused and frustrated. There are no readily available videos on the internet. I figured out how to use this machine after a few trials and errors, and a lot of vacuum bags. There is a My steaks all turned out well because the vacuum seal works well, the bag stays sealed shut, and the steaks were all cooked well. I have complete confidence that the vacuum sealed bags won't leak, and it's much easier to use this than the ziploc bags. I've used this a dozen times and haven't had a bag failure yet. Being able to modify the size of the bag is great. It's been great since I figured out how to use it. The first impression was poor. There is a The quality of the bags is nice, the seal works, and the convenience and reliability of the machine has been great. I wish the initial attempt was more user friendly. There is a The ability to control the amount of vacuum has been helpful to me. I've been using this for a long time to store coffee beans, meats, and other food items that would benefit from airless storage. I've used the Anova brand rolls of bags to keep everything in the family after I completed the included roll. The bags are pretty good but have quirks. Happy cooking!
Quick and easy recipes are included. If you want to grill at lower heat, use a temperature dial or sear at 450 degrees. This indoor grill with hood has a high heat that locks in juices and flavors, and the lid closes to give you signature grill marks. The grilling surface is 118 square-inch. Keep an eye on your food, because this indoor grill with hood has a window in lid that lets you watch food cook inside. The grill hood, plate, and extra-large tray are dishwasher safe and easy to clean. It's dishwasher safe because the extra-large tray catches juices so they don't spill on the counter. While using your electric grill, power and preheat lights. Chicken, fish, pizza, vegetables, fruit, and more can be cooked. It's also great for the Paleo and Keto diet.
👤I can't find anything wrong with this grill. It is the perfect size and clean up is easy. 52 weeks a year, I grill out at least 4-5 times a week. I am in the process of rebuilding a deck, my grill was on its last legs, and the weather has delayed construction. I have been without a place to cook. I bought this grill based on its positive reviews and I could not be happier, but the difference is so inconsequential that it is not worth mentioning. My wife can't tell where I cooked it. This grill works. I don't think I'll be firing up my outdoor grill unless I'm cooking for a lot of people. I rinse the grill bed and eat and rinse and replace it with soapy water after I finish cooking. September 2020 I have had a grill for a little over two years. It is still up and running. It is easy to clean the grill surface and hood. I use this grill at least twice a week and it has to be one of my best purchases.
👤I bought the same grill off Target website and wanted to review it here. There is a My biggest concern was if it would set off our smoke alarm, but it doesn't. I have used it many times and it sits on my counter. I leave the oven overhead fan on low and there is no smoke in the room. I don't know if it would leave your home without the smokey lid on. I can fit 3-4 steaks or chicken breasts on this grill. The pain from the drips catches everything. Grease cannot fall elsewhere. I can throw the broken parts into the dishwasher because it breaks down for easy clean up. I'm not sure what size dishwasher they show the parts here in but the lid doesn't fit into my dishwasher. The other parts are easy to fit. There is a The temperature can be set from 200 to 400. There is a I made a mistake and here's a warning for you - preheat before putting food on there. I forgot to preheat and set all the food on, so I thought about taking everything off. I decided to let it go through preheat with the food. The food on the grill was pretty fast. I'm not sure why I only had it on 350, but don't make a mistake. It turned out okay. Just a heads up. Allow it to preheat as instructed. The preheat takes less than a minute. It gets hot fast. I give this grill 5 stars because I don't find any flaws. I debated 4 or 5 stars for this simple reason. The cord is very short. This is not an issue for me because I have a plug in that's easy to access in the spot I need it, but for those of you who don't, it's a flaw. The cord is 25 inches long. There is a If you have a question that I did not answer, please leave a comment or email me, I will be glad to answer it. Thank you so much!
Base stores in most 18-inch kitchen cabinets. The cooking area is 231 square inch. You can make more than one patty without the need for multiple pots/pans. It's great for kids or on the go. 👤I want to do the "1 banana + egg" pancakes. The side of the pancake that is touching the metal is brown. I have to cook the pancake for 2 minutes. After flipping it over, let the cook who was previously the top cook do it for another minute. It's not as good for a pancake as it is for a sandwich, but it's better for anything else, which is my main reason for buying it.
👤I took the Dash griddle out of the box and used it for the first time tonight, but it was not cleaned. I am disgusted by this.
👤I made an omelette with very well-whipped eggs and used an immersion blender to make it cloud-like. When I closed the griddle, the air in the eggs expanded and started steaming out. Time to open it? I unplugged it because there was enough pressure on it. The steam pressure on the griddle blew some egg across my kitchen and it popped off the clamp as well. Even though it's not broken, I'm not attaching it because it seems like a flaw rather than a feature. I scanned the manual for a warning about my problem. There is a The plates don't fold down flat for dual cooking surfaces, and unless you pay close attention to the pics, you won't know that. If you're cooking something thinner, don't expect both surfaces to make good contact because each surface has an edge that's half an inch high. The plates are not replaceable for cleaning, which is a minor quibble. It makes cleaning seem more complex and less thorough. There is a The pros say that this griddle is unique in size and seems to heat quickly and evenly. If I could find a similar product that addresses its flaws, even at a slightly higher price point. I would swap it for something else. It's disappointing that this isn't a big version of the mini griddle, which was well-designed but too small for my omelette and quesadilla purposes, and I was expecting it to be a big version. I will continue to use the product, even without the clamp, because I have a spatula to flip things if necessary.
👤I was the proud owner of a dash mini. It was a blessing in disguise because I love it, but as the fam grows so must my pancakes. I read carefully to get this one which makes huge pancakes, its primary use, fried eggs, omelets and quesadillas, and I have used it for this week. It works great for everything, the only thing is temperature control, which is a little high on one side. As I use it more, I will get used to it. I like it and recommend it.
👤A perfect grilled cheese sandwich was made. It was quicker and more effective to melt all the cheese. It will be a great addition to a travel trailer.
👤The size is either positive or negative. It's small and perfect for our camping trailer, but you can't cook too much at once because it's small. It is the perfect size for my husband when he is hunting. I like the message the company is promoting.
What is included? The Ninja Foodi Grill has a grill grate. The Crisper Basket is 6 inches in diameter. A cooking pot, a cookbook and a cleaning brush. The breakfast maker is dishwasher safe and easy to clean up. Quick and easy recipes are included.
👤It works as advertised. I didn't like how the egg was cooked. I just put the egg on the bun. I opened the top of the machine and added the top bun after I let the egg cook for a while. There is a The machine made a mess of the cheese. I added my cheese. The machine was done cooking the sandwich. The sandwich was perfect for me. Everything else worked as advertised. I needed to change the way I work in order to fit my needs. My preferences are completely different from yours. They could be the same. There is a Hope my review helped. They stated in the manual that they had four stars.
👤Egg sandwiches are easy to cook. After reading reviews of people who gave it a low rating, I think it is user error. The handles say 'hot'. Once the cooking is done, use an oven to open the handle. The egg isn't cooking the whole way through. Don't overload the yolk with things. That's your problem. Wait for it to cool down before cleaning. The egg should be gone by now. For the people who complained about the order of the meat and cheese not being like a Mcdonald's Egg McMuffin...flip your bread order. It's simple. Attached photo... Woah. Reviewers are so dumb these days. Use your brain.
👤I have made a breakfast sandwich every day since receiving this, and I love it! My kids have been opting for a healthy breakfast sandwich over their usual choice of sugar-laden cereals so that is a huge plus. It's much better to have pre-made frozen ones than it is to have them in the microwave. You can control the ingredients like a whole grain English muffin, turkey sausage or ham, egg whites, or a low fat cheese. It takes 5 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich from start to finish and the clean up is easy, usually an easy wipe down. No lie, easy. There is a After thinking about what to do with a lot of mashed potatoes, I decided to use some of them in a breakfast sandwich maker. I can say that they turned out beautifully and were much better uniformed than those made on the stove. This appliance can be used in a variety of ways in the kitchen. I have been very pleased with its performance.
👤We spent a morning experimenting. Here's what we found. English muffins are the best bread to use. If the machine was already used, the crossiants will still be very hot. Allow 5 minutes of cooling time before making another batches. One of the batches used scrambled eggs. Allow the eggs to cook for 2 minutes. The egg was allowed to cook for 3 minutes before adding tops. The cooking time was 4 minutes. The bread was sliced in half. Allowed eggs to cook first then add tops. Perfectly hot sandwiches. Sausages and ham were used. We put the sausages in the microwave to thaw them. They were links that were cut in half to make 4 halves. The ham was folded in half. The cheese was sliced and used. The corners of the cheese stick out a tiny bit, but stay on the machine and there is no leaking on to the counter. We matched all the breads, meats, and cheeses. The kids helped out with the experiment and only a few failed with cooking times. English muffins are the easiest bread to bake. Don't allow egg to cook before adding the tops; just throw it all in. The crossiants had scrambled egg, ham, and Swiss. It was delicious! The sourdough slices are very nice. Also did a sliced sourdough, thin slice of mozzarella, thin slice of tomato, and some basil, but left the egg dividers open. It was a nice snack. It would be better with bacon. It's a word. It is easy to clean up. Put the cups in a bowl of hot soapy water and rinse them. I used a warm wash cloth to wipe away the crumbs and melted cheese from the machine, it came right off.

It can slice almost everything, not only meat, but also cheese, bread, deli, vegetables and fruits, making your cooking more labor-saving and professional like a chef. It's advisable to adjust gauged sensitivity. The meat cutter machine has a thickness control knob that can adjust to 0-18mm. It makes it easy to achieve the precision you want. The design is comparable and foldable. DOBBOR deli slicer is small enough for most cabinets and countertops. The size is half smaller after folding, which is perfect for weekday lunch prep or crafting gourmet meals. Sanitation is easy to clean with seamless andremovable designs. The blade, food pusher, thumb protectors, and food carriage are all replaceable. After every use, you can wash the slicer. The cheese slicer stays in place on your table or countertop with the 6 non-slip feet. The machine has a child lock and a switch that aim to prevent accidental touch to the blade. Their product is worry-free.
👤It is easy to assemble, easy to store and easy to clean. There is a This is very stable and weighs just over 7 lbs. I put a damp teatowel under it to keep it from sliding. There is a This has a locking fold catch so it won't fold over when you use it. The handle that moves the blade away from the guard is easy to use. This sliced through a pound of cheese. If you want to cut a few pounds of meat for jerky, or slice a bunch of potatoes for a casserole, this machine will do the job. There is a We put through a couple of pounds of prociutto.
👤A person slicing a stick of summer sausage on a piece of metal that was unstable and hard to clean. The slicer side and pick up are flimsy. It takes at least 3 hands to hold steady plastic treys. This is dangerous to do. A good design, but cheaply made.
👤The first time it was used, it was difficult to figure out what went where. It worked like a charm once we got that straightened out. Thin slices of venison are used to make a jerky marinade. Cleanup was easy because of the clean cuts. The product was good for the price. If you need a meat slicer for large production use, but not for small use, this is the product for you.
👤It's not as described, it's hard to use, and it doesn't work very well at all.
👤My husband enjoys making bread. He needed a slicer. He slices his cheese to the thickness he likes.
👤The meat slice is easy to clean. I bought a slicer for my meat. It can cut the beef very thin. It was nice for my shabu. I would recommend you to me.
👤It works well for small space. It was bought for slice lamb leg. I eat at least two times a week. This machine is saving me a lot of money.
👤The negative is that it doesn't slice meat consistently. When we first started to slice the meat it worked well, but as we continued to shred it didn't come out in slices. The gripping tool doesn't hold the meat securely. There is a screeching sound as you slice the meat on the tray. There is a The shield did protect your hand.

👤The product was rushed to market. The Ultra takes longer to heat up. The manual refers to modes that aren't documented. There is no description of how it works, how to use it, or what it does in the manual. The customer service for Instant Pot told me to use the Pressure Cook mode. The recipe book that is bundled only has recipes for the other Instant Pots, not a single recipe for the Max. Multigrain is one of the missing settings of the Ultra. It isn't programmed with multiple steps for cooking like the Ultra. I don't understand... When a product is more expensive and has fewer features, it doesn't work as well as it could. The Sous Vide function maintains the temperature of the water more than you set it to, so it doesn't work right. That is not okay for cooking. I am sending mine back and using the Ultra.
👤1. The main reason I love Instant Pot and pressure/slow cooking methods is that they allow me to "set and forget" 80% of the cooking process. The remaining 20% is used for post-process preparations. Most recipes use either quick pressure release or natural pressure release at the end. If pressure is released naturally, rice may become soft and disguising, which can be a big deal. There is a I cook white rice for 4 minutes and 5 minutes. I have to be at the pressure cooker at the right time, 5 minutes after the pressure cooking is done, to release it manually. The Instant Pot has not produced a single model with a programmed NPR. Imagine how easy it would be if I set it at 4 minutes cooking and 5 minutes NPR. There is a I was hoping that the model would have a programmed NPR. It does not. 2. It is nice to have a touch screen and it looks very impressive. It's not my selling point. I am comfortable with traditional buttons. The Pot is a tool, not a subject of love. The remote valve release can be useful for people who are scared of steam release. This is not on my "worries list". There is a The technology sounds weird. C'mon! It's a pressure cooker. The food will be cooked no matter what. It's not a big deal that 15psi of pressure is not used regularly. My food cooks quickly. It can be programmed, which is more important. I wouldn't baby sit the pot at all times. That is a nice feature. I cook PRESSURE cooking 85% of the time. I cook 5% of the time for things like stew, beans, and meats. How often will I use this fancy thing? I probably cook less than 1% of the time. It requires a plastic bag. Yuikes! What is the conclusion? All of the above make it not worth the sticker price. I would rather buy a cheaper model. I would wait before they released the newer model.
👤The touch screen panel is simple to use. The Max can go up to between 12 and 15 PSI. The heat progression indicator is similar to the Ultra, but the Max gives you temperature readings as it's heating. The unit automatically releases steam in short bursts as it builds up to pressure, unlike the IP Ultra that remains silent during pressurization. The finished cooking results are the same with both the Max and Ultra. The steam release after the cooking time is over is something I don't like. There are 3 options to choose from, Natural Release, Intermittent Release, and Immediate Release. The control panel must be used to select these. If you need to stop the steam release, you can simply remove your finger from the button. You can't do this on the Max. I had a volcano of soup pea in my kitchen before I got hold of a dish towel to cover the vent, after I prepared Split Pea Soup and decided to release the steam after 15 minutes of no steam. I wasn't hurt. I wanted to point out that the steam release on the Max is not controlled by manual control. I still use my 6 quart Ultra more than the Max, but I like it.

👤The 2nd update was on December 18th. After 15 minutes, I washed the vinegar with soap and it worked. The spots were gone. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. This review will be updated if this product lasts for a while. There is an update on 12/18/19. The manufacturer/seller answered my question quickly. I haven't cooked orboiled anything since the review, so I haven't done the solution yet. I plan to do the solution this weekend. I will see if this item will work with my Jackery 240 solar generator, which has a lower power setting. I will update this review once I do all that. I know a few of my co-workers were in awe when they saw me using this product. It is easy to use and it will boil in 7 minutes if I switch to lower heat. The eggs came out perfectly if you boil it for 10 minutes then turn it off. I'm wary of using the pot for other purposes like noodles and spaghetti because of the weird discoloration on the pot. There is a shell to protect the eggs. Please tell the manufacturer about these spots.
👤If I can't make it home when I'm at college, I bought the car in case. I have been using this a lot in the last month. When I'm doing college work I use to make ramen in my office at night, but I've used to make hot water with it. It's a small pot. It can't go in the dishwasher because you have to hand wash it. There is a Leave them a question under this and I will answer it.
👤I used it to cook noodles. It is easy to use and cooks quickly. The hot pot is good for 1-2 people. The pot is fun to use. I have changed the way I eat. I am very satisfied with the functions of this cooker.
👤I like the size of the product, it's good for noodle, dumplings, etc. It's easy to carry and I can have fresh food. The line is not long enough, most likely you need an additional plug like me.
👤I bought this mini pot a year ago. I loved it in the beginning. It's convenient for one person. I can eat my lunch in one pot. The power sometimes didn't work after a year. My husband tried to fix it. It's dirty and smelly inside. The power switch was changed by my husband. If the structure can be more sturdy, I still think it's a good buy.
👤I bought this because of a few things. I work night shift and share a house with my mother so I always look for things to reduce the noise I make when I'm awake. I thought it would be a good way to make pasta and stay in my room. If it worked well, I could make fresh pasta instead of reheated pasta. It works. Okay. I made pasta first and it did well. The pasta was cooked as usual. Dumped the pasta to the drain and then cooked it up. I started to notice an issue here. The pasta sauce got hot very quickly. I mixed the pasta up and it was fine. It was more of a mess than expected. It wasn't hard to clean. I put some water in and let it sit for a while, then I was able to get all the scalded sauce off. There is a The issue of sweltering is a recurrent one. I've made several soups in this and they all scald very easily, even on the "low" setting. Even if you stir constantly, you're going to end up with burns. There is a I've noticed that it shuts itself off randomly. I know it has a setting that keeps it hot. The last time I used it, I barely got my soup to temperature and it shut itself off. It works for what it is but not what I was looking for.

The set is dishwasher safe and can be stuck into the dishwasher. The attractive, sturdy holder keeps all utensils organized. The utensils have a loophole that allows them to be kept together in a drawer.
👤If you want to cook with rusty utensils, this is the set for you.
👤They are not made of steel. The spatula had rust on it.
👤The finish is not solid. The parts are black and look scorched. I don't recommend this product. The country of origin is not present.
👤I was happy with the purchase until I received the package and tools as tolls. The red flag is number one. The utensils are cheap. There is a coating that is not even. The brown colored water was dripping off the utensils after they 888-282-0465. I can only guess that the plastic coating started to break off after three washings. Don't trust this product, it's very low quality.
👤Don't buy! Big scam! DEFECTIVE FROM CHINA CHEAPEST metal, thin, easily scratchable, came with lots of ding, scratches, discolored spots and parts of package were opened, definitely looked used and cleaned!!) Words can't describe the thickness of the metal, it looks horrible, not even close to the picture. The quality of the products is similar to that of this junk.
👤Even though I was not happy with the product, the seller contacted me and was helpful and rectified the situation completely. There is a This was a disappointment. I am replacing my kitchen utensils with new ones made of steel. I thought it would be a good starter. It ended up being a flop. The items are beautiful from a distance. There are scratches on two of the utensils and one of the utensils came with strange white particles on it. I wouldn't recommend a friend to buy something from me.
👤Nice looking tools. All made or very thin. It was semi-cheesey. It was not a substantive feel to them. A good starter set. Think of them as Ikea utensils. Will last for a while and you will get to the good stuff.
👤It was dirty and damaged. I returned the package I received today. I will wait for the stores to open. Terrible experience.
👤Absolutely disgusting. I'm really disappointed that I received a gift that was part of a housewarming gift. The packaging is sticky. When I saw how bad the box was, I thought I'd better look inside. The utensils look like they have been used. They're covered in an orange substance and sticky. They are all scratched and worn. Will be returning. It's not worth buying.
👤The tools were crumpled in the battered box and the cellophane over them looked like they had been sent to another buyer. There is a The kitchen utensils were heavy in weight but that was not a problem. They have a cheap feel to them, and that was not good for quality. There is a The utensil holder that came with the utensils was a bit loose and wasn't sitting straight as it was supposed to but at a sloping angle. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. Quality suffers because of the amount of items in the set, which is a lot for the money. Even though I am not happy with the quality, I will still use the kitchen utensils. I think it's worth spending twice as much for a better quality item, I was surprised how high this kithen utility set was on the Amazon best seller list. Maybe the price is appealing to buyers. There is a I was happy with the price but not with the quality of the items, and wish I had spent more money for a better purchase. Thank you.
75 Watts is the wattage. The net weight was 86.8 LB. The Small Zone is 8.8" W x 13 L x 19.2" H, the Large Zone is 14.2" W x 13 L x 19.2 H, and the compressor step is 7.6" W x 7.5" H. The premium surface is easy to clean. The slide-out tray is easy to clean. Control Master maintains the cooking temperature. The heavy cast aluminum base is very resistant to warp. The heat control has been removed. The handles from the griddle base can be easily removed with the open latch clips. There were no tools needed. Base stores in most 18-inch kitchen cabinets. The cooking area is 231 square inch.
👤We used the grill. It was fine. We found the manual when we looked at the broken edge of the drip pan. We got it in January. Not cool.
👤Great Griddle! I had a Cast iron that didn't heat evenly and I wanted the electric to distribute the heat better. I was worried about the reviews but decided to try it. I was very happy I did. Maybe they didn't let the griddle warm up before using it? I have made French toast and pancakes on it and am very happy with it. I used it on the 300 setting for the pancakes. I am very pleased with the fact that it is easy to clean and I will be making more big weekend breakfasts. I can't wait to try other things on it, but one dish breakfast, or 6 big pancakes at a time? That is awesome.
👤I initially set it at the lowest heat and gave it a few minutes. After stabilizing at 350, moved it to 500. There was no warping at all. I made pancakes with no oil. Even cooking.
👤The right side cooks hotter than the left, but it's roomy and cooks evenly. There is a The surface on my older model was too scratched to use anymore, so I prefer my newer model. The old model has no plastic edging to protect surroundings or body parts from accidental touching. I have accidentally rubbed up against this and burned myself. My older model had a drain area on 3 of the 4 sides and the back was the only exposed area. There is a The drain tray was longer and narrower, which doesn't seem like it would make a difference, but it does. This one is shallow and wide. Is it nit-picking? It's an issue I've confronted early on, so I thought it was worth mentioning. The surface is ridged, but so far so good, I thought it would be more difficult to clean. I think this may make a difference later on. There is a The thermostat plug fits snug in place, which is a great improvement over my older model where the plug would fall out. There is a If only Presto could make an adjustment to the leg so that it would drain to the front. That would be amazing. The unit sits level and you have to tilt it to get the most grease off the top. I'm satisfied since I can cook a full pack of bacon on it. I will use a frying pan for pancakes.
👤My husband loves cooking. I bought it for him after he said he liked it. He uses this all the time. We have had a griddle for almost a year. The non-stick surface is very durable and things to love about this griddle. It is not smooth, but it is hard and non-stick. It holds up well with metal utensils. It can get very hot very fast. The power cord and handles need to be removed for cleaning and storage. It's big enough to do 8 or more pancakes at a time, or 8 grilled cheese sandwiches, or six slices of bacon and four fried eggs. There is a lot of room on this griddle. Some of the parts feel cheap, so I don't love this griddle. The grill surface is heavy and durable, but the grease tray is cheap and broke after a few months, I was not present at the time. The clips that hold the handles on seem to be more fragile than they should be. The heat is not completely across the grill. There are not cold spots, but it is hot and hotter. You can quickly learn where the hottest spots are and then make sure everything gets fried, grilled, and melted. The kind of cooking you do on this grill is high maintenance, with a lot of flipping, and so you just move stuff around to get even cooking you want. The handles on the dishwasher can come off, but nothing else can. It is difficult to remove the handles. They have clips at each end of the handle, which make it easy to flip it over when you're setting up the grill. When it's hot and covered with bacon grease, it's a little more of a pain. The size of the griddle makes it a challenge to get clean. We have a kitchen sink with a faucet that has a hose, but it would be hard to rinse it. The pattern on the non-stick surface makes it necessary to use a soft brush and scrub it off if you don't want residual bacon grease flavoring your grilled cheese. This thing doesn't fit very well. It doesn't fit in any of my cabinets even though the handles have been removed. I thought about the top of the fridge. It was leaning up on the wall on the counter. I'm on travel and my husband is always on the island, so I sit out on the island. There is a A few short-comings, but very happy with this appliance.

👤I bought this Fullstar vegetable chopper because I suck at dicing. I don't like slicing. Unless you are Jacques Pépin or Julia Child, you may feel the same way. Don't feel bad if you don't have the courage to dice an onion or other vegetable in ten seconds flat. The skill needed to dice a vegetable into chunks is what really matters. Even legendary master chefs can benefit from the time savings and consistency of a food chopper and a mandoline offer. Let's talk about the part about the mandoline. The same guy that invented the guillotine invented the Mandolines. I don't want you to! I have owned a professional-level V-blade mandoline for many years. It was useful and versatile in the kitchen. I sliced the tip of my finger off one day and it was scary. It's easy to have an accident if your attention wanders off for even a second or two, no matter how much care you exercise. Many people don't use a mandoline because it's scary. There are many attempts to make a safer mandoline. I wasn't willing to live with the compromises that these often have. I started researching food choppers on Amazon. That's right, for a few weeks. Do you know how many are on Amazon? There areOZENS andOZENS! I read the descriptions and questions and then review the products. I did not include the ones that were food choppers. I eliminated the ones that were mandolines but did not include food choppers. I was left with a reduced number of products. One of my most important criteria was introduced. The mandoline had to have a thickness adjustment. Why does the slice thickness change? You don't want your slices to be just one thickness all the time. Many professional-level mandolines have a slice thickness adjustment knob or lever or tab because it's a very convenient and time-saving feature and it eliminates the need to handle additional blades or plastic inserts. The Fullstar vegetable chopper has a slice thickness adjustment tab at one end of the mandoline, which is far away from the blade. It was one of the better adjustment devices I could find. The floor plane was made from solid materials and could hold a fair amount of pressure. I was able to get slices that were thin, medium and thick. It's a good sign! Thank you, Fullstar. Why don't you have this on all of your mandolines? There is a I was worried that this Fullstar Mandoline was small compared to my pro-level mandoline. Smaller mandolins are more dangerous to use than larger ones. I am happy to report that the Fullstar worked perfectly. The blade was so sharp that it cut through vegetables like a hot knife through butter. It worked so well that my confidence was instantly boosted. I found the experience enjoyable. They recommend using the glove in concert with the finger guard. Cut resistant is not the same as cutproof. Restaurants don't use gloves that are cut resistant. Medieval knights used to wear chain mail gloves. Chain mail gloves are used by butchers because no knife can cut through them. You can purchase them on Amazon. The feature that drew me away from my full-size, pro-level mandoline was the food collection. If you want to catch the food slices, you have to place a plate under the mandoline. This can be awkward as the slices can end up on the counter or on the floor, as they are often coming fast and furious. The plate has to be small to fit underneath and that means it won't hold a lot of food slices. There is a 1.5L clear tray underneath the Fullstar that catches all the slices. Unlike most other products in this category, you don't have to pull the chopper part off the tray to get to your food slices or dices. The catch tray on the Fullstar is a convenient drawer that you can pull out any time. This reduces time handling dangerous parts. Let's talk about the food chopper part. It is a vegetable or fruit. The Fullstar has a coarse and fine dicer blade. I was hoping the Fullstar also had an even coarser blade, but two out of three on this nifty little kitchen tool are not bad. I have to warn you, exercise care when handling the dicer blades, they are a bit awkward to handle, so the tendency is to handle them somewhat hastily, which could end up cutting you. Fullstar cautions that their blades are sharp. I would describe their blades as being a level or two higher than that. I think I'm joking. Think again! There is a If a julienne blade is used properly, it candice food. The Fullstar has a julienne blade, so why not have a dicer? Some of us don't know how to use a julienne blade. The dicer allows you to quickly dice food. This uniformity is the most important thing. If the food is fried, baked, steamed, parboiled, blanched or otherwise cooked, diced vegetables will yield consistent results. If the vegetable or fruit chunks are all the same size, they will give a similar mouth feel, even if they are not cooked. I gave the Fullstar Vegetable Chopper / Mandoline four out of five stars. I deducted one star because there are other improvements that could be made, but this review has already run too long. This little kitchen tool makes food prep fast and efficient. I wouldn't call it a "kitchen gadget" because it's not really a kitchen appliance, but a legitimate kitchen utensil. It uses a minimum of real estate on your countertops and storage areas. It has a balanced feature set that is likely to please. Thank you for reading! There is an update. I noticed that some people were having difficulty slicing hard vegetables after reading some of the other reviews. This is not an issue of blade sharpness but an issue of technique and inexperience with mondolines. Don't start cutting at the blade. You should begin as far away from the blade as possible. Always wear a protective glove and use long, fast, consistent strokes. Once you have gained some experience, your strokes can get shorter and faster. Beginners can benefit from spraying Pam or other food spray directly onto the bed plane and blades. If you can afford to throw away a few sliced veggies, a little practice will make you much better before you tackle that make-or-break dish. You will wonder what you ever did without this kitchen tool once you get the hang of it. You can watch instructional videos on the internet. The demonstrators begin by gripping larger vegetables by hand and then switch to a finger guard once they have sliced them off. Some demonstrators don't use the protective glove. They might have experience that allows them to do that, but they are demonstrating for inexperienced users. Even a highly experienced expert will wish they had used a protective glove. Someone once said, "let safety be your highest priority."

👤If you will, you will see a Ninja innovation. There is a I'm a Ninja Fan. I use their device all the time. I use their foodi all the time. Ninja is reliable and versatile, two things that I like in my kitchen. You were aware that there would be a "but" coming. There is a The problem with the air fryer was that it would be better to grill the food than air-fry it. I could do it and the results were acceptable, but I always thought there should be a better way. We are here. There is a Foodi does it. In spades. It's a very well designed and engineered indoor grill with the added benefits of air frying that I love so much along with baking/roasting functions and dehydration. I'll hit these in turn, but this thing is awesome. The main event is indoor grilling. This is exactly what Ninja does here. It's not designed to provide square feet of grilling space, but for four hamburgers, two-three steaks, unless it's my steak, in which case it barely fits one. Yes. It's right-sized, I like steak or five-six thighs. It uses the same system as my other Foodi but it works crazy with the grill application. The grill plate is heavy and requires a lot of warm up time before you cook. The warm up gets the grill plate nice and hot, put the food in there, and you have a nice, hot grill. It's going to be great to eat jerk chicken in the winter. There is a I made grilled garlic Zatar naan with this. The result was fantastic, it took about two minutes after warm up to finish. It was hard to keep away from other people in the house, but I made it. It's mine! You can make your own. Grilling meats, seafood, and other items go just as smoothly. While other indoor grills in that you grill with the lid down, open the Foodi to check on things, doesn't mean you'll lose much in terms of heat recovery... cooking time was not delayed because it came back up to temp fast. If you oil the meat you get grill marks, and results for meat are fantastic. This comes with an air-fry basket so I can rest my steak while I cook. Right? It's not worth doing up a bunch of fries. Air frying works the same as my other Foodi. There is plenty of space for such things. Buffalo wings are also a natural. I don't know what Ninja does, but I don't care. I eat well that night because I push a couple of buttons. Baking and roasting work well. I roast meat using the air fry basket since I want the air circulation to be all around the meat. A small roasting rack will work here if the dimensions are off. I always sear a roast before putting it in an oven, and that step is still required with this device. The Foodi is ready in about five minutes, whereas the oven takes about three hours to heat up. I'm happy that it's big enough to handle a medium roast. There is a Dehydrating is a new feature in the Ninja stable, and it works better for smaller batches than my dedicated dehydrator. A little hacking will increase the amount of food you can dehydrate here. For backpacking meals, I put pasta in food saver bags with cheese powder and powdered milk. I have a cup of boiling water and Mac and cheese. It is pretty easy to care for. The interior pieces are dishwasher safe. There's a grease collector on the back of the device that's easy to clean. There is a This thing is perfect. It has a large footprint. The physical size doesn't matter if it's something that's going to be used a lot. Counter space allocation is a given if it's a useful device. Foodi is a big part of the house. It's an incredibly valuable addition to my kitchen and even only having it for a short time it's already become a nearly indispensable part of my kitchen equipment. It's great.
